Not so much being cut, but Sterling Sharpe having to retire due to his injured neck. The guy is easily in the Top 3 all-time best recievers in Packers history behind Hutson and James Lofton, and probably would've won a SB in '96 with the Packers.

I think with Sharpe, there's a good chance we would have won that 2nd one (well, 4th, but you know what I mean). Sterling would have showed up his little brother.

Sterling would have easily lasted until 2000 or longer. He was tough as nails.

Yes, the Packers could have treated Reggie a lot better. Apparently Reggie's wife hasn't forgiven the Packers yet. Sad ending to a marvelous story.

I had no idea. I thought he retired on a good note. That's really sad. I loved Reggie.
