Milani's infallible weather forecast.
The only thing that will vary this weekend in the Midwest is how high the white stuff will stand. No more green grass until spring.

What the Bears showed today has to be very foreboding for the Packers. They ran the ball down Philly's throat successfully. And Barkley was a non-entity. That has to scare us.

Carolina did a number on us but they lacked talent in other positions. Now the Packers lost their one hope to stopping the run with a season ender. They will be forced to load the box or the Bears will run 10-13 play drives which keep our offense off the field. This will give Caleb a chance to play action and due damage. MLF has 9 days to find help or come up with his toughest game plan of the season. The Bears played their best game of the year today. Credit their coaching staff.

Hopefully Stackhouse & Brinson are ready for the Big Time & can help shore up the DL against the run. We'll lose something on pass rush, but NEED to shut down the run game or teams won't need to pass much.

X Georgia Defenders, Brinson or Stackhouse will need to rise to the occasion. It would also be nice if Van Ness can get back in the mix, especially with a 10 day window before hosting Chicago.
We’re thin at iDL, however Brinson (6’5.5” X 315lb) shown some growth recently. Warren is not a pure run stopper, but he’s 2” taller and 10lb. heavier than Wyatt (305lb) and Warren is a very balanced Pass/Run Defender. Also Nazir is 6’4” X 327lb, so not exactly a featherweight. Nazir has seen a 15% snap count in 2025 and I suspect we’ll see that tick up to ~20% to add some size inside.

Not sure Wyatt was our beat run defender on the DLine. He was our best pass rusher though and that will be missed. James Ester is a rookie on our PS and the only DT. There has to be some talent out there on another PS.

Size wise they fit they mold. Kind of like Gilbert Brown and Santana Dotson. But being knew to the NFL makes them vulnerable. Like jumping offside.

I do gotta say........
Ben Johnson taking his shirt off and flexing on da whole NFL and letting them know that we're the real deal holy field..........
and the way the team has responded to his leadership........
that's what a Leader of Men looks like and does.......
I've never never been happier or more proud as a Bears fan.

And you should be. Improving a team that is been in a losing doldrum for years is one accomplishment. But taking that team quickly to a near championship level is a major step function. In 1965 the Bears were 0-3 and Halas made some player changes and started challenging his team. The Bears won 9 of the next 10. Had it not been for that bad start they could have won the conference.

George Halas was still coaching then.

This was their tight end. Gale Sayers was playing RB and Rudy Bukich (who?) was the Chicago QB. There hadn't been any Super Bowls played. I was 3, so I don't remember that.
