Aug 29, 2015 at 7:19 PM - gonzozab: This isn't a good sign. https://instagram.com/p/6_Yavwrq1A/
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:19 PM - ls1bob: Well. Good news is I can skip the game tomorrow morning on NFLN
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:22 PM - 7thFloorRA: who is #78? THere is one amazing gif opportunity for someone to make with him and MM. He was hip thrust stretching right behind MM coming out of a commercial break.
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:23 PM - njpackersfan: throw it to the other "white" guy
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:24 PM - Kitten: I see what you did there nj. I like the other "white" guy. That was a good catch.
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:25 PM - dbain21: theres the other white guy
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:25 PM - Shawnsta3: Looks like a backup qb to me
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:26 PM - Kitten: Seriously that was a solid catch. If only it were inbounds.
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:26 PM - dbain21: Hundley has been super solid
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:28 PM - 7thFloorRA: That was a nice catch by Blackman
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:30 PM - desertdog55: backup QB competition is a good problem to have....
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:30 PM - njpackersfan: he don't look scared back there
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:31 PM - 7thFloorRA: This is really good for his evaluation. I think he makes the team. He has weathered the storm tonight quite well IMO
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:32 PM - 7thFloorRA: I am actually glad to hear it is Hyde's neck...seeing as he was on a cart making us fear his knee. He wasn't spineboarded so it can't be that bad. He was just chillin on the cart sitting up.
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:33 PM - Voltron: agree he is doing well. and there are a lot of scouts at the game so he will make team
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:35 PM - desertdog55: There are some teams out there, I guarantee, taking a look at him and Tolzein.....
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:37 PM - njpackersfan: see another flag
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:38 PM - adambr2: It's unreal how often we get called for holding /illegal block on punts nowhere near the ball
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:38 PM - dbain21: How many flags is that now for the Packers special teams unit?
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:39 PM - Carl: 8
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:39 PM - njpackersfan: I think MM needs to throw some chairs after the game
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:40 PM - gonzozab: Sadly it's too late to fire Zook. We'll just have to live with shoddy ST for yet another year.
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:40 PM - dbain21: Maybe but these refs have been ticky tacky
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:40 PM - gonzozab: And defense
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:42 PM - Jeff: Ehh
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:44 PM - 7thFloorRA: I kind of like Blanchard
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:44 PM - Rodgers in the House: Any news on Cobb? Are we going to have any receivers for week 1?
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:44 PM - 7thFloorRA: I wish Zook would go back to U of I. I really don't care for him being in charge of special teams.
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:46 PM - dbain21: honestly i like all of our qb's
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:46 PM - Kitten: Now I'm liking Blanchard.
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:46 PM - dbain21: huge improvement from 2 years ago in that area
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:47 PM - 7thFloorRA: Blanchard knows right where to put the ball and has the arm to get it there
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:48 PM - Kitten: I'd hate to be the guys who have to decide which of these backups makes the roster. They're all good.
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:49 PM - dbain21: Ya that's gotta stink. As a fan though its a good problem
Aug 29, 2015 at 7:52 PM - dbain21: Guys it's tebow time

Aug 29, 2015 at 8:22 PM - dbain21: thats a fake account
Aug 29, 2015 at 8:24 PM - dbain21: Packers had more total yards, time of possession and first downs in the game
Aug 29, 2015 at 8:24 PM - The program 61: really?
Aug 29, 2015 at 8:24 PM - The program 61: now i can sleep tonight
Aug 29, 2015 at 8:24 PM - The program 61: damn you google all i did was type packers news

Aug 29, 2015 at 8:27 PM - The program 61: big difference
Aug 29, 2015 at 8:32 PM - TeamTundra: Hyde has a neck spasm
Aug 29, 2015 at 8:32 PM - TeamTundra: Sounds like it was minor
Aug 29, 2015 at 8:34 PM - The program 61: in highschool if you say anything about your neck they have to take you out and to hospital wonder if same is for nfl
Aug 29, 2015 at 8:35 PM - TeamTundra: Much more advanced medical equipment at an NFL stadium
Aug 29, 2015 at 8:37 PM - dbain21: Ya all sounds pretty ok with injuries at this point..hopefully cobb will be fine in 2 weeks
Aug 29, 2015 at 8:38 PM - 7thFloorRA: my wife is a former football ATC and she said judging from what she could see on TV he probably had a grade 1 separation and would be 2-4 weeks...closer to 2
Aug 29, 2015 at 8:39 PM - 7thFloorRA: Pepper would say 4 but Pepper is not in charge anymore

