It was a shame, a crime really, that for all his loyalty that he was benched so much during his final year.
He still had it.
I realize that the coaches wanted to move on with the younger receivers but to be giving our best one the shaft like that was so very, very wrong.

I'm surprised to see that he still has a house in GB.
He retired to Texas, didn't he?
I wonder how often DD comes back to GB.

It didn't seem to me they did much with him but use him for diversion as they groomed their newer WR's.

In 2011 season was targeted 56 times.

DD hung it up after the 2012 season having started 13 games and was targeted 13 times...

His targets were on a steady decline starting from 2006 onward.

His Catch percentage stayed pretty steady throughout that period.

His yards per reception did not dip appreciably until his final year.

And, yes. DD still had it.

I guess sometimes the boss thinks a new broom sweeps better than an old one...

And it was a shame.

I think Driver should have retired after the Super Bowl win. He hung around too long.
