Jan 21, 2015 at 8:24 PM - Sunshine885500: Prayers to MM and his Family.
Jan 21, 2015 at 9:18 PM - longtimefan: phill sims was perfectly fine with kicking fg in 1st q
Jan 22, 2015 at 9:12 AM - buggybill2003: just wondering the timing. Is it possible that the news reached him while the game was being played ?
Jan 22, 2015 at 9:51 AM - Twiddlemylobes: Sounds like it was yesterday Buggs
Jan 22, 2015 at 10:06 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: I don't care much for Sims personally
Jan 22, 2015 at 10:10 AM - Twiddlemylobes: I'd like to see changed on special teams. I'm not sure the intricacies of that unit. But in my estimation we have ranked too low too long.
Jan 22, 2015 at 10:15 AM - Twiddlemylobes: Id like to offer that I am glad that we didn't win the Seattle game. MM can spend time with his family now. This was a blessing
Jan 22, 2015 at 10:16 AM - 7thFloorRA: He absolutely needs to go but this guys is a 25 yr friend of MM so we shall see if he can actually do it
Jan 22, 2015 at 10:16 AM - 7thFloorRA: ,.']\
Jan 22, 2015 at 10:16 AM - 7thFloorRA: |||||||\\\\\\\\\\\\/;]/.
Jan 22, 2015 at 10:17 AM - Twiddlemylobes: We're fine. We're better than fine. We're family and nobody but nobody can beat that
Jan 22, 2015 at 10:17 AM - 7thFloorRA: Those were my daughter's feelings on Slocum
Jan 22, 2015 at 10:29 AM - buggybill2003: Sorry Twiddle, my mistake
Jan 22, 2015 at 10:52 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: lol
Jan 22, 2015 at 12:14 PM - rodell330: I'm dissapoint end that everything is overblown..some of you guys need to stop being so combative. It's annoying
Jan 22, 2015 at 12:27 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: overblown... you mean like the way people are purporting that our team is in need of FEMA help? That's what I call overblown
Jan 22, 2015 at 12:57 PM - Twiddlemylobes: The latest word on the street is that Tom Brady signed a record deal with ZZ Top for a remake of the video "Under Pressure"
Jan 22, 2015 at 1:01 PM - Twiddlemylobes: It'll be recorded under the "Helium Records" label. It'll be better that way.. Colorless, Odorless, Tasteless..
Jan 22, 2015 at 1:06 PM - Twiddlemylobes: It is also. 2nd most notable in abundance in the rings of a universe. #12 X the mass of all other heavy elements combined
Jan 22, 2015 at 7:57 PM - longtimefan: twiddle, they say there is nothing like a good joke...and those were nothing like good jokes  :) :( :whistling: :x3:

Jan 22, 2015 at 9:17 PM - Green and Gold: Bulaga is a must sign.
Jan 22, 2015 at 9:17 PM - Green and Gold: His injury issues are a concern. Had a great year so it's easy to forget that he didn't play at all last year and only made it to November the year previous. I think we should re-sign, but be very careful about overpaying.
Jan 22, 2015 at 9:21 PM - Green and Gold: 4 consecutive division titles, consistent playoff births, and the occasional superbowl. I can live with that :)
Jan 23, 2015 at 9:34 AM - 7thFloorRA: Dead *** last place for the special teams unit. Great job Slocum. Dead ****ing last
Jan 23, 2015 at 11:10 AM - Powarun: Agreed, I find earning a playoff spot as a worthy measurement of a great team. Why? Cause it means Packers can continue
Jan 23, 2015 at 11:11 AM - Powarun: no playoffs mean season over and Bears, Lions, Vikings can continue.
Jan 23, 2015 at 1:35 PM - adambr2: Slocum has no excuse this year. Last year he had the injury excuse. He's got to be gone.
Jan 23, 2015 at 1:35 PM - adambr2: The second thing they can do is get rid of that awful pooch kickoff they like to do.
Jan 23, 2015 at 1:38 PM - adambr2: If he had any inkling that down 16-0 might be a good situation to try a fake FG, he would be preparing for the Super Bowl, not worrying about his future. To my knowledge we've also failed to recover our last two onsides kicks...one being an onside "punt: against Detroit.
Jan 23, 2015 at 3:57 PM - Twiddlemylobes: I'd like to join in on the memories of special teams misery with multiple blocked extra points in one game
Jan 23, 2015 at 4:02 PM - Twiddlemylobes: What did it for me was the onside kick coming within a few yards of the sideline. Our players should've been instructed to knock the ball out of bounds
Jan 23, 2015 at 4:05 PM - Twiddlemylobes: its the equivalent of the secondary intercepting a pass on 4th down 50 yards downfield. Just knock it down. This is football 101

Jan 23, 2015 at 8:01 PM - rodell330: Yea mediocracy... Enjoy it. I however cannot live with it.
Jan 23, 2015 at 10:15 PM - Raptorman: http://webcache.googleusercontent.c...://www.sharpfootballanalysis.com/blog/?p=2932
Jan 24, 2015 at 6:22 AM - desertdog55: Smh...now Jermaine Wiggin (idiot) is crying that "Aaron Rodgers purposely overinflated his footballs, because he liked it heavier, why isn't he being punished".....here we go.
Jan 24, 2015 at 6:30 AM - Zartan: What benefit does it give Rodgers to put more air in the ball to make it heavier?
Jan 24, 2015 at 6:33 AM - Zartan: Im feeling very good going into this offseason. As next season Devante Adams would get more time to train and get better same for HaHa Clinton Dix and getting some ppl back from injury
Jan 24, 2015 at 7:03 AM - Raptorman: Putting an extra pound of air in a ball will make it a very very very small amount heavier. You would have a heavering ball with a different piece of leather.
Jan 24, 2015 at 7:05 AM - Raptorman: Case in point. If you fill a scuba tank with 3,000 psi of air, it's about 6.5 pounds of air.
Jan 24, 2015 at 7:21 AM - ARPackFan: Maybe Rodgers feels it helps to throw a tighter spiral. More air = more uniformity?
Jan 24, 2015 at 7:27 AM - Raptorman: Follow the link I posted above. It has a video with Brunell and Betis and they can tell the difference.
Jan 24, 2015 at 7:28 AM - Raptorman: very telling
Jan 24, 2015 at 7:28 AM - Raptorman: They picked the underinflated ball with no problem.
Jan 24, 2015 at 7:31 AM - Raptorman: One pound of air pressure would be about .034667 ounces.
Jan 24, 2015 at 9:30 AM - adambr2: One week now and we still have no answer as to why Clay Matthews missed the last half of the 4th quarter
Jan 24, 2015 at 9:38 AM - gatorpack: I would hope Rodgers dont over inflate the football as some of the WRs and TEs have a hard time catching the ball. I think we should learn something from the Pats, if your not cheating your not trying
Jan 24, 2015 at 11:43 AM - Green and Gold: This seals the deal on Slocum I guess. Good news is the special teams has a lot of potential to get better next year. Or break an impossible record and get worse.....
Jan 24, 2015 at 11:49 AM - pacmaniac: Clay was prepping the champagne, he was laughing and hugging everyone on the sidelines
Jan 24, 2015 at 2:18 PM - Zartan: Clay was too R E L A X E D to play...
Jan 24, 2015 at 2:19 PM - Zartan: If hes not hurting hes gotta be out there
Jan 24, 2015 at 2:19 PM - Zartan: If Lombardi was still alive he would have a ****
Jan 24, 2015 at 2:23 PM - Zartan: Thats why I wish we had JJ Watt instead.. That guy never quits
Jan 24, 2015 at 4:08 PM - PackerDNA: Man, I'd trade all the picks in the next 3 drafts for Watt.
Jan 24, 2015 at 4:49 PM - Poppa San: Thought it was announced Monday Clay had a leg injury the last half the 4th quarter.
Jan 24, 2015 at 4:52 PM - Twiddlemylobes: It was dismal finish by any of our standards. But I really like what is brewing and I can't frickin wait to see what's in store as far as returning players and new signings. We could be really really dominant if we get this D one more notch. If Aarons healthy come 2015 playoffs we are in for a treat
Jan 24, 2015 at 4:54 PM - Twiddlemylobes: I feel like our D is 2 more playmakers with starting roles and a bit of depth from a top 10 D.
Jan 24, 2015 at 4:55 PM - Vrill: our D is a stud ILB away from being top 10
Jan 24, 2015 at 4:56 PM - Twiddlemylobes: If We go in top 5 offense and top 10 defense this season s going erase all the pain we have endured. And then some
Jan 24, 2015 at 5:01 PM - Twiddlemylobes: I'd like to say in in San Antinio and the number of Packer uniforms I saw was just plain heartwarming. We got a lot of proud and loyal fans at our worst hour. I'm really proud of what team represents amid all the turmoil.
Jan 24, 2015 at 5:05 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Like Sarah Connor said in Terminator
Jan 24, 2015 at 5:05 PM - Twiddlemylobes: There's a storm a brewin'
Jan 24, 2015 at 5:08 PM - Twiddlemylobes: 13-3
Jan 24, 2015 at 5:29 PM - adambr2: I never heard anything about a leg injury for Clay and MM didn't seem aware of anything. He played in OT and looked fine.
Jan 24, 2015 at 5:30 PM - adambr2: I'm shocked that any defensive team leader would be willingly spectating in the 4th like that without a major injury.
Jan 24, 2015 at 5:31 PM - adambr2: Of the NFC title game