Aug 30, 2015 6:54 AM - Vrill: Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 10h10 hours ago Sounds like #Packers dodged a bullet with Randall Cobb’s injury. Teammates left believing it’s minor, that it’s likely just a sprain.
Aug 30, 2015 7:36 AM - Jdeed: Well looks like they need to start thinking about those back up WR's even more so. I did wonder why Rodgers did not play this last game and get in some live reps with the other WR's
Aug 30, 2015 7:41 AM - Green and Gold: Our starting defense got abused by Eagles. All in all was a really disappointing performance. What can Forte and Lynch do to us in the first two weeks...
Aug 30, 2015 8:08 AM - dbain21: Lets be happy they performed so poor in pre-season It'll give them time to correct the mistakes. Lets not forget the 1st string D has done well in the previous 2 preseason games
Aug 30, 2015 8:41 AM - Raptorman: I think the Defense needs to check it's pad level. I'll know more after I see the tape. :)
Aug 30, 2015 9:00 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Last night, the starters on Defense looked as though they were all wearing a differn't type of pad
Aug 30, 2015 9:22 AM - dbain21: I see what you did there
Aug 30, 2015 11:02 AM - MiamiBeachPacker: Any news on cuts?
Aug 30, 2015 11:36 AM - JK64: Yeah, they cut the whole defense.
Aug 30, 2015 12:05 PM - Eli Haugen: so i wake up and see some dude of facebook writes nelson and cobb lost, now what? i was sick for a second...
Aug 30, 2015 12:29 PM - Vrill: Call me bias because im a Frogs fan, but Paul Dawson has looked damn good for the Bengals. I wanted the Packers to draft him......
Aug 30, 2015 1:04 PM - Narveson: Cobb isn't lost
Aug 30, 2015 1:12 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Yeah I'm not worried yet, preseason gives me little concern, and unless Cobb's injury turns out much more serious than anticipated, I think we'll be right back in the mix come week 1
Aug 30, 2015 1:19 PM - TeamTundra: Cobb has an AC joint sprain and is considered a minor injury and week to week. He may still be available week one.
Aug 30, 2015 1:20 PM - pacmaniac: So I guess MM has immunity this year since he has the Jordy injury excuse if they don't win the SB
Aug 30, 2015 1:21 PM - TeamTundra: From my understanding the Cobb news is after going through an MRI
Aug 30, 2015 1:25 PM - Narveson: Per Ian Rapaport's twitter: After his MRI, #Packers WR Randall Cobb has an AC joint sprain, source said. It’s minor. No word on Week 1, but could have been much worse
Aug 30, 2015 1:28 PM - dbain21: Besides not getting injured that seems like the best news possible
Aug 30, 2015 2:28 PM - Narveson: From ESPN Sportscenter twitter: Packers believe Randall Cobb has good chance to play in regular-season opener. (via @RobDemovsky)
Aug 30, 2015 2:40 PM - MiamiBeachPacker: At least there is some good injury news
Aug 30, 2015 2:42 PM - Vltrophy: Good chance Cobb can play week one. We can only pray it's true & he's at least 80% or better
Aug 30, 2015 3:17 PM - adambr2: MM has immunity this year either way. You don't take your team to 3 NFCCG's, 5 division titles, a Superbowl championship, and make the playoffs 6 years in a row and find yourself out of a job after one bad year
Aug 30, 2015 3:19 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Yup we've made the playoffs what, 6 straight years? Hadn't done that since Holmgren left, and there's no way MM is getting let go, doing so would be unbelievably stupid
Aug 30, 2015 3:31 PM - Voltron: Look at the brights side. Bear still suck. .even if Cobb can play we can still give him the day off bc we will have the best qb playing for us, .jay .cutler
Aug 30, 2015 3:39 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Yeah gotta be thinkin Cutler's on his last year around now
Aug 30, 2015 3:52 PM - Vrill: We'll still be a 12-13 win team this year.
Aug 30, 2015 4:03 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I think this is our year to win the SB, Seattle's going to be not as good even with Jimmy Graham, Packers playing with a chip on their shoulder, got Dallas at home and there's no guarantee they're going to follow up last year's record with a similar one, only team I might be concerned about is a resurgent NYG team, but hopefully the hopes they got out there will be dashed
Aug 30, 2015 5:03 PM - The program 61: honest opinion packers defense on fantasy football or miami
Aug 30, 2015 5:04 PM - The program 61: and terrence williams do i keep him or find someone else hes on my bench if anyone cares to help me lol
Aug 30, 2015 5:13 PM - 7thFloorRA: Bostick got cut by the Vikings....no shock there. Tim Jennings though....he was one of the only defensive players on the bears that didnt suck
Aug 30, 2015 7:54 PM - lambeaulambo: miami d.
Aug 30, 2015 7:55 PM - lambeaulambo: williams is spotty
Aug 30, 2015 7:55 PM - lambeaulambo: lol Bostick...banana hands

