Off topic; I see that a number of you guys travel a lot. I have to go to Charleston in the end of February for my oldest Son's (on the right in my avatar) wedding. What is your preferred method of booking flights, hotels and rental cars?

Hmmm... We don't have a thread for International Football.

Today is a big day. The Yanks take on Ecuador in what is Landon Donovan's last game playing for the USA. I know @Sandolf is a huge Landon Donovan fan.

Also today, during halftime of the USA game, I will be announced as the next President of the American Outlaws Las Vegas. A 4 year term.

Apparently Jürgen Klinsmann isn't a big fan after reading some of his most recent comments. I wonder what the rub is between those two?

Mr. President? Awesome!

Oh, Charleston, thats a beautiful, small city ! One of the nicest places I've been on my trips to the US.
I usually book directly with the hotel, car rental or airline.Sometimes I use hotels.com or, as mentioned by bundesbiers, booking.com.

It's all volunteer work. But I'm all for the cause. However, AO Corporate has just issued challenges to all Chapters that they want every chapter to legally become a "Not For Profit" business. This will be my first challenge, to gain Not For Profit status as an official endeavor.

Ah, that sounds similar to our "Eingetragener Verein, short => e.V."
Is there any merchandise ? I'd buy an AO Las Vegas T-Shirt to support your organization ! ;)

Hey Bundesbiers! I heard that Donovan went into the stands to meet the Outlaws. Are you in any of these pictures?

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...l-us-game-jurgen-klinsmann-end-feud/17070163/

I didn't go to the game. I was busy as my first official night as President of AO Vegas at our normal viewing party place. Would have loved to been there tho for Donovan's last game.

Mix Diskeruud had a great quote after the game. "I'm closer to the Outlaws than I am with the Inlaws".... LOL. Good stuff there.

It is hard for me to put my views into the appropriate words. :D

Admitedly, all we get up here is a toque and a sippy cup for hot and cold beverages. Flag waving is for nationalistic dementos.

Watching Germany v Poland. The commentator has such a thick Brit accent that it's hard to understand at times. He sounds like one of the Beatles. LOL. "Area" is pronounced "Ay-ree-ah". Earned is pronounce "Ay-rnd". They sound so alike that it is hard to distinguish. :roflmao:
