Honestly guys, anything can really happen in the NFC right now. It is definitely plausible that the Pack could beat the Queens in the playoffs.
I mean, look at the Saints. How many close games did they have to what we would consider "garbage" teams? They VERY narrowly beat the Rams. They just barely escaped with a victory against the Falcons, who are without their starting QB and have one of the worst defenses in the league. Even the Colts, who are arguably more dominant of the AFC than the Saints seem to be, have shown signs of weakness at times.
While I know that these teams will come to play in the playoffs, as every team should (i.e. the Vikings), they have shown that they are not immortal and that, they too, have weaknesses. With AP out of the picture, the Vikings are definitely exposed. I'm not saying it's most likely the case, but some of you queens fans are more or less entirely ruling out the possibility, or you are giving us very slim chances. If you don't see that our team has grown over the season, then you are missing something, or refuse to look for it. We are CERTAINLY a better team now than we were when we played you the first couple of times.
If you're going to look at things so vaguely as to say that we are still the same team and same set of players, then we can turn it right back around at you. Historically, Favre and the entire Vikings squad (including Chilly) have had trouble near the end of the season and in the post-season. If you're going to extrapolate last year's woes and our troubles from the beginning of the season to our playoff chances this year, that at least do the same for yourselves, and consider that, given the historical evidence, your future isn't necessarily set in stone.
