Verba's at it again.... and just beggin' for a cement overcoat if he keeps messin' with '*****'.

I remember his rookie year. The guy was all attitude ... then he met some woman who 'converted' him and it appears that conversion didn't take too well.

I hope the guy gets some help.

Me neither ... but I'm a cheap assed banker too, ya know? I've stuck a grand total of $2, in my lifetime, into a slot machine. I don't understand how folks would want to just 'give it away' ... but then again ... others don't understand why I like to smoke a cig when I'm workin' out in my garage (my safe haven, where I'm surrounded by the power tools I love so much)

Me too, although I do bet on NFL football because it's so easy. It's a nice method of subsidizing my salary.

Gambling for entertainment is one thing, Gambling out of addiction is just sad. I've seen guys in elevators in Vegas crying several times.

I won a Grand at blackjack one time. Took all day at the $5 table, but I it was a great feeling on the plane trip home. I never really won big again, and have no desire to gamble at all now that I'm older with a family. I can see how it could get addictive though if you have easy access to it and you have that type of personality.

Verba will probably end up homeless.
