Ok. I don't think I was clear enough. You can blame TT for whatever happened this offseason...but not the Moss situation. That's what I'm trying to say. You seem to be just adding it to the pile because you want to. All you just posted is legit and fine. I was only commenting on your "oh well, I will still blame TT for the Moss fiasco" remark even thought you shouldn't.

Thats wrong. Of course he is to blame. We could have wrapped this thing up months ago when Green Bay was the only team in the Moss talks. What reason could there possibly be for us not getting this done as soon as possible. We waited and waited and now a real team stepped up to the plate. The Packers did nothing this offseason. We signed nobody and lost players and Moss saw that. If we would have maybe signed a safety and another guy, the Packers wouldnt look like such a dump and maybe Moss would want to be here. But we signed Frank Walker, big freaking deal. Why the hell would anyone want to come here??? And why would he want to come here instead of the Patriots.

Patriots are full of superstars and they added more this offseason. Adalius Thomas, Donte Stallworth, Wes Welker, tight end. That is a team that is actively trying to get better and make a superbowl. They know how to conduct business. TT and MM should go back to the minor leagues and stop fking up our team.

the patriots players werent superstars... weve covered this months ago. even years back now.

flapack...get with it.

the patriots werent stars, they were players like ted has brought in. they were 6th round draft pick flyers who turned into superstars with great contracts and the ability to stick around because we didnt sign a bunch of one and done Free agents. they were draft picks and what you bunch call "bodies" and "useless depth". they were put into a system and all bought into the coach...

now they own 3 rings.

Moss NEVER agreed to restructure his deal for GB - that's why we never pulled the trigger early on. Plus, Al didn't like the 3rd/4th round pick we were offering and wanted a 1 or 2.

So, all of you bashing TT for this must have been willing to pay the following:

1. Trade a second round choice to Oakland for Moss (that's what Al wanted prior to the draft).
2. Be fine with Moss making $9 mil against our cap for this season and next.

If you can honestly say you would do both 1 and 2 to get MOss, then you can blame TT. I personally think it would have been a big mistake to pay a 2nd and $9 million per for Moss (what kind of motivation would he have?). But maybe I am in the minority.

I would've offered our 1st and 2nd for Moss. At least then we MAY have been able to afford his 10 mill cap hit. :)

now they own 3 rings.

The Patriots own three rings because they had one terrible season and hit on a high first round pick in Richard Seymour, who is probably the best DT in the league (or if not, he's second) and is one of the top 10 or 15 players overall in the NFL and because they got extremely lucky in the 6th round on some kid named Brady. I don't care how good a coach anyone thinks Belichik is or how good a personnel man Pioli is, without Brady or Seymour, they have no rings.

Plus, if you think about it, there's a good chance Al would have taken our 2nd round pick offer to the other teams involved (NE) trying to get more before accepting. And, if Moss found out, he might have pulled a TO with Baltimore to get to NE.

I really don't see anyway that we could have done anything more than either raise the price for NE or pay a ton for Moss.

I was hoping for Moss in GB, and hoping that he wouldn't self destruct. Now that's he's in NE, I'm hoping that he does blow up. Either organization (BG or NE) has just as much chance of keeping him in line.

The Brady/Moss combination will be interesting to watch.

Plain and Simple...

Moss has had a career of having not-a-chance of the SB with his years in Minnesota and Oakland. With Brett having only another 1, 2, or 3 years left and then uncertainty at QB (the same situation he has seen the past 2 seasons with the Raiders), He only legitimately had a couple of guaranteed shots at the SB.

Even if you can break every record in the books, it is still about the ring. Look at Marino and Sanders. Sanders quit primarily because he did not realistically see the Lions as having a chance of the Bowl in the years he had left.

On paper, the Patriots are definitely the strong favorite to win it all next year. But .. That is why they actually play the games.

Patriots aren't stars huh. Tell that to Tom Brady, Adalius Thomas, Donte Stallworth, Randy Moss, and whoever the hell else they have.

Their arrogant way of signing backfired last year, and now they're making up for it with big stars coming to the NFL's marquee franchise.

This is on Ted Thompson. If you want somebody, you get him. He didn't. Favre wanted him, and he wasn't rewarded. With what Brett has done for us for 16 years, you'd think TT would at least reward him. Seems to me that he's trying to drive his *** out of Lambeau.

The PFT ***** pile should not be believed!! Thompson told **** Suzy at ESPN that there was "no truth to it" regarding rumors of a moss trade.

Who is speaking for Favre?? Why did PFT not quote the source?? Those jerks have been getting lies from some jerk using Brett's name. The same liar who spawned the whole Randy Moss hoax.

Shame on you Zero for falling for obvious lies from an unnamed source giving hearsay evidence embellished by the hateful people(lawyers) at PFT.com.
