I'd like to say that it was luck, but I really locked in and studied that game closely. I spent days analyzing the data and refining my choice until the obvious conclusion was reached.El bingo para El Guapo!!
Rams 14 Texans 9
Well done!
I can't really say anything because during the 10 game losing streak last year I do believe I picked against the Bears quite a bitYou all missed the real issue with Raptor's predictions...he picked Chicago to win. Com'on, man!
It's a gut feeling. I think the Bears come out slinging with a new attitude behind their new coach. It wouldn't surprise me if Chicago ended the first 5 games at 4-1.I'm not saying that Raptorman isn't objective, but it's the first game of the season and the Vikings are favored by 1.5 on the road. I would think that Raptorman would be 100% all-in on his team winning tonight out of duty to his favorite team.
I think Vikings D presents a problem because it’s so early. Plus many Offenses struggle some that first Week or three. I think The Packers Offense struggled some or more than many of us want to believe. We were efficient in our smaller sample, but in our last 6 (call it 5 drives) our longest drive was 39 yards. Partly thanks to D + ST.It's a gut feeling. I think the Bears come out slinging with a new attitude behind their new coach. It wouldn't surprise me if Chicago ended the first 5 games at 4-1.
You can laugh all you want, but something is telling me their new coach will make a major difference.

But when you have Caleb out on the campaign trail for the Bears it can put the fear of Halas in any opponent.I'm not saying that Raptorman isn't objective, but it's the first game of the season and the Vikings are favored by 1.5 on the road. Struggled some, yes. But even though we won the Lions are still a very good team. And they are not going to roll over. So I give them credit.I think Vikings D presents a problem because it’s so early. Plus many Offenses struggle some that first Week or three. The Vikings were a Turnover machine last season and until proven otherwise will present problems for Caleb imo. Also Caleb just LOVES to scramble.. and that feeds into Minnesota’s strength imo. Frankly I’m surprised Chicago is favored. They might be week 11? Etc but they’ve got to earn that imo. Im assuming the odds are because JJ is a relative unknown.
Yes. I think on the face it sounds like a slight on our Offense. However it’s anything but that. I have high expectations for Jordan and I have before it was popular. You don’t trip through College as a Sophomore (and first full year starter) averaging nearly 50 points per game by some accident.Struggled some, yes. Fear? Nope. Just common sense. I do think Caleb has the chance to be a good QB at this point. What "HE" does with it will be telling. How he plays not only tonight but the next few games will show if it was him last year or the coaching staff. Remember this, Bart Starr would have been considered a bust after his first 3 years.(3-15-1, 13 TDs, 25 INTs. even for that time, that was brutal) Never underestimate a QB based on their first year. But when you have Caleb out on the campaign trail for the Bears it can put the fear of Halas in any opponent.
Really I’d say it’s more around that 3rd to 4th season they are battle tested at QB. I’m talking starting seasons against live competition, not 3 years on a benchFear? Nope. Just common sense.