Jan 24, 2015 11:27 PM - pacmaniac: But the game was over at that point, he was too bush high fiving and hugging everyone on the sideline to get back in the game.
Jan 24, 2015 11:27 PM - pacmaniac: bush=busy
Jan 25, 2015 9:30 AM - greenandgold: I see that Forbes ranks Sam Shields as the seventh most overpaid NFL player.
Jan 25, 2015 9:50 AM - rodell330: He took a step back yes...he was better last year also Tramon Williams took a step back to and I don't anticipate seeing him on Green Bay next year. It's funny how ppl say that Hayward is to slow to play on the outside however in you watch the Seattle game he did play on the outside and Hyde was the slot guy. That should tell you right there that the coaches don't agree to that statement
Jan 25, 2015 9:54 AM - rodell330: I actually think Hyde is our most versatile Db but Hayward is capable of getting a lot reps on the outside
Jan 25, 2015 10:12 AM - 7thFloorRA: Casey got toasted bad by someone in the seattle game. He just could not catch up to him. I would have to assume his massive hammy injury has taken away some top end speed.
Jan 25, 2015 10:45 AM - rodell330: Yea Baldwin beat him on a play that they had tried to hit on us prior to that but couldn't connect. I think it was like the 3rd play in OT.
Jan 25, 2015 10:51 AM - adambr2: Glad to see that Clay is feeling plenty healthy enough to participate in the Pro Bowl. I guess that can safely put the injury theory from last Sunday to rest.
Jan 25, 2015 10:52 AM - rodell330: People say you can't teach speed but I'd disagree to an extent. As a high school freshman I ran a 4.47 forty yard dash which was 2nd fastest on the team. I was so competitive I remember asking my parents to buy me resistance bands and ankle weights. Long story short I spent the entire summer running hills with those weights and jump roping. By the time I went into my soph yr I was running a 4.43
Jan 25, 2015 10:52 AM - rodell330: And jumping out the gym...do my point is with the proper training during the off season I think Hayward can get faster if he puts in the work.
Jan 25, 2015 10:55 AM - rodell330: But yea some guys like Sam shields are just born fast and don't have to do anything but stay in shape.
Jan 25, 2015 12:03 PM - 7thFloorRA: I am more concerned that Casey has a mental regulator built in from his injury.
Jan 25, 2015 12:52 PM - Zartan: .04 doesnt seem like a diffrence
Jan 25, 2015 12:59 PM - 7thFloorRA: In shocking news.....Josh Gordon has failed another drug test
Jan 25, 2015 1:17 PM - Zartan: OMG
Jan 25, 2015 1:17 PM - Zartan: That is shocking...... Oh....wait.....
Jan 25, 2015 2:00 PM - Zartan: http://www.sbnation.com/lookit/2015...of-his-kids-by-himself-leading-to-catastrophe
Jan 25, 2015 2:00 PM - Zartan: Jay Cutler cant even take care of his kids right
Jan 25, 2015 2:15 PM - Zartan: I dont agree with that one. Its only some booze
Jan 25, 2015 2:15 PM - Zartan: Had he been caught with another DUI then okay but having a drink really...
Jan 25, 2015 2:16 PM - Zartan: You can legally buy booze in all 50 states. I dont know on this TBH
Jan 25, 2015 3:10 PM - 7thFloorRA: Its not like he didn't know. Its clearly part of the protocol. Same thing happened to the Denver kicker who is now the detroit kicker
Jan 25, 2015 3:13 PM - 7thFloorRA: 5555558555555555555555+......52414

Jan 26, 2015 at 4:35 AM - Vrill: Berman was always chubby.....................
Jan 26, 2015 at 5:46 AM - rodell330: It is a big difference Zartan..if you played football you'd know that'. Now carry on sir
Jan 26, 2015 at 5:49 AM - rodell330: Besides that .04 is the difference between Hayward being able to make a play on that long pass to Baldwin
Jan 26, 2015 at 6:41 AM - Zartan: I dident play football.. I played Soccer...
Jan 26, 2015 at 6:41 AM - Zartan: Been awhile though
Jan 26, 2015 at 6:41 AM - Zartan: Or if you are a britt I did play HS Football :p
Jan 26, 2015 at 6:42 AM - Zartan: I had the most strangest and scarriest dream I had in awhile
Jan 26, 2015 at 6:42 AM - Zartan: I had a dream where the Pack lost the SB to the Chargers...
Jan 26, 2015 at 6:42 AM - Zartan: I dont know...
Jan 26, 2015 at 11:18 AM - rodell330: Lol were we up by 12 with 5 minutes left? Haha smh
Jan 26, 2015 at 1:04 PM - Zartan: And afterward I went to a Charger forum and said you guys fought a hard game and I was being sportman like or something
Jan 26, 2015 at 1:04 PM - Zartan: It would of stung HARD!! Had that happen in the SB against the Pats
Jan 26, 2015 at 1:27 PM - Raptorman: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...-zeroed-in-on-patriots-locker-room-attendant/
Jan 26, 2015 at 1:27 PM - Raptorman: And there we have the fall guy in "Deflategate".
Jan 26, 2015 at 2:42 PM - gatorpack: poor guy
Jan 26, 2015 at 3:35 PM - Zartan: Why did we sign a Punter to which we dont need?
Jan 26, 2015 at 3:35 PM - Zartan: http://www.packers.com/news-and-eve...pr=35865630&campaign=social_20150126_39438967
Jan 26, 2015 at 3:35 PM - Zartan: Did that Fall guy get orders to deflate the balls from anyone?
Jan 26, 2015 at 3:35 PM - Darth Garfunkel: Classy, a bunch of multi-millionaires can't find their cojones to man up so they pin it on the guy making $15/hr.
Jan 26, 2015 at 3:35 PM - Zartan: Did he do it on his own accord or did someone ask him to do it
Jan 26, 2015 at 3:36 PM - Darth Garfunkel: He'd risk getting chewed out by the star quarterback if he did it without being asked.
Jan 26, 2015 at 3:42 PM - dbain21: @Zartan Because Masthay was not very good at the end of the year, and brining in a punter for competition could make him step his game up. They did the same thing to crosby after the season when he struggled... brought in some competition and he's been great ever since
Jan 26, 2015 at 3:44 PM - Zartan: Cant really blame a guy who isnt used often. Mastay hardly never needed to punt down the stretch.
Jan 26, 2015 at 4:28 PM - Raptorman: Nobody on the Patriots does anything on their own. If you believe he did it on his own, I have a bridge to sell you.
Jan 26, 2015 at 5:06 PM - 7thFloorRA: it never hurts to bring in competition. He was pretty brutal the 2nd half of the season.
Jan 26, 2015 at 5:39 PM - 7thFloorRA: Especially when you are rated as the 3rd worst punter in the league
Jan 26, 2015 at 6:30 PM - Zartan: Mastay was that bad?
Jan 26, 2015 at 6:31 PM - Zartan: I dident notice other than the last part of the season
Jan 26, 2015 at 6:31 PM - Zartan: Only last few games.
Jan 26, 2015 at 6:48 PM - dbain21: It certainly didn't help that he didn't punt often...would be curious to see where he ranks in terms of amounts of punts this year. That being said when he did punt he wasn't very effective. The Seattle game he was particularly bad
Jan 26, 2015 at 7:14 PM - 7thFloorRA: Did something happen to him when he had that one blocked? That was about the time he started sucking bad.

Jan 27, 2015 5:22 AM - rodell330: He took a huge step back that's for sure...all these guys do at practice is kick and punt...lITERALLY..so even if he didn't punt often he shouldn't be the third worse punter in the NFL. Another reSon to get rid of slocum which the Packers won't do.
Jan 27, 2015 5:25 AM - rodell330: On another note why did it take them until the playoffs to take Dajuan Harris off kickoff return? He hS to rank near deD last in kickoff return average. Also Slocums unit.
Jan 27, 2015 5:41 AM - 7thFloorRA: maybe crazy man jim Schwartz wants to be a special teams coach this year since there are no DC jobs open anymore.
Jan 27, 2015 8:15 AM - dbain21: It's always media day that makes me wish the packers were in the SB. Obviously more so this year than years past. Its a stupid day really and a media circus but when its packers there its always fun
Jan 27, 2015 8:18 AM - dbain21: well I wish they were it in every year obviously..media stings this year though
Jan 27, 2015 4:55 PM - Powarun: Rodell it took a Rodgers injury to take Harris off kickoff returns. When Rodgers was injured we had all 3 qb's active and deactivated Harris

Jan 28, 2015 7:49 AM - Pokerbrat2000: With the ratings of special teams released and the Packers finishing dead last.....how long will Slocum have a job with the Packers?
Jan 28, 2015 7:55 AM - ExpatPacker: If Slocum does keep his job I will lose a lot of faith and respect for MM to really make the needed changes for this team.
Jan 28, 2015 7:57 AM - Green and Gold: People saying we wont get another shot are idiots. We are going to be great next year. Rodgers will be healthy, another year for key players like HaHa and Lacy...we will be contending for a SB for the next 3-5 years.
Jan 28, 2015 7:58 AM - Green and Gold: The one thing I would point to is that we got really lucky this year in the injury department. In the last five years, that has been a major problem, and last year we saw the ultimate worst case scenario.
Jan 28, 2015 7:59 AM - Green and Gold: Packers will have a new special teams coach to end the blocked kicks and coverage issues.
Jan 28, 2015 8:05 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: blah blah blah, always gotta fire someone, jeezus
Jan 28, 2015 8:07 AM - Green and Gold: Always?
Jan 28, 2015 8:07 AM - Green and Gold: lmao
Jan 28, 2015 8:09 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: I'm actually going to watch the Superbowl unlike many others, and I'm taking the Pats
Jan 28, 2015 8:14 AM - Green and Gold: I'll prob watch as well no preference either team to win / lose.
Jan 28, 2015 8:24 AM - dbain21: I really do think barring injuries this team has a shot to at least make it to the nfc championship game again. Whether its the defense, o-line or rodgers himself injuries were always a thorn in the side. This year about 98% healthy and this team was the best in the league at times
Jan 28, 2015 10:12 AM - Bridcarper: Can't watch Superbowl live - working - but will record it. Like you Carolina, I'm in the Pat's corner. Brady is a class act.
Jan 28, 2015 12:36 PM - Zartan: Dispite of Deflategate. Im rooting for the Pats
Jan 28, 2015 12:36 PM - Zartan: Want someone to shut up Richard Sherman nad Marshon Lynch
Jan 28, 2015 1:38 PM - Pokerbrat2000: I thought Lynch didn't talk anyway?
Jan 28, 2015 2:31 PM - dbain21: would probably root for the pats even if the scandal was a more serious one than deflategate is
Jan 28, 2015 2:34 PM - dbain21: lynch talks just enough to be annoying
Jan 28, 2015 2:48 PM - 7thFloorRA: Always gotta fire someone?? Are you freaking serious. What in the hell has slocum done to warrant retaining his job? He grades out as The WORST special teams coach in the league. Defend him. Let's see it.

