I'm going to end my simulations with these 2. The first one, I controlled the Packer picks. The 2nd, I let the program pick....boy Packer fans would literally crap their pants if that second one happened!

What would happen if we selected all the QB’s after the first 2 went off the board. Go Exclusively QB and just monopolized the entire market.

Even trade future picks to get them all!

Then use them to trade for established veterans!
I’m sorry. I’ve been watching too much Chumley from Pawn Stars

This is a perfect example of the uselessness of these computer generated mocks. When you are picking for the Packers the computer is making unrealistic picks for 31 other teams not just one team per your example. With that said I do a lot of these mocks. They are fun.

Agree.....I like mixing it up with different simulators. Letting the computer pick is almost how I feel on draft night though....since I have zero control.

This was a pretty funny "mock".

Oh hell, if we did that, some posters would still say Love was the worst pick ever. ;)

I will vehemently oppose a trade up in the first unless all it costs us is a Day 3 which would mean it was a spot or two slide up...trading up in the first for anything other than a QB I will forever think is DUMB if it costs more than a Day 3 to do so IMO.
Well it’s not always that simple.
Such as If we had an option to get Garrett Wilson with 22, 92.
I’d take that trade.

While I understand losing a Day 2 selection seems harsh (and on surface I’d agree).
Because it’s not a dead end. we can perfect other trades to recoup that 3rd if we wanted. Such as moving back from 28 into early round 2

Meaning It eventually comes down to is that player worth the value of those combined selections.
At 17-18 valued selection overall is Garrett worth it? Yes that’s a bargain imo. In reality, He’s probably gone by Washington’s pick but stranger things have happened. Aaron Rodgers should’ve never skipped past teens.

Like you though. I’d prefer we trade up only that far max (17-18) and really think we should just stay easy and steady.
No stupid reaches.
Id really like to trust the draft to come to us.. we’ve plenty firepower and shouldn’t flinch. Unless there’s a player we have Pegged in just stupid slippage. Karlaftis at a 26 trade up absolutely.

I agree with # 11 the most and disagree with #20 the most. Big Ben is gone.

Looks like PackFan2 and Schultz were the stars of this show. My unofficial tally has PackFan2 with 31 points and Schultz with 26 points. I'm pretty sure that PackFan2 has set a new contest record. That's an outrageous number and leads me to believe that anyone hitting four of them in the correct round is camped out in the Packers warroom staring at Gutekunst's board.

I came close. I think PackFan2 only beat me by 31 points. Wait'll next year! I've got his number!
Lol, yes I think you win the dunce cap, hitting a big doughnut like that.

Thanks Pike Badger for coming in and running things for Amish. I think he will be thankful that you are paying out the cash rewards this year. At $100 per point scored for the top 5, that is some serious cash prizes this year! :coffee: I hope you at least broke even.

Thank you! I did learn a lesson though. This is the last time my cat, Elmer, is going to be allowed to make the picks. Apparently he only chose those he thought might carry cat nip in their pockets.

Yes! Thanks for the running the contest. Not everyone is willing to put forth the effort to do things for everyone. It's appreciated. Even when you insult me after I bare my soul!

(Clearing through..) I would like to congratulate all those I helped to win through my own personal inadequacies.
You each owe me one! (Except @Voyageur you made me look like a champ thanks!)

Seriously though congrats @PackFan2 very nice there.
If you need to someone to hold your 2022 trophy?

Thanks! I think I hit on:

D. Wyatt (3+1)
Z. Tom (3+4)
S. Toure (3+7)
T. Carpenter (3+7)
R. Walker (3) = 34.

Almost nailed the whole Packers draft. Thought another team was gonna draft Watson b4 Packers' pick in the second. Swapped out Rhyan for Lucas at the last min. :(

Thanks, everyone. I love this tradition we have. Let's hope the guys we got are also hits!

You bring up a good point. Many of us did pretty decent or better. That tells me Gute kinda went the direction us experts ;) thought they should. When when I saw missed throughout? We still we’re picking alternate types to the actual.

We got a good mix of positional needs met. we stayed relatively put except at #34 to get our greatest need. Yet we picked 4 times in the 7th, right where we needed depth and ST help. Very smart drafting in being overall patient imo.
Slow and steady, for the most part, the draft fell into our lap.

PS. There’s always some guys who are 4-6th rounders who slip into the 7th round (or PUDFA) an area if we miss? It’s not much of a loss, no sweat
