There's a difference between "taking value into account before need" and ignoring a glaring need in both free agency and the early rounds of the draft.There's not much to make sense of. TT takes value into account before need. Therefore, the guys he picked were better players to TT than the ILBs.
I hope you're right and I hope he's right, but am I comfortable relying on a late round gamble starting at ILB from day one? Not one bitIt's also possible TT has his eye on a late round ILB he thinks could be a steal.
I heard the Patriots were interested at 32 as wellTT definitly has a different board than most people.
Although, Randall was thought to go at 20 to the Eagles by an ESPN analyst and Kiper had him ranked at 31.