Jan 29, 2015 6:32 AM - Zartan: Had we had a good ST coach the Hawks would of never tried that fake FG
Jan 29, 2015 2:10 PM - Green and Gold: Hoping Abbrederis comes good, very unfortunate injury. Kid must have been on cloud 9 when the packers picked him.
Jan 29, 2015 2:10 PM - Green and Gold: *becomes
Jan 29, 2015 2:17 PM - Green and Gold: Jettisoning Brad Jones is one hell of a way to be a better football team overnight.

Jan 30, 2015 5:21 AM - rodell330: Slocum is terrible but the packers would rather retain mediocre coaches and players than get rid of them. I.e. Brad jones and Slocum
Jan 30, 2015 7:16 AM - Dan115: I will be surprised if Jones and Slocum return.
Jan 30, 2015 7:59 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: I don't see how even the best ST coach in the league could not have been unprepared for a fake FG, anyone could call that at a time it was unexpected and if it works it works, it's not an indictment against a ST coach
Jan 30, 2015 8:00 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: I would be more concerned if a ST coverage unit was constantly getting burned on kick or punt returns, or failing to get any yardage returning it themselves
Jan 30, 2015 8:01 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: I don't think Slocum is by any means the best in the league, but this craziness about him is way too overstated
Jan 30, 2015 8:53 AM - Green and Gold: Jared showed great Route Running and play making ability in college. Maybe he will be our Key 4th guy we were missing the most of 2014.
Jan 30, 2015 8:55 AM - Green and Gold: I see Janis being an experimental player in 2015, Maybe even the starting Kick Returner since Dujuan Harris seemingly gave that up and is a Free Agent.
Jan 30, 2015 9:38 AM - 7thFloorRA: Seattle ran that fake because Slocum's unit showed the tendency to abandon responsibility on the fg defense. The fact that he didn't see this himself and didn't correct it is an indictment of his ineptitude as a special teams coordinator
Jan 30, 2015 9:40 AM - 7thFloorRA: The blocked kicks, the horrific kick return blocking, the crazy free release on the gunners on punt returns earlier in the year. He didn't become the worst special teams coach in the league with the NFC Championship. He has held that title for a long time.
Jan 30, 2015 2:14 PM - Narveson: Packers fire Slocum. http://www.packers.com/news-and-eve...released/faedb5dd-4ac1-4ec8-b1d7-3bfcbf438295
Jan 30, 2015 2:33 PM - Green and Gold: Never like to see a person lose their job, but I think we can all agree that this was a necessary change after several years of mostly poor ST play culminating in the disastrous NFCCG.
Jan 30, 2015 2:58 PM - Vltrophy: Agree Totally
Jan 30, 2015 3:46 PM - Packman Chant: Best wishes to him and thankful for the effort and time he's put into our team. Salute !
Jan 30, 2015 3:53 PM - Packman Chant: We need a solid LB, cut bostick (no use for the guy really)..already working on ST. I think next year, it's our time.
Jan 30, 2015 3:54 PM - Packman Chant: I really hope to keep tRamon too, how do you all feel about him?
Jan 30, 2015 4:34 PM - Zartan: Now that they fired Slocum now can they fire Brad Jones?
Jan 30, 2015 5:15 PM - Rodgers in the House: game should've never been decided by special teams in the first place. MM is sht.

Jan 30, 2015 11:27 PM - Cheesehead625: Ugh, just read some of the comments on NBC sports. Seahawks have some classless fans. For a team that sold out it's first game in 2006 and pulled a miracle out of their butts to make this Super Bowl they talk a lot of crap
Jan 31, 2015 1:31 AM - PackerDNA: Want them to shut up and go away? Beat them.
Jan 31, 2015 1:32 AM - PackerDNA: Until then, have another heaping helping of crow.
Jan 31, 2015 7:42 AM - Green and Gold: No announcement about Zook leaving, so he's probably the replacement. I'd prefer someone from outside the organization.
Jan 31, 2015 7:47 AM - 7thFloorRA: Zook could be reshuffled into a quality control...any other position groups assistant. I hope they look outside as well.
Jan 31, 2015 7:58 AM - 7thFloorRA: So umm.....does that MVP thing happen tonight!!!! I have heard zero discussion about Rodgers possibly winning his 2nd MVP this evening.
Jan 31, 2015 10:19 AM - Cheesehead625: I get beat them and they'll shut up.. I don't remember too many Packers fans talking trash to teams outside the conference like this
Jan 31, 2015 10:20 AM - Cheesehead625: Not only that… 1 play any of those plays that went their way and we could could have said we throughly stomped them
Jan 31, 2015 11:30 AM - Powarun: OMG finally got my furnaced fixed today, its been dying since the day before the Packers lost and has been depressingly cold days since.
Jan 31, 2015 1:01 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Slocum said it was a missed assignmen n that Bostick was a blocker and Jordy was the hands man
Jan 31, 2015 1:08 PM - Twiddlemylobes: My contention is cases where onside kicks fall wihin reasonable proximity to chalk. The sideline becomes our friend. Knock the ball out of bounds. That's a ST coaches area to make sure they understand that concept. That's not on Bostick. I believed combined with the blown fake coverage was the reason Slocum career was cut short Even though good luck to Slocum
Jan 31, 2015 1:35 PM - pacmaniac: Sad that it took MM a couple of MASSIVE ST GAFFES that cost them a trip to the Super Bowl to finally realize he should fire Slocum.
Jan 31, 2015 2:10 PM - 7thFloorRA: The vibe I get from the media close to the Pack is that Slocum was a good ol boy from texas, linebacker specialist who was completely incompetent at coordinating the special teams units.
Jan 31, 2015 2:11 PM - 7thFloorRA: I believe it was clements who mentioned that he brought up crosby having almost all his misses that one year from the right hash.....he said slocums jaw dropped and gave every indication that he was completely unaware of that stat
Jan 31, 2015 2:12 PM - 7thFloorRA: michaels mentioned that he had seen practice at some point in time this year and it looked like special teams were going through the motions....as if they didn't really respect the guy
Jan 31, 2015 2:35 PM - Carl: Overall, the ST wasn't good. That's in Slocum. I do not get how he can be blamed for a player just ignoring his assignment and then dropping the ball.
Jan 31, 2015 2:35 PM - Carl: Bostick blew that play. He even said it himself.
Jan 31, 2015 4:26 PM - adambr2: I don't hold the Bostick play against Slocum, but I do hold him partially responsible for allowing the fake FG.
Jan 31, 2015 5:00 PM - Twiddlemylobes: A leader isn't a leader if he blames a follower
Jan 31, 2015 5:04 PM - Twiddlemylobes: IMO the failure to understand the principle behind using sidelines falls strictly with the ST coach. No different than a Defensive player making an INT on 4th down 50 yards down field.
Jan 31, 2015 5:09 PM - Twiddlemylobes: It's the same concept in basketball starting the game. We didn't need field position. We needed possession. It's one of the few times you can also the ball inti a dead ball situation rather than risking advancing it and fumbling. Which we did. Out of bounds is a dead ball. Advantage. Receiving team. Bostick holds some responsibility. But this was a missed opportunity by the ST coach.
Jan 31, 2015 5:26 PM - pacmaniac: Agree Bostick's error shouldn't be blamed on Slocum. Slocum can be blamed for the fake FG and all the blocked FGs this season though.
Jan 31, 2015 5:32 PM - Twiddlemylobes: The bottom line is if Bostick knocks the ball out of bounds. We'd be playing tomorrow, Slocum would be employed and everyone would chalk it yo to good intelligence.
Jan 31, 2015 5:34 PM - Twiddlemylobes: I'm just happy in not having to coach you guys in ST. Lol
Jan 31, 2015 5:38 PM - 7thFloorRA: Maybe Bostick's undisciplined play is a product of him not respecting the special teams coach and the special teams coach not driving that point into his head before even putting him on the hands team
Jan 31, 2015 5:40 PM - Twiddlemylobes: A combination of events seems to precipitate a disaster
Jan 31, 2015 5:41 PM - Twiddlemylobes: I watched Bostick in an interview after the game taking responsibility for the entire loss. He went into a major depression from what I learned and his teammates came to his rescue. Bostick didnt lose that game. The TEAM lost that game.
Jan 31, 2015 5:43 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Anyone finger pointing. Needs to look in the mirror
Jan 31, 2015 5:46 PM - Twiddlemylobes: I was proud of Cobb and Clay sticking up for him. im quite sure I'm near alone here, but I'll take losing with dignity over winning with arrogance
Jan 31, 2015 7:03 PM - Zartan: RODGERS WINS THE MVP
Jan 31, 2015 7:03 PM - Zartan: 2nd Carrer MVP
Jan 31, 2015 7:05 PM - 7thFloorRA: Glorious.!!! I hope no one was watching the show anticipating it since they released that an hour before it will air.
Jan 31, 2015 7:10 PM - TeamTundra: Ron Wolf HOF
Jan 31, 2015 7:11 PM - TeamTundra: HOF 2015 class

Jan 31, 2015 at 7:43 PM - 7thFloorRA: Apparently there have been. There was a kicker that won it during the 82 strike season. Shaun Alexander won't get in.
Jan 31, 2015 at 7:44 PM - 7thFloorRA: Boomer and Ken Anderson both aren not in and wont ever get in.
Jan 31, 2015 at 7:53 PM - 7thFloorRA: The 8th time a Packer has taken home the MVP. The Bears have 1
Jan 31, 2015 at 7:55 PM - 7thFloorRA: Kind of weird to think about but that pretty much cements Rodgers place in the HOF.