Aug 31, 2015 at 6:09 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Washington was trying to trade RG III, no takers.....what a washout that #2 pick was
Aug 31, 2015 at 9:24 AM - sjb12681: Saying Snyder blocked the move. Saying they want to cut him outright
Aug 31, 2015 at 9:29 AM - Wildcatk23: RG3 will be successful somewhere else.
Aug 31, 2015 at 10:22 AM - Pokerbrat2000: successful doing what? I haven't watched him play a lot, but as fragile as he seems to be, he doesn't impress me as an NFL QB in the way he plays the game
Aug 31, 2015 at 11:09 AM - Vrill: Seahawks released former Alabama WR Kevin Norwood. Maybe we should kick those tires.
Aug 31, 2015 at 11:23 AM - adambr2: Eh. If he can't crack the Seahawks WR corps I don't see him being an upgrade over any of our internal options.
Aug 31, 2015 at 11:48 AM - Vrill: Or maybe he was used wrong.
Aug 31, 2015 at 11:54 AM - 7thFloorRA: RG3 sounds like a complete lost cause. I don't know how he carries himself but it seems as if every single person around him can't stand him
Aug 31, 2015 at 12:14 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Buffalo finally gave up on Fred Jackson
Aug 31, 2015 at 12:35 PM - MiamiBeachPacker: Any reason you like Norwood?
Aug 31, 2015 at 12:50 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Norwood was actually traded to the Panthers, not released.
Aug 31, 2015 at 12:50 PM - Pokerbrat2000: probably for a 6 pack of average beer
Aug 31, 2015 at 2:51 PM - Vrill: ohh he was traded, not released....and because Norwood was a great WR in College...tough..plays special teams too.....
Aug 31, 2015 at 3:16 PM - The program 61: The Green Bay Packers have released LB Tavarus Dantzler, T Fabbians Ebbele, LB Josh Francis, DT Lavon Hooks and T Vince Kowalski. Read more: http://www.packers.com/news-and-eve...dcc-0ffb-4b5d-b4b5-ef15650d5af6#ixzz3kQwn8cmG
Aug 31, 2015 at 3:24 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Thanks program.....no real surprises there
Aug 31, 2015 at 3:25 PM - adambr2: No big surprises. Thought Hooks could have been a practice squad guy but don't see that happening if they didn't want to keep him around for the last preseason game.

Sep 1, 2015 7:17 AM - sjb12681: Boykin just cut from Carolina. Waiver claim to GB coming soon
Sep 1, 2015 7:49 AM - adambr2: Kind of worrisome that he couldn't make a team that has Devin Funchess at their #1 WR. But maybe they put in a claim on him.
Sep 1, 2015 8:03 AM - sjb12681: My thoughts are that Newton needs a LARGE target. Big wingspan guys who can blcreate a larger radius to catch a ball due to his accuracy issues.
Sep 1, 2015 8:25 AM - MiamiBeachPacker: I really doubt they will bring him back
Sep 1, 2015 8:45 AM - 7thFloorRA: He was horrendous last year. I can't imagine him even being a thought in the minds of the staff and front office.
Sep 1, 2015 10:39 AM - The program 61: this is cool website
Sep 1, 2015 10:39 AM - The program 61: http://www.wisinfo.biz/packersroster/build-roster/
Sep 1, 2015 10:39 AM - The program 61: i dont think cap room sound right though
Sep 1, 2015 10:49 AM - adambr2: Yeah the salary cap is right but they should have adjusted for our carryover from last year and I don't think they did. And they assume that every practice squad eligible player clears waivers which isn't going to happen. It is pretty neat though.
Sep 1, 2015 11:15 AM - Pokerbrat2000: $ 129,156,242 was my final amount spent lol
Sep 1, 2015 11:16 AM - MiamiBeachPacker: Looks like Hubbard was also released
Sep 1, 2015 11:17 AM - Pokerbrat2000: I had high hopes for Hubbard when the Pack signed him as an UDFA last year, great size, great school, but he just never seemed to show much
Sep 1, 2015 11:18 AM - Pokerbrat2000: He could still spend another year on the PS though and that may be where he is headed
Sep 1, 2015 11:25 AM - The program 61: he really could be peppers .5 since no one can be 2.0 of pepers
Sep 1, 2015 11:35 AM - 7thFloorRA: I heard Clemens IIRC on the radio last week saying that Hubbard is about as awful of a guy as it gets. Arrogant, fragile, lazy..... He just lit him up
Sep 1, 2015 11:38 AM - The program 61: sad i had hopes for him had the size looks like tarzan plays like jane
Sep 1, 2015 11:46 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Something didn't sit right with most teams and Hubbard. Just looked it up and pre-draft in 2014 he was being predicted to go somewhere in Rd 3-4. LAst comment in that report was "Has upside if the light bulb comes on"
Sep 1, 2015 11:47 AM - Pokerbrat2000: guess the bulb never got fully screwed in
Sep 1, 2015 12:00 PM - The program 61: lol!
Sep 1, 2015 12:02 PM - 7thFloorRA: I think the light bulb is located in his backside and not his head unfortunately.
Sep 1, 2015 12:10 PM - The program 61: not seeing where hubbard was released
Sep 1, 2015 12:25 PM - Cheesehead625: Nick Toon got cut. He's got a bloodline and he's 6'4". Might be worth a look as we are lacking some height now
Sep 1, 2015 12:27 PM - The program 61: i agree hes worth it
Sep 1, 2015 12:27 PM - The program 61: but again he played with brees whose a great qb
Sep 1, 2015 12:28 PM - Cheesehead625: and Aaron is better lol
Sep 1, 2015 1:01 PM - sschind: I don't tink the Saints are stacked at WR either so Toon probably falls into the same category as Boykin. Guys that just can't get it done. He's had several years in their system and can't make it we don't need guys like that.
Sep 1, 2015 1:04 PM - MiamiBeachPacker: I saw the news about Hubbard over on the ESPN Packers blog
Sep 1, 2015 1:22 PM - Cheesehead625: I guess he's injured and that's why they are releasing him. Nm
Sep 1, 2015 1:55 PM - The program 61: lights are on but no one is home. I just read his twitter page and yea.......
Sep 1, 2015 2:02 PM - Vltrophy: Montgomery is battling a tight hamstring
Sep 1, 2015 2:38 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Nelson....Cobb...Montgomery.....who is next?
Sep 1, 2015 2:50 PM - The program 61: cobb expected to play per packers.com
Sep 1, 2015 2:55 PM - sjb12681: DE Phil Taylor just releaseed from the Browns. Any interest in a 27 year old big body DL? He was pretty productive against the run
Sep 1, 2015 3:03 PM - MiamiBeachPacker: Packers down to 75 players
Sep 1, 2015 3:10 PM - The program 61: now why wouldnt the browns want him

