Wow, I just read the very same thing someplace else. I'd get rid of every single player/coach that was involved in that mutiny. And I'd do it in the locker room in front of all their teammates. Drop those chumps off at the greyhound bus depot in Green Bay.
and then make a free agent on every one of them to come to green bay as they would all be better than what this current secondary has.

Sounds like Rhodes is the main guy to blame for this. He thought he was smarter and said something on the NFL.com link about.

To quote him he said about covering Jordy:

"Us as DBs felt like we could handle him. That's how we felt as DBs that we could stay on our side and cover him. In the beginning, we'd always played against them and played our sides, so that's what we as DBs went with."

Hmmm ... think your smarter than your HC huh? Well ... those 145 yards and 2 TDs really sting don't they bro?

This story makes so little sense. Why didn't Zim bench the guys when he noticed? Or when jordy started going crazy? Zim is supposed to be a corner guru. Why would the guys turn on him?

Very weird. Why didn't he correct this immediately instead of fuming all the way to the locker room at the half before doing it. Db coach should be fired Monday and Rhodes should be inactive next week and his locker should have been packed up before the flight touched ground this afternoon. He clearly can come back next year but you need to give him a kick in the *** for that nonsense.

Seriously? Why would you want uncoachable a-holes like this in your locker room? By my thinking, Rhodes has effectively blacklisted himself out of the NFL. I was very serious when I said he would have been off the team before the guys left the stadium. Why would any organization put up with this kind of behavior?

You have more tolerance for Rhodes than I would. That guy is poison. Immediate release. Looks like the house of purple needs a thorough cleansing.

I can't say I remember hearing him do anything else aside from this. He is a productive 1st rd pick at a premium position. He needs to learn a lesson before eating all that potential and value he has. If you really can't go forward with him then let things cool off and trade him before the draft.

Because the guy is a top 5 corner....you don't think NFL organizations put up with primadonnas? They effectively do. In this case, it needs to be dealt with effectively, but outright release is a bit harsh to start with.

Depends on who is in charge. Letting a 3rd year CB, coach your team is totally unacceptable. Screw Rhodes, your 7-8 with him. Get control of your team. Get rid of him and Newman but not before you verbally chastise and harangue both of those clowns in front of the entire team.

Of course he's smarter than the coach. He got voted in to his first Pro Bowl literally days ago.

I believe Newman was the whistleblower on this thing, and sounded like even though he was trying to bury the whole thing under the rug, he wanted to do on Jordy what Rhodes refused to do. Not sure he's the problem maker here.

Well this didn't happen by Rhodes alone. Someone else had to be in on it.