Jan 31, 2015 8:35 PM - Green and Gold: GO PACK GO!
Jan 31, 2015 9:24 PM - Green and Gold: Nobody in the Packers organization today is untouched by Ron Wolf. His fingerprints are all over the organization as well as several others like Seattle, Oakland, and Kansas City who are all run by former Wolf disciples.
Jan 31, 2015 9:26 PM - Narveson: Man, Houston fans are pissed off here in Texas about Rodgers winning MVP. One guy said, "Man, what else does Watt need to do?" I said, "Make the playoffs."
Jan 31, 2015 9:26 PM - Green and Gold: Rodgers becomes the 9th player with multiple MVPs.
Jan 31, 2015 9:28 PM - AKCheese: What else does Watt have to do? Ummmm stop being a DL
Jan 31, 2015 9:36 PM - Green and Gold: MVP-MVP-MVP
Feb 1, 2015 7:23 AM - Circa1919: If it wasn't Rodgers, I would've picked Watt. But yeah, not being in the playoffs hurt him, but in his defense he was a very good player on a very bad team and they probably wouldn't have gotten the record that they had without him.
Feb 1, 2015 7:45 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Did anybody else wake up this morning, think about the Super Bowl and have this ache like you are being invited to the wedding of someone you just cant stand who is marrying your once true love?
Feb 1, 2015 8:02 AM - PackerDNA: Heh, didn't look at it like that, Pokerbrat2000, but now that you mentioned it....
Feb 1, 2015 8:03 AM - PackerDNA: All week, and especially today, reading and watching stuff on the game and the thought "It should have been us" keeps popping into my head. What a blown opportunity.
Feb 1, 2015 8:22 AM - 7thFloorRA: Finally the day of closure on the 2014/15 season has arrived.
Feb 1, 2015 8:23 AM - buggybill2003: I feel sick myself...
Feb 1, 2015 8:26 AM - buggybill2003: I`m stuck with the annoying image of those Packer players enjoying themselves at the Pro-bowl, and getting paid $55,000 for failing this year.
Feb 1, 2015 8:27 AM - buggybill2003: Yes, I`m bitter at the moment. I`m sure I`ll get over it in time.
Feb 1, 2015 8:32 AM - PackerDNA: Bill, I keep reading/ hearing about what can be percieved as a 'whatever' attitude by the Packers. Impossible to tell if that's accurate with such things, but if it is, we won't be winning another big game /super bowl anytime soon.
Feb 1, 2015 8:53 AM - Powarun: I agree it hurts, yet sometimes its best to move on. I look back at when the Packers won the Superbowl my apartment flooded and I didn't care. This year hte Packers lost and my furnace died and it threw me over the edge, but I had to do something to keep myself from freezing
Feb 1, 2015 8:55 AM - Powarun: It took me two weeks and now I distracted myself with not only a working furnace but looking at making my old home smarter. Though visiting football sites is a habit
Feb 1, 2015 9:06 AM - buggybill2003: hope you get it sorted soon Powarun, and DNA, you are completely right. I have had a few other problems recently and don`t know WHY this is ticking me off so much ? The only thing is I am a fan, whereas they are merely employed by the organisation.
Feb 1, 2015 9:09 AM - PackerDNA: Oh, don't get me wrong, guys. I'm not the least bit obsessed or depressed. Only crosses my mind when watching the games/ pregame stuff, etc and here on the site because it's the topic. Has zero effect on me in the real world or otherwise.
Feb 1, 2015 9:12 AM - buggybill2003: Oh the same here.....lol
Feb 1, 2015 9:13 AM - buggybill2003: I just shouldn`t have watch it in the first place
Feb 1, 2015 9:15 AM - buggybill2003: watched even ;)
Feb 1, 2015 9:17 AM - gonzozab: I have absolutely no interest in watching this game today. It's a sad day for me. It's not so much that the Packers should be playing this game, it's that I can't think of two more unlikable teams other than the Cowboys than the Pats and Seahawks. Hell, I'd watch even if the Bears or Vikings were playing.
Feb 1, 2015 9:20 AM - gonzozab: I have a feeling the feeling is mutual all over the country and the ratings will be down this year.
Feb 1, 2015 9:37 AM - PackerDNA: It's the Super Bowl. It'll be the highest rated program of the year.
Feb 1, 2015 10:00 AM - 7thFloorRA: The problem with todays game is that there is no reason for the casual fan to root for either team. Seattle has lost all the goodwill they had last year as the team you wanted to see finally win one. Now they are loudmouth jerks. The Pats are habitual cheaters. There is no common interest storyline for the rest of the fans of the NFL.
Feb 1, 2015 11:03 AM - Zartan: Dispite of Deflate Gate. I want the Pats to win tonight
Feb 1, 2015 11:04 AM - Zartan: Want someone to shut up the damn Seahags
Feb 1, 2015 11:14 AM - Poppa San: Can't get to my SB party. Snow's been blowing sideways all day.
Feb 1, 2015 11:14 AM - Poppa San: Maybe just drink myself asleep and read about it tomorrow.
Feb 1, 2015 11:15 AM - Zartan: Thats the way to do it Poppa San
Feb 1, 2015 11:21 AM - buggybill2003: drinking sounds good whatever the reason ;)
Feb 1, 2015 11:35 AM - 7thFloorRA: I will go for the cheaters. I find Seattle's constant trash mouth more off putting.
Feb 1, 2015 11:39 AM - buggybill2003: The thing is, the more people hate them for it, the more it seems to bring them together as a unit. Just my opinion of course.
Feb 1, 2015 11:41 AM - 7thFloorRA: I think that worked last year but they have gone to the well one to many times this year. They are whining bout getting no respect when people clearly respect them.

Feb 1, 2015 at 11:43 AM - buggybill2003: But wasn`t that how Al Davis motivated the Raiders back in the good old days by telling his players they were hated by every man and his dog ?
Feb 1, 2015 at 11:50 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: Go Pats today, I hope the Pats win to put a cork in that silly deflate gate nonsense, put that phony scandal to bed
Feb 1, 2015 at 11:50 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: we need to fire Goodell too so these silly made up stories about teams dont come around anymore
Feb 1, 2015 at 12:01 PM - buggybill2003: I think that story came from a former Raider in the series "Americas Team"
Feb 1, 2015 at 12:12 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I mean, I don't know everything that happened in the spygate story, I think that one is a mix of fact and fiction, and one of my friends even was talking about how he believes other teams have employed similar tactics and gone unnoticed, and I think in that case, the Pats probably did go too far, but this deflategate is blown way out of proportion
Feb 1, 2015 at 12:12 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: if those balls really were as underinflated enough to impact the game and truly wreck it, the refs would've seen that in an instant
Feb 1, 2015 at 12:13 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: which is why I am telling you, it's nothing more than a phony scandal perpetrated by Roger Goodell's spies to generate controversy and get all the news outlets to talk about this
Feb 1, 2015 at 12:14 PM - Zartan: If Deflate gate dident happen what would be the leading news story going into this game
Feb 1, 2015 at 12:15 PM - buggybill2003: I THOUGHT you were talking about the Raiders sorry.
Feb 1, 2015 at 12:15 PM - 7thFloorRA: lynch and the packers collapse
Feb 1, 2015 at 12:16 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: no theyd be talking about the Gronkowski vs Chancellor matchup which they should be
Feb 1, 2015 at 12:17 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: theyve had about zero matchup talk this whole two weeks and all on account of the biggest phony scandal in sports history
Feb 1, 2015 at 12:22 PM - Poppa San: So NE was able to practice and get ready without much media distraction. Way to divert the media!
Feb 1, 2015 at 12:23 PM - 7thFloorRA: Well instead of that x's and o's talk we got deflated balls and lynch being a *****
Feb 1, 2015 at 12:27 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: you know now that I think of it that way Poppa, you're right, but still this kind of fabricated story nonsense which has been the MO of Goodell's term as commissioner still should stop, especially with the amount of media and fans that just bite on it thinking its true
Feb 1, 2015 at 12:29 PM - Zartan: Now the NFL is looing into the Falcons of generating artfical noise
Feb 1, 2015 at 12:29 PM - Zartan: http://fantasynews.cbssports.com/fa...estigating-falcons-for-artificial-crowd-noise
Feb 1, 2015 at 12:31 PM - 7thFloorRA: Thats even more absurd that the deflated balls.
Feb 1, 2015 at 12:34 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Does anyone remember the days and maybe it was just college, but the home team could get penalized if the crowd was too loud
Feb 1, 2015 at 12:40 PM - 7thFloorRA: The pregame show has already started??? What cold possibly be watchable on that show?
Feb 1, 2015 at 12:42 PM - Pokerbrat2000: An interview with Lynch perhaps? :roflmao:
Feb 1, 2015 at 12:43 PM - Pokerbrat2000: My dilemma is I really like Russell Wilson.....class act all the way......but can't find any other reason to want Seattle to win.....and the Patriots ......nothing.....may just watch for the commercials
Feb 1, 2015 at 12:44 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I've never heard of penalizing the crowd for that before
Feb 1, 2015 at 12:55 PM - Zartan: I dont know. NFL is wasting time looking into artifcal crowd Noise
Feb 1, 2015 at 12:55 PM - Zartan: Doesnt every team do that?
Feb 1, 2015 at 1:40 PM - Poppa San: Should have OSHA do a stadium noise sample in the interest of worker hearing safety.
Feb 1, 2015 at 1:41 PM - Poppa San: Require stadiums to be under a certain noise level like any industry.
Feb 1, 2015 at 1:41 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Weve done it in practice to prepare for venues like Seattle. It's a shame if it's true. I guess it shouldn't surprise us. Ethics are in short supply
Feb 1, 2015 at 1:42 PM - Poppa San: Require the SeaHags to add noise suppression to their echo chamber.
Feb 1, 2015 at 1:43 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Lol
Feb 1, 2015 at 1:43 PM - Poppa San: Friggin snow still blowing by horizontally with 1km visibility.
Feb 1, 2015 at 1:51 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Just so sick of Godellian phony scandals
Feb 1, 2015 at 2:19 PM - JK64: I haven't listened to or watched any sports shows for two weeks.
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:27 PM - PackerDNA: After the coin toss, the seahawks- except for Wilson- turned and left the field. Except for one guy, the Pats then did the same, leaving Wilson and the lone Pat to shake hands. Bad blood here?
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:29 PM - PackerDNA: Whoa, Chevy might have pissed a bunch of people off with that commercial.