Sep 1, 2015 at 4:28 PM - Raptorman: Because their 2015 1st round pick beat him out.
Sep 1, 2015 at 4:29 PM - Raptorman: He has been paid already, so someone can get him for Vet min.
Sep 1, 2015 at 4:58 PM - 7thFloorRA: I would give him a look. The Patriots probably already have him under contract though.
Sep 1, 2015 at 8:38 PM - Green and Gold: Will be interesting to see if Blanchard gets picked up by someone else. I can't imagine him going to our practice squad. Even though he played well, there's no reason to keep four QBs total.
Sep 1, 2015 at 8:44 PM - Green and Gold: Tolzien is going to favor Abbrederis so much Thursday, they were teammates for a bit at UW. Cobb isnt playing. So our top 3 Wr's Thursday will be Janis, White, Abby. Hopefully he can make the best of it.
Sep 1, 2015 at 8:59 PM - 7thFloorRA: I think Blanchard has been on too many Practice Squads already to be on it again. Im not sure with the rule changes though.

Sep 2, 2015 at 8:34 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Blanchard has one more season of eligibility on the PS. Not sure the Packers will keep him though, unless they think Tolzien is done after this year.
Sep 2, 2015 at 11:48 AM - Green and Gold: Hope Abbrederis makes it and stays healthy.
Sep 2, 2015 at 12:28 PM - PackersBacker: Check out my new blog guys! http://theyoungfan.wix.com/fantasyfootball
Sep 2, 2015 at 3:17 PM - lambeaulambo: Abby making the final 53 is as buggah bill would say, RUBBISH!!
Sep 2, 2015 at 4:49 PM - Vrill: yes, goodluck to Abby!
Sep 2, 2015 at 8:40 PM - Voltron: In the ask Vic section it said dont be suprise if we see .blanchard back in GB soon. I wonder if that means practice sqaud if not picked up?
Sep 2, 2015 at 8:41 PM - Voltron: does it seem like .sept 13 is taking for ever to get here? or is it just me?

Sep 3, 2015 5:49 AM - Poppa San: Those at the game tonight come to my concession stand.
Sep 3, 2015 5:50 AM - Poppa San: Section 106. Pix in my gallery.
Sep 3, 2015 5:53 AM - Poppa San: Only the cute brunette at the register knows me as her poppa.
Sep 3, 2015 7:18 AM - Vltrophy: So ready for football lets go already
Sep 3, 2015 7:28 AM - The program 61: brady free
Sep 3, 2015 7:34 AM - Vrill: My Frogs play tonight! I'll be switching back and forth
Sep 3, 2015 7:37 AM - desertdog55: I agree with Rodgers, this was a non-scandal. Glad it's over. I can't stand Brady, but really this is a non-issue.
Sep 3, 2015 7:57 AM - Vltrophy: Brady spent more $$$$$$$$$$ on his lawyers then his fine.
Sep 3, 2015 7:58 AM - Vltrophy: I'm sure the NFL will appeal but if they're smart they'll let it go even if Brady is guilty
Sep 3, 2015 8:52 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: ahahahaha suck it Goodell
Sep 3, 2015 8:53 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: I am so glad they slammed that awful commish, the good guys always win roger
Sep 3, 2015 9:11 AM - buggybill2003: I`m no fan of the commissioner, but if Brady gets away with this, What`s the point of having rules ? Agree or not, Brady cheated and refused to give information in the process. Whether Rodgers says it was no big deal or not, it was infringement of the rules....end of story.
Sep 3, 2015 9:15 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: Problem is the judge is right about the due process that this was handled and Roger Goodell had no evidence that it happened or that TB bore responsibility for this
Sep 3, 2015 9:16 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: he deserved to get slammed every bit of the way
Sep 3, 2015 9:16 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: I hope if he appeals to the higher court, that the judge just laughs and throws his appeal out the window
Sep 3, 2015 9:17 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: I don't care what other people say, this is bringing to light how bad the current CBA is and what a crappy deal it's been for the players to let this buffoon control the league
Sep 3, 2015 9:19 AM - buggybill2003: If Brady was innocent why didn`t he co-operate with the original investigation then ?
Sep 3, 2015 9:21 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: ummm because to put it in the judge's words, Goodell was enacting his "own brand of industrial justice"
Sep 3, 2015 9:23 AM - buggybill2003: I`m not looking to be confrontational here, but I just disagree. If he gets away with it, it just sets a precident.
Sep 3, 2015 9:24 AM - Raptorman: What, that Goodall can make up the rules as he goes? Because that is what he did here. He made it up as he went.
Sep 3, 2015 9:24 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: even the judge said the league had a lack of proof
Sep 3, 2015 9:24 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: Im gonna trust a judge here more so than anyone else's opinion
Sep 3, 2015 9:26 AM - buggybill2003: I stand by what I say sorry. Roger maybe needs replacing but Brady cheated.
Sep 3, 2015 9:27 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: And I say this awful commissioner is the bigger evil
Sep 3, 2015 9:27 AM - buggybill2003: Maybe the league need to supply the balls for the games ?
Sep 3, 2015 9:28 AM - buggybill2003: And I respect your opinion.
Sep 3, 2015 9:29 AM - PackerfaninCarolina:
Sep 3, 2015 9:33 AM - MiamiBeachPacker: I don't see the point in getting so worked up about Goodell
Sep 3, 2015 9:33 AM - buggybill2003: I agree
Sep 3, 2015 9:35 AM - buggybill2003: I just think Brady thinks he`s untouchable
Sep 3, 2015 9:36 AM - desertdog55: Gooooooooooooo Pack
Sep 3, 2015 9:41 AM - 7thFloorRA: Guion might as well suit up week 1 now since suspensions mean nothing
Sep 3, 2015 9:55 AM - Pokerbrat2000: unchallenged suspensions currently mean something
Sep 3, 2015 10:18 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: Look, I understand people are going to be seeing unintended consequences of if this gets overturned as "players will just get away with murder now" because Brady got let off the hook\
Sep 3, 2015 10:20 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: but you need to look at the other side which is if Roger Goodell can blow a minor infraction way out of proportion, or one that simply deserved a fine and loss of draft picks, what's to stop him from pulling something like that on our beloved Packers?

