Don't be afraid to listen to the 18 minute conference call with Koren and some reporters. Pretty interesting.
transcript Few things, he is willing to do what ever it takes, even a 4th wr..( but I think he will be able to push Martin from that right away) As we were told here by his friend and partner, it was Sunday he was informed And he is motivated by what Brett said about him and to him
Re: Koren has been reinstated!!!! *UNCONFIRMED* Thanks for the answer packerman. It is great to have a true friend through thick and thin. You said "But things happen in life for whatever reason" and you are correct. Koren Robinson is an alcoholic. And maybe that is one of the reasons why Favre feels toward him as he does, Favre is an alcoholic. And perhaps that is why I empathize with him also. I too am an alcoholic. What turns someone into an alcoholic? Biological...Emotional....Psychological...Addictive Personality, maybe all of them, I don't know. In my opinion, only another person has has gone through this can truly understand. Friends and family can do incredible things to help, but it is up to the individual themselves to truly change... They have to want it above everything else, because without dealing with it there is nothing else, no family, no friends, no future..and no life. Maybe what happened to Koren in Minnesota was a "blessing in disguise" Every alcoholic has to hit some sort of "rock bottom" in their own way. While Robinson was in Seattle, Mike Holmgren said that it made him sad and he prayed for Robinson. So, this is one Vikings Fan that is truly pulling for Koren Robinson! (except for 60 minutes, twice a year)
Re: Koren has been reinstated!!!! *UNCONFIRMED* Everyone has some sort of demand in their past or even in their present, if its alcoholism, drugs, depression etc..its what we do to make it better is what counts. Its hard in this screwed up world not to have something. Me I had anxiety attacks and if I told you guys how I got them most would laugh cause the story is funny. I can say now that I dont have them and I am off the medication and I am fine. My hat goes off to KRob for getting his life back on track, it probably means so much for him to be talking to Brett. Brett has also went through rehab for prescription drugs so knows what KRob was going through. Its always nice to talk to someone whose been there. Glad Brett was there for him. That is why I always have an ear for anyone who ever wants to talk to me. If I can make a difference I sure will try. Sometimes I feel like I have "talk to me" stamped on my forehead because people just automatically talk to me, which I love. Most will say to me "your not from CA are you"? LOL...I say NOPE! Having KRob on our team will only make us stronger..I am so excited...GO PACK!!
What are you guys going to do when I leave? Silly people!! http://www.packers.com/audio/2007/071017korenedit.ram
I haven't fully decided, but all things considered, I should really focus on my site instead of Ryan's lol Anyhow, we haev Koren back, that's the important thing here! w00t I can't wait til Madden updates the Packers roster.
I can't wait for Madden 08 rosters to be updated too... Bigby will be a STUD on that game. As well as K-Rob i'm sure.
Packers Granted a 2 Week Roster Exemption Looks like the NFL granted GB two weeks to evaluate KRob. I don't think it will take nearly that long to bring him on board, but it's nice to have the time to let him get back up to speed.