Feb 1, 2015 at 3:29 PM - Circa1919: Bad fake blood. They aren't a freakin' rivalry. Seahacks' LOB started it with their mouth running
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:32 PM - Circa1919: I'm pretty much the only person in my household leaning the Pats' side.
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:33 PM - pacmaniac: Everyone knows the Packers made a mistake not targeting Sherman in the 4th Q, everyone except MM.
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:34 PM - Greenbaypackers77: Should be us out there
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:35 PM - pacmaniac: Oh well, Rodgers is at home basking with his MVP trophy.
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:36 PM - pacmaniac: Really hoping for the Pats to blowout Seattle, otherwise our loss will be unbearable.
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:36 PM - Packerinmissouri: I'm still not over it...
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:36 PM - Circa1919: Went to the store today here in Indy and had three people say the same "It should be the Packers out there". All I could say was "Well...we lost so..."
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:37 PM - Narveson: Refs already ******** up the game
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:37 PM - pacmaniac: It should be... then again the way we played on offense, we don't deserve to be there.
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:38 PM - pacmaniac: MM with his "prevent offense" strategy.
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:38 PM - PackerDNA: Hitting the plant leg should be 15 yds. Why only 5?
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:38 PM - Packerinmissouri: I work with a Seahawks fan, the day after the NFCC game she said "what happened to your packers" all I said was "You're welcome..."
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:41 PM - Circa1919: ^They should be thankful. I doubt the Patriots would've been so kind if Wilson threw 4 picks on them
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:43 PM - pacmaniac: MM is a protege of Marty Schottenheimer.
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:43 PM - pacmaniac: His first NFL job was under Marty
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:47 PM - Green and Gold: I put 1 dollar on pats.
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:49 PM - pacmaniac: MM would have tried the ol' run up the middle on that play
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:50 PM - 7thFloorRA: that is the same f-ing front that the pack could not gain a single yard on. why????
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:50 PM - pacmaniac: we don't run outside
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:51 PM - Carl: The Packers stretch plays all the time..
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:51 PM - 7thFloorRA: even when we do it just gets strung out. Is it the zone blocking that makes short yardage running impossible?
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:53 PM - pacmaniac: hmm
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:53 PM - Carl: So maybe Seattle's red zone defense is good and it wasn't our play calling. Crazy to give the other team some credit and not blame the coach though...
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:55 PM - pacmaniac: Part of the play calling criticism is that MM didn't even go for it on the 4th downs. We had the top scoring O in the league, but MM had no confidence on gaining 1 yard on multiple occasions
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:55 PM - 7thFloorRA: dude broke his arm
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:56 PM - 7thFloorRA: they don't air cast you unless you are really jacked up
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:57 PM - Carl: Maybe because we just got stuffed twice in a row..
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:58 PM - 7thFloorRA: that quick slide crap by wilson is kind of irritating.
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:58 PM - PackerDNA: Irritating, but smart.
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:59 PM - Carl: Notice how much better the blocking was on the Pats 3rd and 1. Wasn't just because it was an outside run.
Feb 1, 2015 at 3:59 PM - Circa1919: Quick slides in general will tear down defenses. You can't touch a quarterback nowadays anyway and that quick slide is a good way to get a penalty
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:00 PM - desertdog55: Fire MM !!!!!!!...lol
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:02 PM - Circa1919: This is an oddly boring game so far
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:02 PM - red4tribe: Brady looked like Favre on the pick

Feb 1, 2015 at 4:03 PM - pacmaniac: yes boring, yes favre
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:04 PM - PackerDNA: Very fast 1st quarter.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:06 PM - Circa1919: almost another pick
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:08 PM - PackerDNA: Brady is jittery- needs to settle down.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:10 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Wasn't sure who I wanted to win. But naturally find myself rooting Pats.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:11 PM - Circa1919: TD Pats.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:12 PM - pacmaniac: And that's how a REAL offense operates in the red zone, ladies and gentlemen.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:12 PM - Circa1919: I actually feel bad for the Pats with the whole overblown Deflategate
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:12 PM - pacmaniac: you mean underblown?
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:12 PM - Circa1919: deflated balls don't win games
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:12 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Russell's career will be cut short if he keeps scrambling.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:12 PM - Circa1919: and lol pacman
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:15 PM - Carl: You mean attack a back up safety? Yeah..must have be hard to do
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:16 PM - Carl: Of course you didn't mention their failure the last red zone trip.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:18 PM - pacmaniac: It wasn't great D the last trip, it was a dumb throw by Brady
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:19 PM - Carl: A great blitz had nothing to do with the throw...
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:20 PM - Carl: He was kinda under pressure.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:20 PM - pacmaniac: If it was the Packers, the Pats wouldn't need a spy this game.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:21 PM - JK64: This game is probably going to make us Packer fans even sicker.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:24 PM - 7thFloorRA: He needs to get hit more. I am tired of seeing him quick slide.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:25 PM - PackerDNA: Seahawks Dbacks getting away with a lot.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:27 PM - 7thFloorRA: yes they are. gronk is getting manhandled out there. Usually brady would be giving the officials an earful.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:33 PM - Circa1919: dammit
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:33 PM - Greenbaypackers77: Man I think GB could have gotten that SB win this year such a shame
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:34 PM - pacmaniac: Depends on which Rodgers would have shown up.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:35 PM - JK64: yeah the bad calf
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:36 PM - Greenbaypackers77: lolz
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:36 PM - Greenbaypackers77: he did play that out
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:36 PM - Greenbaypackers77: almost like he never even showed up or seemed to not care much
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:38 PM - pacmaniac: he did miss open receivers
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:40 PM - Carl: You're making it seem like a Packers game is on by making the chat box a ***** session.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:43 PM - Green and Gold: not many flags this game
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:46 PM - Green and Gold: wheres the legion of boom at
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:46 PM - Circa1919: making Gronk a no show
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:47 PM - PackerDNA: 1 hour 17 minutes so far...fast, fast half.

Feb 1, 2015 at 4:47 PM - Circa1919: well nevermind then
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:47 PM - PackerDNA: There's Gronk.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:48 PM - tripleguy: Nice to have a big, athletic tight end.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:48 PM - PackerDNA: Now don't let Wilson complete another Hail Mary.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:50 PM - PackerDNA: Jeff Bridges has rediscovered drugs. Him and Gary Busey together would be loads of fun.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:51 PM - tripleguy: Lots of underneath stuff by the Pats - take what the D gives you. Similar IMO to what GB did. NE ran the ball at the goal line but didn't go up the gut. MM take notice. Lacey can spin you know.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:52 PM - desertdog55: Fire Carroll !!!!
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:52 PM - PackerDNA: Feel 'em out, set 'em up.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:53 PM - Carl: NE hasn't even been that close to the goal line to say they ran at it.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:55 PM - desertdog55: Fire Billichik !!!!!!!
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:55 PM - Carl: One shot at the end zone.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:55 PM - PackerDNA: Unbelievable how these guys always manage to answer, especially late in halves.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:56 PM - Circa1919: Wilson is the best Hail Mary passer I have ever seen. He can't throw crap but god forbid you force him to chuck downfeild
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:57 PM - pacmaniac: Only man in history to complete a hail mary on a 2-point conversion.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:57 PM - Green and Gold: http://i.imgur.com/OqHoXNl.jpg
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:57 PM - Green and Gold: Lane's arm broken.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:58 PM - Narveson: tied
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:58 PM - pacmaniac: well that was a nice play
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:58 PM - Narveson: 80 yard, 29 second drive
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:58 PM - tripleguy: MM would have kicked it - no question.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:58 PM - PackerDNA: Well, we're gonna be hearing these jackazzes s*** for another year.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:58 PM - Circa1919: He didn't "recover" it WE dropped it!
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:59 PM - Carl: That was some bad defense that drive. Nobody should go 80 in 29 seconds
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:59 PM - desertdog55: Jason Wilde just tweeted...:"Imagining the Tweets I'd be getting if this was the #Packers defense allowing this to happen at the end of the half here."
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:59 PM - adambr2: 100 percent MM would have trotted out the FG team there.
Feb 1, 2015 at 4:59 PM - Circa1919: Kinda like us...right Carl? Our fantastic defense
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:00 PM - pacmaniac: Absolutely MM kicks it.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:00 PM - Carl: Does every good play in the game have something to do with MM doing something wrong?
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:00 PM - pacmaniac: No, actually, MM kneels at his own 30 and goes into the half trailing 14-7.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:01 PM - tripleguy: Ever good play in the game has something to do with MM doing something wrong.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:02 PM - tripleguy: MM has historically been ultra conservative around the goal line.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:02 PM - Carl: Complaining about stuff he hasn't even done...
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:02 PM - PackerDNA: Halftime show...time for a nap
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:02 PM - adambr2: I'm not even complaining. Just an observation. Relax Carl. It was risk/reward there.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:03 PM - tripleguy: OK, MM has never been agressive on 3rd and 4th down at the goal line. Better?