Sep 3, 2015 at 10:20 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Most suspensions are quietly appealed without a team of lawyers and its pretty straight forward. This one was off from the jump and Brady and his lawyers saw the cracks and went after them. I doubt this changes much given the unusual nature of the whole thing
Sep 3, 2015 at 10:23 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: I mean I know Rodgers hasn't won as many Superbowls as Brady, but after what he did to New Orleans, now this, there certainly is ground to believe some sort of dirt could be dug up on us
Sep 3, 2015 at 10:24 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: and last thing i need is for something trivial we did to be blown out of proportion
Sep 3, 2015 at 10:56 AM - Vrill: lol...
Sep 3, 2015 at 10:59 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: call me crazy, but the unintended consequences to this victory are far less than the big ones that would've happened had Goodell won
Sep 3, 2015 at 12:08 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Roger Goodell brought all of this on himself by his inability to negotiate with the NFLPA, ESPN2's NFL Live people were just talking about it
Sep 3, 2015 at 12:31 PM - Zartan: My wisdom teeth is killing me today
Sep 3, 2015 at 12:33 PM - Zartan: oh lawd have merthy
Sep 3, 2015 at 12:36 PM - buggybill2003: go to the dentith then
Sep 3, 2015 at 12:39 PM - Zartan: I been calling no emergecy opiments
Sep 3, 2015 at 1:52 PM - longtimefan: Z----have you looked into 24 hour dentist?? I found some on a sunday...
Sep 3, 2015 at 1:52 PM - longtimefan: or go to a walk in...might get you some anitbiotics and sme pain meds
Sep 3, 2015 at 1:54 PM - longtimefan: http://www.homeremediesweb.com/toothache-home-remedy.php
Sep 3, 2015 at 1:55 PM - longtimefan: some of those worked (slightly) for me when I had the the WORSE toothache ever....I had such an infection dentist said I wouldnt have lasted one more day w/o running to the ER
Sep 3, 2015 at 2:25 PM - Pokerbrat2000: most dentists won't touch it until the infection (and swelling) is down as well
Sep 3, 2015 at 2:26 PM - Pokerbrat2000: like LTF said.....get some antibiotics.....I slept standing up, roped to a door at times......before I gave in and went to a dentist.....prescribed antibiotics followed by a root canal a week later
Sep 3, 2015 at 3:08 PM - Green and Gold: No injuries, no injuries, no injuries Go Pack!!
Sep 3, 2015 at 3:15 PM - Green and Gold: Once they have the 53 man roster completely set is when I think more marked improvements on special teams will be made.
Sep 3, 2015 at 3:34 PM - Green and Gold: Doing the quickest lawn mowing ever before the start of this one.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:13 PM - adambr2: That was just way too ridiculously easy for the Saints
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:20 PM - bubba: I know these are mostly backups but man the defense is totally unprepared
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:21 PM - adambr2: 2 quick 3 and outs for Tolzien and Co. as well
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:21 PM - adambr2: Another beaut by Masthay
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:22 PM - bubba: Just Brutal!
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:23 PM - Voltron: very close to being blocked.... re Masthay.... anyone else getting tired of hearing this
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:23 PM - bubba: If we can get the Saints to a 3rd down on this series I would consider it a winner
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:24 PM - adambr2: Could have bought tickets to this game for 9 bucks on Stubhub...I'm beginning to see why
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:32 PM - desertdog55: overreaction time....lol
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:33 PM - sjb12681: can our pass d be this bad? I know depth is one thing, but these guys are running wide open so far
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:33 PM - sjb12681: BTW, not overreaction, this has been all preseason, from 1s to 2s, all levels of secondary vs all levels of offense.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:34 PM - sjb12681: Feels like the STs. Its not just "preseason", it feels systemic
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:34 PM - bubba: Randall looks just awful!
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:34 PM - Carl: Did we forget already the D was better the first two preseason games? Or do those not count?
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:34 PM - sjb12681: It was?
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:34 PM - sjb12681: When?

