Yeah older vet receivers like him rarely if ever serve in the return guy capacity. I'm sticking with the 6 WR prediction.

Meantime ....

Cutdowns have commenced and Silverstein has his live blog up covering them.

No surprise there....he really was a disappointment.

We've discussed him a lot and I know you know but I believe that is harsh. His floor is adaquately high but his ceiling is nearly the same as his floor I feel. He is the perfect guy to have on a PS, call upon if needed that will churn out 3-4 yards a carry, be okay on pass protection and such....NOT an active roster guy.

He has never looked all that good to me and that is just in preseason. If you are expecting him to pick up 3-4 yds a carry, I think your expectations are too high. On 7 career carries he has averaged 2.7 yds and has no receptions. He has had plenty of time to try and improve. I'll be much happier if Taylor is put on the PS and Juice finds a job with another team.

I'd never argue keep him over Taylor as I've said, I think Taylor's ceiling is higher for certain.

Well, JK Scott is toast. Packers acquired Corey Bojorquez from the Rams.
Love this. Bojorquez consistently impressed during training camp and the preseason, eventually starring in the finale against the Broncos in Denver: a 70-yard punt, a 67-yard punt, and two punts that pinned the Broncos at their one 1-yard line.

His 3 years of Stats are pretty impressive too.

Now I am just waiting for someone to suggest the idea of trading JK Scott...for a 2nd round pick :roflmao:

Obviously there will be some more churn, as there always is, but do I have this right?

Initial 53:

QB (2): Rodgers, Love

RB (3): Jones, Dillon, Hill

TE (4): Tonyan, Lewis, Deguara, Dafney

WR (6): Adams, Valdes-Scantling, Lazard, Cobb, Rodgers, Taylor

OL (9): Jenkins, Patrick, Myers, Newman, Turner, Runyan, Nijman, Kelly, Hanson

DL (6): Clark, Lowry, Keke, Slaton, Lancaster, Heflin

ED (5): Smith, Smith, Gary, Garvin, Rivers

LB (5): Barnes, Campbell, Burks, Summers, McDuffie

CB (6): Alexander, Stokes, King, Sullivan, Jean-Charles, Yiadom

S (4): Amos, Savage, Scott, Black

ST (3): Crosby, Bojorquez, Bradley

Yup but technically Bojorquez I don’t believe is on roster yet. So we sit at 52 Presently

Rams punting comp. Hekker vs Bojorquez. Hekker is the presumed starter but Bojorquez did very well last year. Bojorquez also had votes for All-Pro team lost out to Jack Fox (Lions).

Either one would be an upgrade to JK Scott.
Called it. Happy to see Bojorquez on our team!:ninja:
