    He wanted there last year..

    Recall the if I can't play for you, let me play against you comment Brett made?

    He claimed this past Feb that he was done, this retirement was for real, no doubt in his mind..Then asks 2 times for a release and as soon as he is released the talk of him going to Minny starts..

    My guess this is what happened last year.

    He was told he wouldnt play anymore in GB..He said fine, release me so I can play for Minnesota, they said no way in hell..

    I firmly believe that is exactly what happened..

    now he gets his chance