Sep 3, 2015 at 4:34 PM - adambr2: I looked through this whole page and I do not see a single overreaction to anything, not sure what that's about. The concerns on Masthay are valid.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:35 PM - bubba: Our starting D got tore up by Philly!
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:35 PM - sjb12681: I know preseason is a vanilla setup across the board, but ST is pretty standard. It would be like saying the long snapper "wasnt showing" what he can do as it is preseason
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:35 PM - Carl: The Patriots had 11 points...
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:36 PM - sjb12681: The ST looks bad. Its made even worse when you factor in that this was our major focus all offseason.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:36 PM - adambr2: Zook should have never been hired. That's not an overreaction, I said it at the time. He's a good recruiter and a lousy coach. There's nothing that hiring the understudy of a bad special teams coach is going to do to give us a good special teams this year.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:37 PM - sjb12681: Also, lets disregard this all being hurt and vanilla. These guys are still playing the majority of the game "depth to depth" or 2s vs 2s, 3s, vs 3s, bagboys vs bartenders
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:38 PM - sjb12681: Pretty much across the board, the teams we have faced, their bartenders are whooping all our bagboy depth. That doesnt bode well, for depth. Its only a concern if our starters start dropping like flies... oh wait.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:39 PM - Carl: Yup, the first game must not have happened...
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:39 PM - sjb12681: Again, not overreacting to preseason, but from a football standpoint, their crap football looks way better than our crap football so far. And thats every week of the preseason.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:40 PM - Carl: And again, we beat the Patriots...
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:41 PM - Carl: Not every week
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:41 PM - desertdog55: What was the Patriots record in the preseason last year?
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:41 PM - desertdog55: Have to look it up....
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:42 PM - adambr2: I really don't think anyone is concerned with the W/L in the pre-season. It's the individual performances the last few weeks that have been concerning. The scoreboard is meaningless, win or lose.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:42 PM - bubba: Either we have subpar defensive players or the defensive coaching is horrid. 1st to 4th string
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:42 PM - sjb12681: We do have some spots that look good. Most however look worse than bad. LB depth and DB look BAD. ST is BAD. those are not preseason over-reaches
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:43 PM - desertdog55: This is why I don't visit the shoutbox much anymore....lol
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:44 PM - adambr2: Bull, you were on here during the game last week
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:45 PM - adambr2: I think what concerns people the most is that the big questions (ILB and outside 2nd corner) have not really been answered
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:45 PM - adambr2: Barrington doesn't have a particularly high ceiling, and I think we're just looking for serviceable out of him.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:46 PM - Carl: The 2nd and 3rd stringers came back last week and actually had a shot at winning it. It's crazy how one bad quarter can make people think it's all bad all the time.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:46 PM - desertdog55: I have never seen such doom and gloom
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:47 PM - adambr2: None of the main candidates for the oustide CB spot opposite of Shields have emerged as a front-runner. Gunter looks like the best bet, so you're asking a lot for a UDFA starting CB
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:47 PM - Carl: I have. Our season was done last season after week 1
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:47 PM - desertdog55: Oh yeah I forgot.....it was
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:48 PM - adambr2: You have seriously never seen such doom and gloom? Saying the pre-season concerns have not really been answered yet is the biggest doom and gloom you've ever seen?
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:48 PM - Carl: One quarter only week 2 was pretty funny. We were probably the worst team in the league.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:48 PM - adambr2: Hyperbole alert
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:50 PM - sjb12681: wow. this stays the same each season. No one can mention a weakness that is glaring. Its all "the sky is falling" from everyone who mentions that its odd we can onyl get a 30 yard punt off. Regularly, over many punts. But we shouldnt mention it, as it would be an overreaction.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:51 PM - adambr2: I want Bradford to make this team, can see him still turning in to something
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:51 PM - Carl: An overreaction is saying all stringers have been beaten all preseaon.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:52 PM - sjb12681: But we beat a team playing for nothing in week 1 of the preseason and we should all thing "we are all awesome across the board" and disregard any sighted issues as anomaly.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:52 PM - adambr2: I expect this team to be a Super Bowl contender this year. I don't think our season is over. I would like to be able to express concerns about certain aspects of our team without the negativity police issuing me virtual citations for doing so.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:53 PM - Carl: Week 1 doesn't count but the rest do was?

