Rest assured the Packers will go in hungry against them because of Parsons being a Packer. They'll feed off his energy that will be there to show Jones how dumb he was to give him to the enemy. Yes, the Cowboys and Packers have a rivalry that's stronger in context than we have with the Lions and possibly even the Vikings. Cowboy fans will never forget two years in a row in the 60s where Lombardi's Packers took them out on the last play of the game to move on to championships.

And Packer fans recall the 3 playoff losses in Dallas in the 90s as well. The Cowboys will forget their division for a while. MLF needs to dial up an offensive game plan with the Dallas secondary hurting. If Russell Wilson can put up big numbers there so should we. Aubrey is a great kicker especially indoors. I am rooting for the Bears to turn it up this week against the Boys. Do not give Dallas any more confidence than they need.

I am holding out at least some hope that the Bears will go 0-17. Not worried about how we'll fare against the Cowboys; Parsons will destroy that O-line, and if Dak has an ounce of sense, he'll call in sick that day. You can bet 9/28 is circled on Micah's calendar in neon green.

Yes. There was also a double on Micah. He beat it and Daniels threw under pressure. The pass went 30 yards to the right sideline and Xavier McKinney had inside position and high pointed the ball but dropped it. It was more he was trying to get both feet in bounds and the pass was a smidge wide.

The Packers will start to get more turnovers in the coming weeks in Defense. There’s been several occasions that were very close. You can feel it coming.

If Keisean and Valentine continue playing at a high level? There’s no weaknesses. I mean none.

Packers have what I’ll label a Quadrifecta.

Yeah, he doesn't have much to say unless the Bears win. It's about all he wants to talk about.

It's like what the say about offensive holding in general... that if the referees called holding every single time it happened, they'd be blowing down every single play and ruining the game. Parsons is on such an elevated level, the offense pretty much has no choice but to cheat on almost every snap, just in order to keep their quarterback out of the ICU. Refs probably figure they have to let a lot of it go just to keep the game competitive.

Which, I know, is not their role, but that's human nature. I may not like it, but I get that it happens.

My biggest concern right now is that our offensive line hasn't opened holes to get our RBs into the second level without getting hit. I think a lot of it has to do with the quality defenses we've played against to this point. We're facing a pretty decent defensive front 7 with the Browns too from what I gather so we might be waiting a while to see how they do against lesser lines. In the meantime, I'd bet They're working overtime in getting the offensive line to lower their pads on blocks to insure they can drive the defenders off the ball.

Very true. The Browns front 7 will hit the box to stop Barkley and will try to pressure Love with blitzes. Neither Burrows nor Jackson did much against them. Their 2 losses are due to their offense and special teams. What I fear the most is our penalties. We did well against Detroit but last Thursday we had 10. We cannot play this game behind the sticks. MLF must dial up a specific game plan for this. And being on the road we have to avoid the false starts and delay of game. A young team can look like a world beater one week but drop a dozen eggs the next.

The thing that gets me is Parsons likely has not peaked yet. Your second contract is normally your best performing period. Everyone is different, but generally speaking they traded away a player entering his prime years. I’m thankful though.

I truly believe our team was already going to take a small step forward without Micah. It’s even probable that we win both games without Micah. However what Parsons? He offers an instant ascension onto the next plateau. We are now easily a Top 3 ranked team. We will know better after we win a few. Jordan smoothing things out on Offense will be a key to how high we fly.

I think that's true about Parsons. He's just reaching his prime. Over the next three years he's going to more than likely be the best player he can possibly be. This will be his Hall of Fame years if it happens. That should/probably will include a Super Bowl ring and a Defensive Player of Year award. He's at that age right now.

Those who say this reminds them a lot of the signing of Reggie White, I can see their comparison and reason. It could have the same effect with a Lombardi trophy. I sure hope so.

Good for you GBS. Humility is good for the soul.

But I'm guessing everyone had some doubt when first hearing of the deal. I certainly did. IMO, trading away draft top picks is seldom worth it. That doesn't seem to be the case here. Parsons has actually upped his game since coming from Dallas (although that's not a huge surprise).

Now, I'm sure I made at least one negative comment on whether or not it was a good deal for the Pack and it was probably something about the rep attached to Parsons' locker-room-guy rep. That's usually my go-to snipe with overpaid superstars (they all are, relatively speaking) and if I did, I will tentatively retract that but reserve my right to use it again at a later, undetermined date if the situation calls for it.

His impact on this defense cannot be questioned thus far.

Turns out GB is the place where great, under-appreciated players go to thrive. It's not always true, but Jacobs, McKinney, and now Parsons fit in that category.

The Cowboys have not had a good record against us over the last 25 years, particularly in the Rodgers era. And that playoff loss in 2023 was embarrassing. We should be less concerned about the reaction to Parsons and more about winn8ng the game.

Yeah, very true. The fan reaction to Parsons' return will be interesting, but it comes second to winning the game.

Hell the Boys gave Philly all they could handle. Not saying the Boys are very good, but it's ripe for an upset if players lose focus.
