Quarterfinal draw is complete.

PSG - Barcelona
Atletico Madrid - Real Madrid
FC Porto - FC Bayern
Juventus - Monaco

They look like four games that will be very entertaining to watch. That was a good draw. The first two on your list look especially good. Those are going to be real donnybrooks. :tup:

The great thing about winning so many matches in all competitions is winning. But it takes a toll on a team that has to play all the time.

As odd as it seems, I DO believe the Spanish referees have an anti-German prejudice. I think they are corrupt. Certainly Bayern did not live up to expectations today. But the Ref allowed Lewandowski to be pulled down in the box, repeatedly, without a whistle, while if a shoestring of Porto was touched by an FCB player, he blew the whistle. It seems very prejudiced. Spanish refs seem to always give Bayern a hard time.

Europa League tonight. Quite remarkable that Fiorentina is playing without a single Italian player in their starting
eleven. :eek::rolleyes:

22nd minute, 2-0 Bayern. Game over for Porto though there are still 68 minutes to play. I expect Bayern to score at least two more goals.

Edit: 3-0 :eek:

Is there a fundamental difference in how the referees from the varying nations view the game? That English ref allowed play to go on, but he didn't put up with much diving, which Porto did a lot in the first leg. He even carded the one Porto player for "simulation". It seems most of the German refs let a lot of contact go on, while the Spanish dude basically ran with a whistle ready.
