I'm just a spectator here, but did anyone have the Broncs beating Philly, or the Pats beating the Bills? Weird weekend indeed.

That said, Drake Maye looks like the real deal. He was throwing dimes everywhere. Too many for it to be a coincidence.
I was surprised by the accuracy on the move, and the velocity had touch. He didn't overpower the receivers just made sure the passes were catchable. He appears to be a prime example of how good coaching can correct the problems a player has coming out of college and making them a solid pro.

Raptorman, a Vikings fan (spit!) was our best contrary picker in weeks 6. He didn't pick Philly, but did pick the Commanders, Pats, and Jags. He also hit the spread on four of his score picks getting 100 bonus points.
He was the only player above .500.

Getting the Pats and Jags right were great picks. Congrats Raptorman. And yeah Commanders over the red hot Chargers is also an upset.

I guess now the question is are the Jags for real, maybe even the Pats? I didn't see any Jags/Chiefs film, but I did see some Drake Maye film and he looks great.

You don't have to be a spectator. You can start sending in weekly picks.;)
Ok thanks CC I'll start doing that. Much appreciated.
I had it with us scoring 52 though and then backed it off. LOL
I'll take 34 and a win. Putting up 52 would be sweet though. One thing is certain, this is a statement game - well if there is such a thing.

Are we gonna see the Packers from weeks 1-2 or weeks 3-4? Anyway 34 sounds like a good number. Flacco will surely start after just 4 days in Cleveland, and that's a plus for the Packers.

Be hard for them not to. Think Joe Flacco will beat the Packers for the second time in 3 weeks?
I noticed that you have picked both Pittsburgh and Cleveland in their game. Can you please narrow it down to just one team. Thanks.

I will not say it will be hard for them not to. The last time the Packers faced a starting QB in the same season with 2 different teams was in 2011. It was Kyle Orton. We beat him with Denver 49-23. But with a 13-0 record we went down to KC and he beat us 19-14. The other irony was that I attended both games that season hoping we had a chance to get in Dolphin territory. No dice.

I was at a Vikings Bills game in Orchard Park, NY almost eleven years ago. It had been a somewhat lackluster game with Teddy Bridgewater and the Vikings leading 16-10. Buffalo's QB that day was the aforementioned Kyle Orton, who drove his team down the field from their own 20 yard line in a uneven 15 play drive starting with about three minutes left on the clock. With two seconds left he topped it off with a two yard TD pass to Sammy Watkins for a Buffalo 17-16 win. Orton retired at the end of that season (2014).

Week 5 was brutal. Almost all of our pickers were left gobsmacked as strong NFL teams wilted to their perceived weaker opponents. It proved the old "On any given Sunday" adage always applies in the NFL.

Let us put this badness behind us and proceed to week 6, and see how we fare. Of course we have the Thursday game, plus another early Sunday game from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

All are welcome to play, and good luck to all!

All weekly entries must be in before game times, Thursday night kickoff, 8:30 am CDT for the London game, and the rest by 12:00 noon Central Time on Sunday.

Guess the score of each team of each game...
Each game you pick the correct winner of: 5 points
If you pick correctly on at least half the games scheduled for the week earns a 20 points bonusl
If you pick correctly on at least 75% of the games earns a 40 point bonus (plus the previous 20 points).
If you get all but one of the games correct nets 100 bonus points (plus the 20 & 40 from above)
Guess right on all the games and enjoy an additional 150 points (plus the previous 20, 40 & 100)
If you pick a game score in which you pick the winner and the correct margin of victory, you will get 25 bonus points. We'll call this a spread bingo or a mini bingo.
And ..... If you guess the correct winner and score of any game: 125 bonus points tacked on for each correct game. (You will not receive the 25 spread bonus with a Bingo) This is known as a score Bingo.
If you've got incredibly mad skills and happen to guess every correct score of every game: you get a mega jackpot of 5000 points (Lotsa luck with that one.)
At the end of the regular season the player, or players with the most correct picks over the regular season will receive 180 bonus points, or a split of that amount.

Please send in your scores and winners for the following 15 games.

I think Orton also played for the Bears.
