I'm kind of impressed by your Nicola Sturgeon. Can the U.S. borrow her for a while? ;)
You know of the Sturge? She's our first Minister and quite formidable. Easily better than the two muppets going for the White House. ;)

Yeah, that didn't just turn political. C'mon guys, politics will only divide us, not strengthen us. We talk some great football and other non-political things. Let's completely leave any politics out of our discussions, and even tho I have my own political stances, I don't allow it on my Football posts or Fantasy Football League. Let's keep it out of here or you know it'll get ugly and that's not what's needed here. Can't we all agree on that? One thing?

You are correct. We do have a thread in the Packerforums where regular discussion of politics can take place. Heck, I was just trying to make one comment to be friendly to our resident Scots. My apologies for being inconsiderate.

The comment itself isn't the issue, it's that it very very quickly becomes a political argument.

how can you be impressed of a woman named after a fish??

i'm not a political person in all honesty, as i really don't trust our politicians and feel they're all just in it for themselves. what political views i do have would probably have me labelled a ****** in the old USofA:roflmao:

Yeah, I thought so, it's just a filler until you've got a better opportunity. But the "self employed" thing is ************ as we all know, at least if you're depending on one company. It's the same thing over here when you're becoming a DLH or DPD courier for example. But nowadays even truck drivers that are driving for big logistics companies are "self employed" and have to bring their own truck to do their job
However, I keep my fingers crossed for the "driving instructor project", this sounds like fun...depending on your learner drivers of course :D
we get the same money per day, regardless of how many parcels we deliver or hours we work, but then we have to pay the logistics firm weekly for van "rental". but it's money coming in, which is the main thing

Itkovian and I were at Lambeau in December one year. Now THAT was cold. I fortunately took the advice of the folks on this forum when I prepared for the game. But even then, with all the layers and right clothing, it still got pretty darn cold.

i think with my mum being a glenlivet lass, and it being rather colder out there during winters, i've inherited a bit more resistance to cold. but when i do get cold, damn do i feel it, i remember getting mild frostbite when i was a kid playing in the snow.

plus i'm hairy and overweight, they help wth the cold:D:D

That weekend got so cold, even my Jeep admitted it; look what it says on the radiator!

I love cold weather. The heat bothers me a lot. I know it sounds strange given I lived in Vegas for 15 years. I suffered through some hot summers. I think I'll be back in Germany in February/March'ish. Will be nice to have some proper nice weather again. Its so hot in Florida still. About +28... in late October.

And I love to do it the other way round, especially in winter. As you know I have travelled CA and AZ in March several times to escape the dark, cold and wet weather here in Germany.
But the the grass is always greener on the other side - I think living in AZ or FL and having sunshine and + 28 degrees and more almost 365 days a year might get boring after a while.

Hmmm.....hair isn't something that I can rely on helping me against cold weather. :cautious::D
