If you were a GM and could have any 5 players in the league to build a team around in the NFL which players would you pick?

I thought about Bradford instead of Rodgers to be honest, but only because of age.

I agree with all of these, but I would substitute Jake Long for Demarcus Ware.

shoulder injury makes me nervous, and I would take Joe Thomas over long if I was going tackle. I was going for elite QB, and the best D in the league.

I think this defense would blow away the team sack record.

1. Aaron Rogers
2. Clay Matthews
3. Deshawn Jackson (sp?)
4 .Suh
5. Micheal Oher (The Raven's are a waste of his talent, I'd like to see what he can do on a higher caliber team)

~Adrian Peterson would have been #6. Or swap him for Jackson.

Thought about Jake Long at #5 but having a CB like Revis would be too good to pass up.

A lot would depend on what systems my coaches were going to run. Since I like MM's offense and Capers' defense, I'll assume my team will be running those.

Suh, Revis, and Peterson are locks no matter what. Matthews is a lock in a 3-4, but not necessarily in a 4-3. Rodgers is my pick in this system or really similar systems based on his knowledge of the system and how well he runs it. I can see arguments for others, especially Rivers, but I'd still have to pick A-Rod in this system.

Peyton Manning has skills, but his head is what has won him a ton of games. He's the best "field general" in the game, and maybe the best ever. I think A-Rod has the potential to run our system like Manning runs Indy's sytem. We've seen a few glimpses of how crazy-good A-Rod can run this offense. I think that with just a little more time, and having our normal offensive weapons on the field as opposed to being out with injuries, those glimpses will become the norm.
