HOF: no Butler again.

The Hall of Fame finalists were announced. Le Roy Butler didn't make the cut again. Safeties who did were Lynch, Atwater and Reed. Also, Clay's dad, Clay Jr, didn't make the cut.

I used to really like watching Clay's dad play linebacker for Cleveland when they were on TV. He was very hard nosed. Too bad about Leroy but he does have some very tough competition.

Among other accomplishments, first defensive back to have 20 sacks and 20 interceptions.

If nothing else, I will always remember LeRoy for the inaugural Lambeau Leap.

I don't think so. Butler has the resume and credentials. No way he gets in ahead of Ed Reed or Champ Bailey as a DB. Maybe next year. It will happen.

Butler has better numbers than Lynch and Atwater who are both among the finalists.

Yeah... thanks for the video. LeRoy could end up in the HOF eventually, but I have a feeling it would end up being a Jerry Kramer type wait.