Sep 3, 2015 at 4:53 PM - sjb12681: No one is over reacting. Its called a message board. Where fans discuss things they see.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:53 PM - bubba: Could we at least throw 1 ball to a WR tonight?
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:53 PM - sjb12681: Beating a team in the preseason counts for more than getting beat?
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:54 PM - bubba: Saints must have an awesome 3rd string defense.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:54 PM - Carl: It doesn't count at all.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:54 PM - adambr2: None of them count, really. Nothing counts but individual performances. And unfortunately, injuries.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:55 PM - sjb12681: I just dont get why some posters feel that a fan posting something they see is automatically considered doom and gloom.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:55 PM - sjb12681: Posting that our punting is an issue is not doom and gloom. Its simply an observation.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:55 PM - Carl: You literally cannot be reasoned with. You posted that we have been all bad for the whole preseason. That's an overreaction.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:56 PM - Carl: We beat the Pats, leading at half week 2 and had a better 2nd half than the Eagles.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:56 PM - adambr2: I like Harris over Neal, but I don't think he's got a chance, especially with the injury
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:57 PM - sjb12681: And our starters last week allowed what many would consider to be a very worrisome defensive performance. Against their starters.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:57 PM - sjb12681: When I say that, I refer to D
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:58 PM - Carl: That's a realistic observation.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:58 PM - sjb12681: I didnt think I had posted something other than a realistic one so far.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:59 PM - adambr2: I agree I'm far more concerned with starter on starter matchups than anything else. What our 3rd/4th stringers do , most of which will not play a single down for this team, doesn't really tell us anything about either team's superiority, good or bad.
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:59 PM - Carl: Again, except for saying we've bad all preseason...
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:59 PM - Carl: Yup, you literally cannot be reasoned with
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:59 PM - sjb12681: My concerns arent overblown, they are tempered. Our team is very much driven by things other than D and ST. However, I would be foolish to disregard those things as something not to be concerned with simply due to having #12 and a solid run game
Sep 3, 2015 at 4:59 PM - bubba: I agree with sjb! Our starting D was awful last week. Major concern!!
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:00 PM - sjb12681: ?!?Im not sure what I have said that cannot be reasoned with?
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:00 PM - sjb12681: Im not attempting to convince you of anything, so there is no reasoning that needs to be asserted by either side.
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:00 PM - Carl: For like the 8th time, you earlier said we have been bad the entire preseason
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:01 PM - sjb12681: oh carl...
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:01 PM - adambr2: I was wondering why they said we were punting. Didn't think there was any reason this wasn't within Mason's range
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:01 PM - Carl: For some reason you ignore that or forget it.
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:02 PM - sjb12681: You have stated we have not been bad this preseason due to beating the Pats by 10...
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:02 PM - Carl: I said we haven't been bad the whole time.
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:02 PM - sjb12681: What am I ignoring? LOL, I am done with this conversation. I apologize Carl. You are correct. We will all proceed to stop talking about anything we see as a possible weakness with our Pack.
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:02 PM - Carl: Which makes sense.
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:03 PM - sjb12681: EVERYONE!!! Listen up!
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:03 PM - sjb12681: Carl is correct! Stop worrying!!!
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:03 PM - sjb12681: Nothing to see here. See you at the Parade in February
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:03 PM - sjb12681: Mods, you can now close the board, as we have learned we have nothing to discuss for the remainder of the season
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:03 PM - Carl: You are too stupid to reason with.

Sep 3, 2015 at 5:03 PM - sjb12681: lol
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:03 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: i agree I can't wait to see preseason end so people can stop complaining about meaningless games
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:04 PM - Carl: Good luck Crosby
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:04 PM - adambr2: Hey, a good special teams coverage play
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:04 PM - sjb12681: Wow Carl, do you always insult those who disagree with you?
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:04 PM - Carl: Good kick I mean
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:04 PM - sjb12681: Why are you making it personal?
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:06 PM - adambr2: Rodgers doesn't sound incredibly confident about the young receivers stepping up
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:07 PM - Carl: Look, I've just been trying to tell you that saying the whole preseason has been bad, which you said earlier, isn't true and a overreaction. That's all.
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:08 PM - sjb12681: And I also stated that there has been good play. You are correct. Not every single play of every single preseason has been bad. You are over generalizing a statement I made, and later clarified as being focused on LB, DB and ST.
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:10 PM - sjb12681: However, telling me I am too stupid to reason with shows not only your young age, but also your disregard for others opinions. that differ from your opinion. One could say that you also would fit into that mold of being too stupid to reason with. The difference is, I am not saying it. I am triying to have a conversation on the board about what I am seeing without being insulted.
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:10 PM - sjb12681: Sorry that you disagree with my opinion, as well as those of other posters.
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:10 PM - adambr2: I'd like to see our young receivers getting open a little more than this especially against another team's 2's and 3's. It feels like the vast, vast majority of our completions have been checkdowns.
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:11 PM - adambr2: That's a nice weapon Hundley offers there
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:11 PM - sjb12681: Feel free to block me.Back to what other posters are saying, I agree AdamBR, I would like to see who can separate. I like what we have in Hundley as well
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:11 PM - sjb12681: He has to be on the active roster. No way he makes it to the PS
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:12 PM - adambr2: You could make a case that he'd make a better backup, but this is probably Tolzien's year for that job. Guessing they let Tolzien walk next year and Hundley becomes the long-term backup
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:13 PM - sjb12681: So, do we carry 3 Qbs? Based on last few seasons, I think this would be SMART
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:13 PM - Carl: Have to. Hundley too good to let go.
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:14 PM - sjb12681: The problem is... where do we cut? We have some good RBs, also cannot afford WR talent getting loose
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:14 PM - 7thFloorRA: There is a block user button. It works in here too. Its a good feature.
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:15 PM - adambr2: 3 this year for sure. Heard some speculation today that Blanchard will be invited to remain on the practice squad. 4 QB's between the active roster and practice squad is somewhat of a surprise
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:15 PM - sjb12681: I think that we may need to lose some TE play. I think Ripkoski may be gone too, hoping we can PS him
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:16 PM - adambr2: Well, Neal should make it, but yeah, Harris and Crockett have to go, maybe one back for the PS. I'd stash Rip if they can, I don't like carrying 2 FB's, but I think they'll keep him around for his ST contributions
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:16 PM - sjb12681: The key is that hundley is a gamer. Cannot let him get exposed to other teams. I think if he made it to PS, he is gone by week2
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:17 PM - Voltron: vic mentioned yesterday, dont be suprise to see blanchard back, and i read somewhere else the same thing
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:17 PM - sjb12681: Any thoughts on Janis since week 2? Word is he is still bubble
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:17 PM - azrsx05: no way Hundley goes to the practice squad. They'll have to keep 3 QBs
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:17 PM - adambr2: No way. Janis is a near-lock IMO. I say near-lock to mean he would be a shocking cut
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:18 PM - adambr2: Especially with Jordy out fo the year
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:18 PM - Carl: Janis in for sure.
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:18 PM - sjb12681: Well then.
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:18 PM - sjb12681: After that for sure makes it
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:18 PM - sjb12681: Nice leap kid!
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:19 PM - sjb12681: back shoulder slant?!? He does have very "jordy" like moves

