Please check your scores for accuracy. There may be mistakes in the above calculations. If there are any discrepancies in scoring requiring correction please let me know. I will forward them to the accounting firm of Pleasant, Funt & O'Farrell (PFO) who will audit your request. They really will.

The leaderboard is pretty tight. A few direct hit scores and good picking results can propel most of you to the top. Let's see if we can finish well.

I realized that I haven't posted our rules for a few weeks. Here they are. They are useful for checking you weekly scores.

Guess the score of each team of each game...
Each game you pick the correct winner of: 5 points
If you pick correctly on at least half the games scheduled for the week earns a 20 points bonusl
If you pick correctly on at least 75% of the games earns a 40 point bonus (plus the previous 20 points).
If you get all but one of the games correct nets 100 bonus points (plus the 20 & 40 from above)
Guess right on all the games and enjoy an additional 150 points (plus the previous 20, 40 & 100)
If you pick a game score in which you pick the winner and the correct margin of victory, you will get 25 bonus points. We'll call this a spread bingo or a mini bingo.
And ..... If you guess the correct winner and score of any game: 125 bonus points tacked on for each correct game. (You will not receive the 25 spread bonus with a Bingo) This is known as a score Bingo.
If you've got incredibly mad skills and happen to guess every correct score of every game: you get a mega jackpot of 5000 points (Lotsa luck with that one.)
At the end of the regular season the player, or players with the most correct picks over the regular season will receive 180 bonus points, or a split of that amount.

Please make sure to get your picks in for the Thursday night game.

All are welcome to play, and good luck to all!

All weekly entries must be in before game times, Thursday night kickoff, and all of the rest before 12:00 noon Central Time on Sunday.

what is your reason for the Packers/Vikings game?
For the Vikings this is their season. A loss now and the playoffs go out the window. They will be playing for all the marbles. Their injury list is not nearly as big as ours. They actually have the best group of receivers of any team we faced, including Detroit, Philly, and Dallas. And they even brought back Thielen, who is an old Packer nemesis. Their QB, although green, has shown he can play at a high level on a given Sunday. JJ can escape the pass rush and has no fear of getting smacked. The Vikings D is still very formidable.
The Packers are very beat up. We cannot hurt them with a TE. We have to come up with a plan to protect Love against a team that blitzes left and right. We have kicker issues, unlike the Vikings. And with Jacobs either out or very limited it takes away that power to move the pile. To win the Packers will need something they have had little of this season. That is turnovers. We got one very late last week but the Giants offense is not what we will face Sunday. To beat the Vikings we have to mirror the Bears; Good placekicking and ST, confusing and tight coverage, pressuring the box, and running the football. Jefferson did not have his best day against the Bears. They had a plan for him.
Our coaching and game planning has to get better. What I see happening in Chicago is not what I see happening in GB. Not yet.

Ouch. Didn't know that, but I am still going to roll with the upset.
I like your boldness. So far so good at Halftime.

I just hope if Houston holds on for a Win that everyone holds Buffalo to the same standard as Green Bay playing Carolina. No favoritism this is a backup QB against a reigning MVP

Bills are on the road. And the Texans do have a solid defense. But it is TNF. That is when you can throw out most of the trends.

My take here is a lesson well learned and I hope the Packers take it seriously. The early failed PAT by the Bills cost them later. They could have gotten the game to OT. And then anything can happen.

173 points for the Detroit offence:eek: I'll assume 27-17 is the intention.

Nice job on the TNF pick.
