Yesssssss! I wanted Mixon too and I firmly belive if it werent for Dinasour Ted we would have him. Sources came out that Packer scouts loved Mixon. Mixon btw has been a role model citizen in Cinncy.

Could you imagine Adams, Sutton, Graham, Cobb and Mixon out there with AR12. The NFL would have to change the rules. Lol. We really wouldnt even need a FG kicker. ****, we could even go for 2 everytime.
Right... lol I’m over the whole mixon thing I really really like Aaron jones tho... Rodgers likes him too he just needs to get pass protection down.. but Williams is a power runner too they are gonna be good as long as they stay healthy.. they only thing that matters is to keep Rodgers healthy so they need to protect him no chance that Quenton Nelson fell to Green Bay.. but if he did they would have to take him u know.. I know it’s not happening but u catch my drift.. I think they are gonna make some moves in the early rounds

I would be about as shocked that Sutton makes it to 2nd round as Saquon Barkley making it to 14.

I really dont see him getting past Dallas. They know his value. He is a bigger Dez without the head case issues.
He reminds me of Calvin watching him.. speaking of which Rodgers should call Calvin Johnson up and be like bro... come on u want that ring... just imagine that offense lol jimmy and Johnson jumping up.. it wouldnt be fair..

Not here to rustle any jim jims, but I'd still pass in Sutton on the second. If only for this lengthy multiple paged discussion. bye

Landry in the 1st and DJ Moore in the 2nd round would be a great start to the draft for GB if it fell that way. Unless somebody unexpected falls to #14, like Minkah Fitzpatrick or Denzel Ward.

I agree that it’s unlikely that Sutton gets to #45 after his combine.

Most of the new mocks have some pretty good players being available at 14. I am going to have to go with my gut which is telling me that Gute is going to be the real deal and draft someone that is going to be a very good player for us for years. Personally I am partial to having a dominant middle linebacker; but I am going to trust that we will have a very good draft throughout that is going to improve the team.

Vita Vea is coming in for a visit.

Can we be proper lads and call him by his full name, Tevita Tuliakiono Tuipuloto Mosese Va'hae Faletau Vea? Thank you.

Edit: Super late to this joke and I apologize to the entire board. I'll make sure to read all the comments in the future before posting. I'll put myself in the corner now.

We should probly draft Shaquiem Griffin too.. if he had two hands he would be first round all day but man he is probly still better than anyone on the defense for the packers and he only has 1 hand..

All we can do is pray for a QB frenzy in the top 10. Though I have no idea why teams are not just waiting for Jake Fromm. That’s what I would be doing, I think most of these QBs are grossly overrated. I like Josh Allen the best because he reminds me of Jared Goff, but in no way was Jared Goff a week 1 started. Leave us with the best defensive player possible and I’m thrilled.

Weve been gambling on defensive picks in the first round for so long now. In fact I advocated for an offensive pick in the 1st round last year and was told well get that "next year" by several people. 4 straight defensive picks rounds 1-4 and we have the same damn peanut gallery pounding the table for more of the same this year. Its amazing. Its like trying to take heroin away from a heroin addict. Geez. We should have an elite defense by now with all these picks and instead its garbage. Two of the more recent 1st round picks arent even on the team anymore. This is just bad and now the offense is starting to show some cracks. All these mid-late round receivers havent panned out and our best two options to replace Jordy are two UDFA's

Now I know we all have our favs in this draft. Everyone knows who mine is but its more then that i just think he is a great prospect and that he will be a no.1 receiver in the right scheme such as ours. Jordy is gone and Rodgers is 34. The chances of lading a top flight receiver in free agency in the next year or two isnt good when you see how much $ there comdanding on the open market. We need to get a guy NOW to develop with Rodgers for the back half of his career. This simply cant be pushed under the rug any longer. If the Packers do then as much as I love watching Rodgers play in Green and Gold I would advocate for him to leave because he doesnt deserve this. He has basically covered up this heroin junkie approach on defense far to long.

Lastly I see DJ Moore popping up a lot and while I do like him as a prospect he is a 2 at best. He might even be better suited for the slot. He is kind of what I envisioned with Parris Campbell but not as fast as Campbell. I dont like 6'0 receivers outside in this offense. He is quick twitch and IMO would be a slight upgrade over Ty Montgomery.

Greg Jennings struggled highly at 5'11 in this offense while playing outside.

Just saying thats a lot of chips to pile on the table for a 6'0 receiver. I like him and think he could be used and showcased certain ways to open some things up for sure.

Now if were talking about a guy to potentially replace Nelson I dont see it. I don't see any backshoulder possibilities. I see a guy that can be used in the middle of the field that would be an upgrade over Cobb and maybe some bubble screens.

I don't disagree with you on Moore.

I think he can win on the outside, but plays best in the slot. He's not a #1 option. I wouldn't take him in the first.

Similar to a Golden Tate type player.

If the Packers love him as much as I do then I would take him at 14 and get it over with. I have a real hard time believing no receievers are gonna make it to the 2nd round because so many teams need them. I mean look at what they got paid in free agency and none of those guys had elite stats.

Contrary to what some people think here I dont have tunnel vision in regards to this matter. If a propect like Derwin James is sitting there at 14 then they should take James because I believe he is a game changing safety that fits a need and can be used a variety of ways.

As posted I like the scenario where we trade back a couple picks and grab Sutton and add to our warchest of picks to maneuver and address defensive needs but sometimes you can get to cute with it and lose the guy you love.

The one thing im certain of and id be willing to wager is that Sutton isnt making it to 45.
