NFL 2025 Weekly Predictions Contest: Week 1

Yes, here we are again ready to launch into another NFL season. Will a new and improved Packer team win the NFC North? Will the Eagles repeat as Super Bowl champions? Before much of that can be determined, there are 272 regular season football contests to play.

Here is your chance to show that you can pick the winners and scores throughout the season, and win the Packer Forum prediction contest points title. There have even been some changes made in the 2025 weekly points which will further reward our sharp pickers, as outlined below. The new rules and clarifications for 2025 are in green.

All are welcome to play, and good luck to all!

All weekly entries must be in before game times, Thursday night kickoff, and the rest by 12:00 noon Central Time on Sunday.

Guess the score of each team of each game...
Each game you pick the correct winner of: 5 points
If you pick correctly on at least half the games scheduled for the week earns a 20 points bonusl
If you pick correctly on at least 75% of the games earns a 40 point bonus (plus the previous 20 points).
If you get all but one of the games correct nets 100 bonus points (plus the 20 & 40 from above)
Guess right on all the games and enjoy an additional 150 points (plus the previous 20, 40 & 100)
If you pick a game score in which you pick the winner and the correct margin of victory, you will get 25 bonus points. We'll call this a spread bingo or a mini bingo.
And ..... If you guess the correct winner and score of any game: 125 bonus points tacked on for each correct game. This is known as a score bingo.
If you've got incredibly mad skills and happen to guess every correct score of every game: you get a mega jackpot of 5000 points (Lotsa luck with that one.)
At the end of the regular season the player, or players with the most correct picks over the regular season will receive 180 bonus points, or a split of that amount.

I had a cousin who wanted to retire to St. George, Utah. They loved that area. In the end, he left the police force in the Milwaukee area and bought a place up near Eagle River, WI. They decided on that location because it was close to where their kids all lived. He since passed, and never got back to St. George.

Their reason for that area was, if I'm correct, because of its proximity to where you moved. I believe he was offered a position at growing casino in Mesquite as head of security.

The Cowboys still have a good shot. Jalen Carter took his shot and got quickly tossed. Pretty dumb move.

It was a good division game. The Cowboys impressed me. I did not expect this close of a game. That fumble may be exactly the difference. And they only had 4 accepted penalties. I think when the Pack goes to big D the Boys will be favored. Philly did not play its best but they were very efficient. Short passing and a solid time consuming ground game. Only 1 sack. The Ds took over in the second half. To beat Philly you have to force them out of the run game and also win the turnover battle.

Miles Sanders doesn't fumble and CeeDee Lamb actually catches passes. He was paid to catch Dallas maybe walks out with a W but we'll never know because he did fumble and he didn't catch the passes so yeah.

Well everyone correctly picked the Eagles to win, except the Bears fan.

There were a few correct guesses on either the Eagles or Cowboys score, but nobody nailed them both. An interesting start so far...
