Amish's buggy must have broken an axle with all the weight of prizes he collected. I'm hereby starting this by proxy, authority vested in me from a moderator.

How it works:

Supply 20 names of players and the round the Packers may take them.

Rules:
  • Select a total of 20 Players
  • Pick at least 1 player per round
  • List their name and position.
  • Thread gets locked when 1st pick is on the clock

Correct Player: 3 pts
Correct Player in Correct Round: 3 PLUS the round number pts

Therefore if you go:

Round-Player
1 - Bob wr
1 - Mack pk
2 - Steve te
2 - Ed olb
3 – Chuck wr
4 - Marty s
5 - Pete s

And the Packers draft Ed in the 3rd and Pete in the 5th, your points would be:

Ed (correct player) 3 pts
Pete (correct Player in Round 5) 3 + 5 = 8 pts
11 pts total

Have at it!

The last time I saw Amish, he was in a Buggy heading out of the Ukraine towards Moscow and he looked pissed. He told me to carry on with the draft if he didn't make it back.

So as a salute to Amish, with the honorary first pick in the 2022 NFL draft, the Green Bay Packers select...

Mr. official!! Packers don't have a 6th round pick. Do I still need to take one there?
This question also saves my first page slot.
1. Wyatt - DL - Georgia
2. Pearce - WR - Cincinnati

sounds like a good idea. He doesn't win though does he?

According to the rules yes, but I'd maybe only predict one....Gute trades alot, there's a chance we end up with one...

The answer is yes. You must have an entry for each round. This prevents people from picking 20 guys all in round 1.

Welcome aboard JD. You need to designate one of your draftees for the 6th round. Rules are all rounds must be represented. Please edit your original list.
Thanks

Interesting report. Makes sense, the Seahawks have pick 40 and 41 in the second round. I doubt the Packers can get them to part with both, but maybe the 40th this season and their 2023 2nd rounder for Packers 28th pick? Or the Packers get #40 and #72?

What would that trade be? One of their seconds and their third for pick 28? We would probably have to throw one of our lower picks in there. I might be apt to take that deal. We could do a lot of damage with three seconds and two thirds.

Closest (per trade value chart) would be:
GB's: #28, #140 & #171 (719 pts) for
Sea's: #41 & #72 (720 pts)

I'd love this (or similar) trade if it happens.

I would insist that Seattle throw in their 7th round pick both in 22 and 23.

Imo, if you're trading out of the 1st round, the team trading into it needs to lose at least 1 net pick. They need to pay more for that 1st rounder.

Agree. The 5th year, especially on a QB, can be very valuable. I'd actually prefer they get a 2nd in 2022 and a 2nd in 2023 for that #28 pick. I don't expect the Seahawks to be all that good in 2022, so the 2023 pick might be in the 30's.

Another thought, if the Packers REALLY like someone at Seattle's #9 spot, trade the 22nd and 28th picks for #9 and #41. That allows the Seahawks the chance to get the QB they want and a decent player.