Feb 1, 2015 at 5:03 PM - Carl: Just don't see how everything relates to MM doing something wrong.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:03 PM - adambr2: They did well to get that pass off quickly though to ensure still getting 3 if it had been incomplete.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:04 PM - tripleguy: adambr2 - that's kind of what you have to do. It's called coaching.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:05 PM - adambr2: It was a comparison of styles. Carroll made the gutsy call there and it might win him a Super Bowl. MM was aggressive early in his career and gradually has become much more conservative. Which is surprising considering he has rock solid job security.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:05 PM - Carl: Let's look at the whole half. We were up 16. MM must have been doing terribly at this point compared to these two coaches...
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:05 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Seattle has a way of making teams look like they are worse than they are
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:05 PM - tripleguy: Wonder how NE would feel if they were up by 16 going in at halftime? Probably would sit on it I'd imagine.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:06 PM - adambr2: Trust me I've been wishing for the last 2 weeks that we could just count the first half.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:06 PM - Carl: 10 yards with 6 seconds is a no brainier to try for the end zone once.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:06 PM - lambeaulambo: starting to think the nfl might be rigged
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:06 PM - Twiddlemylobes: This is a flashback of our game. Unbelievable
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:06 PM - Carl: And Seattle did try to sit on the lead by running to start the drive.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:07 PM - Carl: But the run gained a lot
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:07 PM - adambr2: A no brainer? I'll bet 3 of 4 coaches would have kicked the FG there. It doesn't take much for a 4 second play to turn into a 6 second play.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:08 PM - Carl: With a smart QB who would throw it out of the endzone it is.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:08 PM - 7thFloorRA: I would have kicked. MM's conservative crap had nothing do do with fg vs going for it....it had to do with his 2nd half play calling on every play.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:09 PM - Carl: Drop back and throw immediately to the open guy or out of the endzone.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:09 PM - Circa1919: Oh my god the Green Bay packers singing wut
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:09 PM - tripleguy: We're used to conservative play calling in GB. Why kick if you have 6 seconds? Try a slant or throw it away. you just need a Gb with a clock in their head. Not rocket science.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:09 PM - adambr2: On paper yes. In real life you're making those decisions in a split second. A guy comes up short, a ball gets tipped, and the clock runs out on you.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:09 PM - Twiddlemylobes: It's a calculated hypothesis. But 4/5 you can get it to the goal line within 6 seconds
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:10 PM - Narveson: Gutsy call. With getting the ball to start the 2nd half, I would've kicked it
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:10 PM - Carl: They had a timeout to call if a guy comes up short.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:11 PM - adambr2: Need to do it within 5 not 6. Have to leave at least 1 second on the clock. Odds are if you come up short you're doing it with 1-2 seconds left and may or may not get the timeout called in time.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:11 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Championship games require championship thinking
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:11 PM - Carl: The Packers are in Pitch Perfet 2 Circa
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:11 PM - tripleguy: Smart call. It's 6 seconds. An incomplete pass takes 4-5 tops. You think they don't have these things timed out? coaches get paid for to know this stuff.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:11 PM - Carl: That's why you don't even throw it short
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:12 PM - tripleguy: "That's why you don't throw it short" -- BINGO
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:12 PM - adambr2: I agree with the call, just don't think most coaches would swallow the risk. Kicking there is a safe 14-10 halftime score and not hard to justify to the media.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:13 PM - adambr2: 14-7 you'll be second guessed all day
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:13 PM - tripleguy: Adam - MM agrees with you. That's why we're where we are.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:13 PM - Narveson: It's not just the clock running out. What if the Pats play tight coverage, the ball gets tipped and picked off? Then it's 0 points instead of 3 or 7
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:14 PM - tripleguy: Narveson - true on every play. You're thinking like MM now.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:14 PM - Twiddlemylobes: I'm certain MM would've kicked a FG.

Feb 1, 2015 at 5:14 PM - adambr2: Right. It sounds simple to say throw to the open guy or throw it away immediately. I'm sure the actual execution of that idea isn't as simple.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:14 PM - jaybadger82: I literally logged on just to crack that joke, Twiddle
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:15 PM - 7thFloorRA: I wouldn't if I were the pack because they don't have the tall back of the endzone threat. If we had a 6'5 guy who can grab it up high at the back or corner then hell yes but not with these guys. Its not their game
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:15 PM - jaybadger82: I was going to type "Guess who would've settled for the FG?"
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:15 PM - Narveson: I love how a guy who hasn't been in the chat for the entire playoff run is telling me that I'm thinking like MM
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:15 PM - 7thFloorRA: The packers thrive on YAC yards....hence the struggles in the red zone.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:15 PM - Twiddlemylobes: But he also
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:15 PM - tripleguy: Please guys, this is the Super Bowl. No time to not have balls. No guts, no glory. Look to where we are for proof of that.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:15 PM - jaybadger82: Yeah, Seattle has way more options in the red zone than the Pack
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:15 PM - adambr2: Then again Seattle doesn't really have that guy either.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:15 PM - Carl: This show is crazy. Much rather see Classic rock band just go up on stage and play without all the other **** going on.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:16 PM - 7thFloorRA: that guy that caught it is tall
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:16 PM - tripleguy: Narveson - so chat cridentials matter here? You are MM.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:16 PM - Narveson: It wasn't the FG's in the 1st Quarter that lost the game for the Pack. It was the play calling in the 4th Quarter that did us in.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:16 PM - desertdog55: its like watching a ****ing cartoon, except cartoon characters have more talent
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:17 PM - Narveson: When I haven't seen you, yes it does tripleguy
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:17 PM - 7thFloorRA: he is 6'5
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:18 PM - 7thFloorRA: If Rodgers didn't throw that god awful pick in the enzone then I think MM goes for it one of those times but you can't take the chance of going down there and getting no points twice.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:18 PM - tripleguy: Narv - how can you say settling for field goals helped? It's the playoffs. You have to be aggresive. Especially, playing on the road. You take it to them. You don't kick.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:18 PM - Carl: Must not be very confident the music alone would be enough for a good show
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:18 PM - Narveson: You take the points on the road
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:19 PM - jaybadger82: this halftime show needs a wardrobe malfunction
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:19 PM - Narveson: lol
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:19 PM - jaybadger82: Yep, can't trust the NFL MVP after a mistake.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:19 PM - tripleguy: In the playoffs, you try and win. You don't send your kicker out to save you when you're offense got you to the dance. Man up Narv.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:19 PM - 7thFloorRA: The Pack has also proven to be awful at scoring from the goaline. They were what 0-7 vs the Lions on that one series that had the penalty??
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:20 PM - 7thFloorRA: What in the hell does that have to do with him?? It has to do with the situation.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:20 PM - Carl: 16-0 after the 1st half. The 1st half did not lose that game. Also working unde the assumption not getting 3 would have got us 7 for sure.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:21 PM - jaybadger82: yeah- the offense was stalling in the redzone quite a bit toward the end of the season... it was a problem against NE as well (just didn't cost us the win)
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:21 PM - 7thFloorRA: It wasn't on the 10 yd line...it was on the goal line. Every MVP could have lined up at QB and Lacy probably would have been stuffed again.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:21 PM - Narveson: Exactly, you try and win. You don't run the ball 3 straight times with 5 minutes left up 5. Yet, when Seattle took the lead, THEN you saw MM open up the playbook to tie the game.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:22 PM - Carl: How does Katy Perry change clothes so fast?
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:22 PM - 7thFloorRA: The 2 biggest problems with the red zone are that these wr's are not built to win 1 on 1 jump balls and that the zone blocking can block for crap when they load the box.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:22 PM - jaybadger82: my sarcastic point is that you don't lose faith in your QB after one mistake against the best defense in the NFL... Did the Pats stop throwing in the red zone after Brady's INT tonight?
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:23 PM - Narveson: It's funny, the week prior, MM had no problem throwing the ball to run out the clock vs Dallas

