I’m hoping for a complete game out of the offense today. If the defense continues to play well, the Pack should come out with a victory.

Can’t take the Broncos for granted, though.

Looks like there is a good chance for thunderstorms come game time. That would certainly be interesting.

If it rains too hard, it can be difficult to see everything that is happening in a game.

For example, if defenders slip on the wet grass, it can create the illusion that Jimmy Graham is blocking.

Thanks.

Enjoyed a three weeks holiday :)

Welcome back!

I've said several rude things about Pro Football Focus in your absence.

I am counting on you to dig them all up. Consider it like an Easter egg hunt.

But instead of jelly beans, inside each one you will find the incoherent ramblings of a rando who spends too much time on football forums.

Denver's RT Ja'Wuan James remains out with a knee injury.

LT Garett Bolles has been flagged for five holding calls in two games, four last week against the Bears, two declined. Elway called him out in a radio interview. RG Ron Leary also got dinged for two holding calls against the Bears.

Denver moved the ball against the Bears with 27 first downs on an effective short passing game and the run, but shot themselves in the foot with penalties. 40 of Flaco's 56 completions over two games have been for 10 yards or less.

https://www.espn.com/nfl/team/_/name/den/denver-broncos

Denver's one turnover in two games came on a Flaco INT on 3rd. and goal at the Chicago 2 yard line in the 4th. quarter. Ouch. Chicago had to move the ball 40 yards in 30 seconds for the winning 53 yard FG with no time on the clock for the win.

Fangio's defense has produced no turnovers, no sacks, and only two QB hits over two games, both by Chubb against Chicago.

Weeks 3-4 are where the teams' characters start to emerge, where the bad stuff gets cleaned up or they continue down the slippery slope.

Unfortunately I'm way too lazy to read what has been posted in my absence, so you will have to continue to put stuff out there for me to reply to.

Just admit it. You were afraid he went into early retirement and were baiting him out. ;)

Welcome back Captain. The Packers are 2-0 in your absence, I don't want to jinx anything but if for some reason they lose today, do you know about the Witness Protection Program? ;)

I live several thousand miles away from most of you, so I'm not too worried about any of you ;)

  • CB Bryce Callahan (foot)
  • T Ja'Wuan James (knee)

I'm still scratching my head over the Pankey signing, staying 5 deep at OG.

Callahan was a pretty decent slot corner for the Bears. Ended last season on IR with a foot fracture. He hasn't played this season with what is described as a foot injury. Denver signed him to a 3 year / $21 mil deal. Harris will probably see duty against Adams. Let's see if Allison finally gets going against against their #2 slot.

Rodgers off target so far. Has missed a couple throws high that he normally makes. Needs to relax and set his feet a little bit.

Bit too much heat on both over throws.

Shame.

Need another 4 and out.

Broncos are all set up for a licking, if the offence can just click.

Amos playing hybrid ILB, something I expected to see at some point this season.
