Here's an excellent column by Pete Dougherty about why the Packers have been so successful this year. I think it's very true what he says about Favre being more engaged in the game because he can change more plays at the line of scrimmmage:

Great article!! Im glad Favre is more involved, hes been around along time and Im sure has seen everything, if he can change the calls thats a great thing.