Feb 1, 2015 at 5:24 PM - Narveson: decent halftime show. not to thrilled with Missy performing songs that are 13 years old
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:24 PM - jaybadger82: Katy Perry has hits but I would rather watch other ******** clad women gyrate
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:25 PM - jaybadger82: Yeah, well, mike mccarthy says mike mccarthy wouldn't change a thing so we have that to look forward to next year...
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:25 PM - jaybadger82: yeah, i prefer watching chile peppers perform 13+ year old hits. seriously.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:26 PM - Carl: MM will watch film and make changes. He doesn't have to tell us what they will be.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:26 PM - Narveson: lol
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:26 PM - jaybadger82: why is katy perry wearing a garbage bag?
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:26 PM - jaybadger82: it's like someone bedazzled a garbage bag
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:26 PM - Narveson: Can't stand the Chili Peppers so I don't think I watched that halftime show
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:26 PM - Narveson: lol
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:27 PM - Narveson: First OT Super Bowl?
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:28 PM - jaybadger82: it's ballad time!
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:28 PM - 7thFloorRA: The Seahawks also were battling the clock...not 4th down.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:30 PM - jaybadger82: i feel like they could run kitten videos for 10 minutes, save millions in production costs, and provide the same entertainment value.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:30 PM - 7thFloorRA: I didn't even watch it. Katy's lyrics were either written when she was 11 yrs old or by an 11 year old.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:31 PM - jaybadger82: By the way, I don't know roman numerals, so have been referring to this as Super Bowl "X-Licks"
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:31 PM - gatorpack: I dont like these commercials they should just leave a blank screen up during timeouts and halftime
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:31 PM - jaybadger82: which sounds like a *****, so I'm enjoying that
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:34 PM - gatorpack: Come on Pats im tired of those lucky ********
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:39 PM - 7thFloorRA: Kicking there was more comparable to the situation where MM kicked as opposed to the 6 seconds but NOT 4th down to end the half.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:40 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Angry Neesom. Nice
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:41 PM - jaybadger82: OK, 7th. I don't really care which situation it was more analogous to. It just gave me a chance to criticize MM's conservatism.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:42 PM - jaybadger82: Probably not a fair shot on my part. I'm still smarting from the NFC Championship meltdown.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:42 PM - JK64: you too?
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:43 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Mike needs to be in that Challenger commercial. "Put the pedal to the medal ". Lol
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:44 PM - jaybadger82: LOL, Twiddle. Plus, it would make me forgive him a bit because it would like admitting his **** up.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:45 PM - Circa1919: The score is close, you'd think this would seem less boring.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:46 PM - Twiddlemylobes: I believe MM will have us back in that very position. He's that good
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:46 PM - jaybadger82: The Angry Neeson commercial made me chuckle... so did the Breaking Bad themed esurance ad
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:46 PM - desertdog55: So, since the Seachickens DC is leaving for Atlanta, does that mean their defense will suck next year?
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:47 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Seattle has a way of making good teams pay
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:47 PM - jaybadger82: Well, I think MM is consistently very good and I think there's a strong chance we could get back there. I just feel like he's a mediocre to weak game coach.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:48 PM - jaybadger82: i keep wondering if we can lure schneider back to GB after TT hangs it up...
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:48 PM - Twiddlemylobes: In think Brady is having problems "gripping" the ball
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:49 PM - Circa1919: As much as I admire Sherman as a player I cringe whenever I hear him say he tries to be a positive influence. Being a loudmouth ******* isn't going to give our youth any favors

Feb 1, 2015 at 5:51 PM - gatorpack: I hate Seahawks
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:51 PM - jaybadger82: I thought the same thing about Brady when he lost that ball trying to pull it back... would love it if some talking heads would bring that up...
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:52 PM - JK64: MM call there.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:52 PM - gatorpack: lol wilson has like 5 passes and he is something special. I like how he picked brady twice
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:53 PM - jaybadger82: the picks that NE is running are ridiculous. at some point it needs to be flagged
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:54 PM - Narveson: Nice pick by the umpire
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:55 PM - gatorpack: I hate seahawks
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:55 PM - gatorpack: They come to us next year right??
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:56 PM - Narveson: Yes. Seattle comes to lambda next year
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:56 PM - Narveson: lambeau
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:56 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Wilson is good but he definitely is the benefactor of a stellar defensive will
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:56 PM - jaybadger82: lambda, lambda, lambda? -Google it kids.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:57 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Yes. Seattle at Lambeau. Rematch
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:57 PM - pacmaniac: Until MM proves otherwise, those are automatic losses against SF and SEA next year.
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:58 PM - gatorpack: We will beat them next year. Just finish the job
Feb 1, 2015 at 5:58 PM - red4tribe: Pats need points
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:00 PM - pacmaniac: They never trailed by 10 in a SB before
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:01 PM - jaybadger82: Former Wisconsin Badger, Russ Wilson.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:01 PM - tripleguy: Former Rose Bowl choke, Russ Wilson.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:03 PM - jaybadger82: Pfff... the NFC Championship two weeks ago was a choke. That Rose Bowl was a closs loss to a great team (that was violating NCAA rules at the time)
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:06 PM - tripleguy: ...and Wilson choked in Q4. But hey, who remembers that?
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:06 PM - JK64: MM would be mr. conservative here.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:07 PM - jaybadger82: So it's important for you to broadcast that Russell Wilson isn't perfect?
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:08 PM - JK64: drop
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:08 PM - pacmaniac: Tramon should've done that to break it up
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:09 PM - jaybadger82: ...Because I won't tell you he's never made mistakes. I will tell you that the Badgers wouldn't have made that Rose Bowl without him. As a UW fan, I appreciate what he did for the Badgers.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:09 PM - pacmaniac: Will this be a blow to Belichick's & Brady's legacy? Losing 3 straight SBs is pretty bad.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:10 PM - jaybadger82: not over yet... (unless Seattle starts playing the clock)
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:10 PM - JK64: We could've beat the Pats.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:11 PM - Greenbaypackers77: Man I hope they can pull this out. Dont want to hear these fans all year
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:11 PM - desertdog55: I guess being arrogant doesn't really matter, as long as you can back it up.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:11 PM - JK64: It was one of those losses
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:12 PM - Greenbaypackers77: yep
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:12 PM - Greenbaypackers77: just think this could be us winning
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:13 PM - Greenbaypackers77: how long will it take for us to get back to the point we were this year

Feb 1, 2015 at 6:13 PM - jaybadger82: agreed
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:13 PM - desertdog55: I think the AFC as a whole was overrated. The Patriots aren't that good.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:13 PM - pacmaniac: The great players/teams usually do act like a-holes. Jordan was the ultimate a-hole. Nice guys (like MM) usually don't win.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:14 PM - Greenbaypackers77: true
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:14 PM - JK64: MM call there
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:14 PM - Greenbaypackers77: its over, the Pats are going to tank can just smell it
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:14 PM - jaybadger82: hard to say... would've liked to see us part ways with slocum and capers, get some fresh ideas there. add speed to the middle of the defense. we could get back there... maybe like the spurs a couple years ago
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:14 PM - adambr2: Awful 3rd down call. Never had a chance
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:15 PM - pacmaniac: So Matthews will win MVP?
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:15 PM - thequick12: Capers is fine
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:15 PM - Carl: No chance because nobody blocked.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:16 PM - adambr2: Easier said than done when they're stacking the box and know what's coming the whole way.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:16 PM - Carl: Even if it was a pass, if the execution was that bad it wouldn't have worked.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:17 PM - adambr2: The weakness of the AFC is what makes the Seattle loss so painful. I'd like to try to convince myself that we would have lost to New England today anyway but I can't.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:17 PM - 7thFloorRA: We barely beat them at home in what I think was one of MM's best coached games of his career.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:17 PM - jaybadger82: well, i respectfully disagree, quick. we gave up 200 yards starting with the last five minutes of the game... some weird stuff going on during OT with the defense. to me, defense has been the more consistent issue with this team and a change in leadership may be due...
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:18 PM - JK64: agreed
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:18 PM - pacmaniac: I think the Patriots would have played better against the Packers today. They already game planned for us this season, and could make the adjustments.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:18 PM - JK64: but we did beat them, not barely
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:18 PM - JK64: I think we win.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:19 PM - jaybadger82: doesn't matter. we're not playing the patriots.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:20 PM - Twiddlemylobes: We need to trade up high draft for a stud LB
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:20 PM - Carl: We'd have to get rid of a lot to get high up. Way too much.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:21 PM - Zartan: GG NEc
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:21 PM - jaybadger82: i don't necessarily think an impact ILB will require trading up...
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:21 PM - Zartan: GG NE WP
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:22 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Or a Brandon spikes consistency player
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:22 PM - 7thFloorRA: HTF is that not apenalty on chancellor
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:23 PM - pacmaniac: Definitely a blown opportunity though, we would have had a chance... maybe Capers puts together another good game plan like last week.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:23 PM - adambr2: The Jekyll and Hyde personality of our D is troubling. It's baffling to look so good for 55 min and so bad for 5.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:23 PM - Zartan: Pats gotta get going
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:23 PM - 7thFloorRA: way to hit with your helmet and spear him right in the head
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:24 PM - Zartan: CM3 was out for final few min
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:24 PM - pacmaniac: Not baffling at all, we were raising the champagne glasses with 5 minutes to go. Mentally checked out of the game.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:24 PM - jaybadger82: exactly adam, especially given the portion of the cap we've devoted to that side of the ball...

