Packers are visiting with a bunch of the TE's, which shouldn't be a surprise.

This WR class is better than I thought it was going to be. OL and DL very good. RB is not so great. Holyfield ran a freaking 4.8, he's off the board completely. That's awful.

My boy Travis Homer tested well though, gotta like that.

Oh and Mecole Hardman put up 17 reps at 184 lbs. Doesn't mean a lot, but it's really impressive.

Hakeem Butler is a freak. DK Metcalf is a freak, but if that body fat % is real, he's a walking injury.

I'm excited to see the WR's run tomorrow, especially Deebo, Campbell, and Isabella. I think we come away with one of those three.

This is my sense right now for the 2019 draft class:

Bad: LB

Below Average: QB, RB, CB

Average: S

Good: WR, DL, ED

Great: OL, TE

Oh. And check out my main man Garret Bradbury. I still think he could play OG, just not as well as he plays C. He's a stud.

Erik McCoy is really good too.

And I really, really like Nate Davis as a day 3 pick.

Chris Lindstrom man... 6'4" 308 lbs, 34" arms, 4.91 forty (10 yd split was really good), 7.61 3C, 4.54 SS.

I was surprised Devin White only came in at 237.

Size wise, he's about the same as Devin Bush. Considering that I think White will go almost a full round sooner than Bush, I would rather have Bush.

White is more explosive than Bush, but Bush is a more fundamentally sound linebacker and does not lack for movement skills either.

Andre Dillard and Chris Lindstrom are two of my favorite OL in this class for the Packers because of their plus plus movement skills. Both backed up the athleticism that they demonstrated on tape today. They should be in the discussion at #12 and 30/44 respectively.

Justice Hill surprised me with a 4.40 today. He's my perfect size at 5"10. Would like if he added about 7-10 more lbs of muscle. Bench I believe was 21 reps I believe, and he's a Day 3 pick.

Some notable short shuttle results, which is perhaps the single best indicator of movement skills in OL:
  • Andre Dillard, WSU: 4.40
  • Yosh Nijman, VTU: 4.50
  • Mitch Hyatt, CLEM: 4.52
  • Dalton Risner, KSU: 4.52
  • Ryan Bates, PSU: 4.53
  • Garrett Bradbury, NCSU: 4.53
  • Hjalte Froholdt, ARK: 4.54
  • Chris Lindstrom, BC: 4.54
  • Connor McGovern, PSU: 4.57
  • Kaleb McGary, UW: 4.58
Dillard is a freakshow.

Hyatt would be a good middle round investment as a tackle > guard convert.

It's great to see the movement skills from Risner-- he's one I really wanted to see.

Bradbury and Lindstrom are just confirming what they've shown on tape.

McGovern and McGary are interesting in that both have been dinged a bit for athleticism. I haven't actually watched either of them.

I'd rather have Germaine Pratt.

After watching these RB's I wouldn't take any in the 1st round.

I'll stick with taking LJ Scott on day 3. Big, athletic, can get yards after contact. You can play him on 3rd down too as he is a good route runner and can catch. Great 3rd day value.

He'd be a great fit but he is going day 2. Packers would be lucky to get him in 3rd.

Would love to see these two drafted by the packers in round 1. Would stabilize the OL for years.

Also noticing the Badger Linemen are not doing all that well, with average-to-poor results in the combine testing. Coming across as big dudes, but mostly non-athletic, with noticeably low agility and bench press numbers. This actually does not surprise me - they were very highly touted at the start of the 2018 season, but underperformed most of the year. Turns out perhaps they just weren't as good as we thought...

My guess is Benzschawel goes in the 3rd or 4th and Deiter and Edwards later. Not interested in any of them really for the packers.

Without trying to sound too much like a Badger Homer, I look around the NFL and see a lot of former Badger O-Lineman who have excelled. I know people get excited about combine numbers, but I get more excited about what they can do on the field. I hope these 3 guys do get passed over and the Packers can steal at least one of them.

As far as under performing in 2018? May want to look up the results first. ;)