Feb 1, 2015 at 6:25 PM - Zartan: CM3 needs to focus on football and stop doing ads and ****** movies
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:25 PM - jaybadger82: it's not that i hate capers but i think the d gets a boost from fresh leadership...
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:25 PM - Greenbaypackers77: Agree
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:25 PM - Green and Gold: the guys you least expect make the big differences in big games
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:25 PM - pacmaniac: Maybe Rodgers too?
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:25 PM - Greenbaypackers77: no
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:26 PM - pacmaniac: Brady doesn't do too many ads
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:26 PM - red4tribe: Getting the three on the first drive from the pats hurts now
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:26 PM - Zartan: Come on Pats
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:26 PM - Greenbaypackers77: LMAO Rodgers too
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:26 PM - Zartan: Rodgers too
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:27 PM - Zartan: ouch
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:27 PM - Green and Gold: bad throw that should of been a easy touchdown
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:27 PM - Zartan: Yes!
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:27 PM - Greenbaypackers77: down 3
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:27 PM - Greenbaypackers77: come on
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:27 PM - Green and Gold: td
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:27 PM - Zartan: TD Pats
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:28 PM - Zartan: Now can the Pats D Weather the storm
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:28 PM - Twiddlemylobes: I gotta feeling the Pats win
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:28 PM - pacmaniac: The Pats have put up 3 TDs against this great Seattle D. Why couldn't our top-scoring O do the same??
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:29 PM - adambr2: Red zone O
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:29 PM - Zartan: I want to see Tom win 1 final Ring
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:29 PM - Zartan: Dat Redzone O
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:29 PM - adambr2: It's been a problem for a couple years
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:29 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Aaron wasn't on his throws. I believe his balance was affected
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:30 PM - adambr2: Our O can move the ball just fine its finishing off drives that we struggle with
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:30 PM - jaybadger82: Why the **** is it important for "tom" to win another ring?
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:30 PM - pacmaniac: Although Rodgers had 2 healthy legs in the 2010 NFC Championship game and played just as bad.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:30 PM - Greenbaypackers77: Retire?
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:31 PM - adambr2: I don't care if Tom wins another ring or not, but some broken Seattle hearts might ease the pain of 2 weeks ago
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:32 PM - Twiddlemylobes: 2010. Really ? Lol. :sneaky:
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:33 PM - Zartan: I hopw RW tosses a pick 6
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:33 PM - pacmaniac: Nice graphic showing the Packers getting shut down in the 4th by both teams
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:34 PM - JK64: bob kraft has deep pockets

Feb 1, 2015 at 6:34 PM - Twiddlemylobes: It's a game baby
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:34 PM - jaybadger82: i was asking zartan (see above). not sure how the outcome of this one mitigates the NFC Championship we blew. hell, if SEA wins at least u can say we lost to the champs. i don't talk to enough seattle fans to be bothered by them, at least not anymore than entitled boston sports fans.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:34 PM - JK64: The Packers shut themselves down.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:34 PM - Twiddlemylobes: This drive is really really big
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:35 PM - Zartan: Kraft has deep pockets but not like Jerry Jones
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:35 PM - Rodgers in the House: Yes. Nice. Fk these guys.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:35 PM - Zartan: I hate Seattle fans
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:35 PM - pacmaniac: If Seattle wins, it proves that we threw away a Super Bowl title.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:35 PM - jaybadger82: sounds reasonable
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:35 PM - JK64: I hate NE fans too.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:35 PM - Rodgers in the House: agreed
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:35 PM - Zartan: Atleast the pats fans been around longer
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:36 PM - Cheesehead625: I don't even know what to do... is there any way this game can end in mutual destruction
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:36 PM - Zartan: There were no hawk fans prior to few years ago
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:36 PM - jaybadger82: lol- yep cheesehead, i've been rooting for injuries
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:36 PM - Rodgers in the House: Brady scores with 5 mins left and Pats pull a MM to lose.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:36 PM - JK64: Yeah that Pats fans have been around since bill parcels.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:36 PM - Twiddlemylobes: It's like the lesser of 2 evils Zartan. An "enemy of my enemy is my friend" kinda love
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:37 PM - 7thFloorRA: How much does Baldwin get fined for celebrating by theatrically taking a **** on the ball
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:37 PM - Zartan: I know more great pat fans over hawk fans
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:38 PM - Twiddlemylobes: I saw a clip of belicheck sitting on a game ball !!
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:38 PM - jaybadger82: sounds like good scientific methodology behind that opinion, zartan
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:39 PM - Zartan: I know
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:39 PM - Zartan: I hate the hawks
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:39 PM - Rodgers in the House: I see whats happening now
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:40 PM - Rodgers in the House: tick tock
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:40 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Hawks going down
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:40 PM - Zartan: Down daHawks
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:41 PM - Zartan: poop
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:41 PM - 7thFloorRA: WTF!!! With the crap seattle gets away with you call that ****??? come on
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:41 PM - Zartan: Dats BS
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:42 PM - Zartan: Gronk!
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:42 PM - Zartan: Dat man isa beast
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:42 PM - Twiddlemylobes: C'mon Pats. In the words of the great will Ferrell "lets do this!"
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:43 PM - Zartan: Will Ferral is at the game

Feb 1, 2015 at 6:43 PM - Rodgers in the House: Vereen is like Starks
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:43 PM - Circa1919: Will Ferrell is a Hawk backer here
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:43 PM - Zartan: Gronk again
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:43 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Sherman normally is knocking 'em down. Seems he knocked one up
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:44 PM - Zartan: Good game
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:44 PM - jaybadger82: clock should have been stopped after that gronk catch. the ref coming in to stop forward progress was ridiculous there.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:44 PM - JK64: mm would call a run up the middle
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:45 PM - Zartan: These refs are shady as ****
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:45 PM - Rodgers in the House: he didnt run out by himself thats why the clock kept going
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:45 PM - Rodgers in the House: No. MM will give it to Kuhn on all three downs
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:45 PM - jaybadger82: they missed that PI on NE with SEA's last drive... that one was bad
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:46 PM - Circa1919: They'll probably pull some NFL PR here
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:46 PM - Rodgers in the House: and then a Cobb run on 4th and 9.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:46 PM - jaybadger82: but it made for this more entertaining finale
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:46 PM - Carl: The passes didn't work in the red zone last week either...
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:46 PM - pacmaniac: Belichick will go for it on 4th at the 1
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:47 PM - PackManDan: I'm nervous here. I feel the Patriots will score but will give seattle enough time to score which won't give NE any more time to answer
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:47 PM - jaybadger82: it's like SEA would be better off giving up the TD and saving clock
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:47 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Great finish
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:47 PM - tripleguy: Nothing much worked in the RZ for us.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:47 PM - Rodgers in the House: MM would have Rodgers take a knee to get the clock to keep moving.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:47 PM - Carl: No complaints about thag run since MM didn't call it?
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:47 PM - pacmaniac: Great D my a--. 4 TDs against them.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:47 PM - Zartan: Yeaaaa TD Pats
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:47 PM - 7thFloorRA: Why why why can't MM ever draw that up
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:47 PM - PackManDan: Yea but seattle has more than enough time. all they need is a FG
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:47 PM - PackManDan: don't like this
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:47 PM - Zartan: IKR
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:48 PM - jaybadger82: they just picked on simon
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:48 PM - Zartan: MM take notes
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:48 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Tame them big britches
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:48 PM - PackManDan: oops I meant TD
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:48 PM - jaybadger82: hopefully MM/AR would know to do that under the circumstances...
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:48 PM - red4tribe: A lot of time for Wilson
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:48 PM - Rodgers in the House: They need more than a FG

Feb 1, 2015 at 6:48 PM - Rodgers in the House: They have to actually earn this one.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:48 PM - 7thFloorRA: good thing Wilson is guided by higher powers. he will go right down the field
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:48 PM - Circa1919: Wilson will win on a Hail Mary
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:48 PM - Rodgers in the House: Refs bank accounts just got fattened.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:49 PM - Circa1919: He's the luckiest fool in the NFL
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:49 PM - adambr2: How is a FG going to help Seattle?
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:49 PM - pacmaniac: Only lucky against the Packers
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:49 PM - MadCat: 7th, mm has his two red zone plays and he's sticking with 'em!
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:49 PM - PackManDan: I feel the seahawks will win this one, some way some how. they get so damn lucky. Like all the stars align
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:49 PM - adambr2: Ah now I see it
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:49 PM - Zartan: Wilson wins on Game Winning INT
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:49 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Lol circa. Please NOO!
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:49 PM - 7thFloorRA: help the people that bet on them maybe...
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:49 PM - Rodgers in the House: NE's defense better play like a bunch of wild beasts.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:50 PM - 7thFloorRA: he is going to try and play action bomb it
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:50 PM - Twiddlemylobes: The luck stops with the buck
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:50 PM - Zartan: Dis gon b gud

Feb 1, 2015 at 6:50 PM - red4tribe: Too much time for wilson
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:50 PM - Rodgers in the House: even though the game is close it still feels ho hum.
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:50 PM - pacmaniac: wow
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:50 PM - Zartan: damn
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:51 PM - Rodgers in the House: wow. that's not wild beast like
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:51 PM - jaybadger82: well, i'm pretty sure rodger goodell is givng robert kraft head right now...
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:51 PM - pacmaniac: this guy makes the throws when he needs to
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:51 PM - Zartan: Come on RW toss an INT
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:51 PM - red4tribe: I think it feels meh since we basically should be there
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:51 PM - 7thFloorRA: can't get beat like that by a RB
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:51 PM - Zartan: Look Favre
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:52 PM - Rodgers in the House: Favre & Carve
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:52 PM - Zartan: Favre n Carve
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:52 PM - pacmaniac: Sure, Lynch catches that, but Starks couldn't catch it late in the game
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:53 PM - Zartan: Wish we could do dat
Feb 1, 2015 at 6:53 PM - red4tribe: The Patriots are in the super bowl so inevitably it'll be decided by 4 points or less