Sep 3, 2015 at 5:19 PM - Carl: Leap just as good as the play.
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:20 PM - sjb12681: wasnt so much back shoulder as low on the replay. Either way, heck of a grab, nice way to separate
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:21 PM - Carl: They've sure stepped it up after the poor start.
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:24 PM - PackerDNA: Well, this is it for a lot of these kids. One more half to make an impression and win a job.
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:24 PM - sjb12681: Is it me or has MM taken the Rex Ryan approach to the offseason? Looks a lot slimmer. May be the beard.
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:24 PM - sjb12681: LOL
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:24 PM - 7thFloorRA: Abby is getting cut
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:24 PM - sjb12681: Just thought the same
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:25 PM - azrsx05: Abby will really have to show up the 2nd half
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:25 PM - sjb12681: Is he even eligible to stick on PS?
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:26 PM - 7thFloorRA: Yes. He has zero games on the active roster and has never been on a PS so absolutely. Will he do it is another question
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:27 PM - sjb12681: what better a time to try a 66 yd FG? might as well give it a go
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:27 PM - PackerDNA: Abby and Thornton are the first likely to be cut names that popped into my head.
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:28 PM - Carl: White has dropped a few balls this preseason though.
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:28 PM - sjb12681: All those scrub bartenders and our only 2 players on the field likely to make the roster have to make the tackle.
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:28 PM - sjb12681: I thought I say Thorton in the first round. No?
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:29 PM - PackerDNA: Yeah Carl, I'd add White to the list, too.
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:32 PM - sjb12681: nvrmnd, I am thinking of Hubbard
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:39 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I drafted Ty Mont in one of my leagues
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:51 PM - Carl: Nice TD!

Sep 3, 2015 at 5:57 PM - bubba: Does anyone else think Elliot should be our next option at OLB behind Matthews and Peppers
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:57 PM - The program 61: sad
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:57 PM - The program 61: anyone injured not trying to jynx us though
Sep 3, 2015 at 5:59 PM - Carl: No injuries.
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:00 PM - Carl: Special teams has been good since the first quarter.
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:00 PM - 7thFloorRA: 52 yards OMG.....OMG!!!!! 52 yards!!!! 52 yards!!!
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:02 PM - The program 61: 10mph wind gust?
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:05 PM - Carl: Nice play Gunter
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:07 PM - Carl: Lot less talkative when things are going well

Sep 3, 2015 at 6:10 PM - adambr2: They also mentioned Shawn Slocum as our ST coordinator tonight, lol

Sep 3, 2015 at 6:17 PM - thisisnate: Nick Perry says he's most looking forward to playing on a defense where so many guys are returning. The hell is he smoking?

Sep 3, 2015 at 6:18 PM - Carl: Plus Raji
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:19 PM - Carl: Could say 10/11 if Hawk doesn't count
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:19 PM - thisisnate: hardly something to emphasize though. tramon, house, hawk, jones
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:20 PM - Carl: Pick!
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:21 PM - thisisnate: banjo tip was the impressive part :D very nice reaction time

Sep 3, 2015 at 6:29 PM - Carl: Now TD!
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:29 PM - azrsx05: Hundley has looked better in the red zone than rodgers
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:30 PM - adambr2: I actually felt our schedule isn't too bad this year. Glad to get Seattle and KC at home
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:30 PM - adambr2: QB controversy
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:30 PM - thisisnate: almost wish we could just time machine hundley into the future and have him as a rookie when rodgers is like 36 years old maybe lol
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:40 PM - adambr2: I wonder why they didn't keep Blanchard around for some snaps tonight. Just a necessary move to get down to 75, or did they want to try to give him a better chance to catch on somewhere else?
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:43 PM - adambr2: Knew I should have started Hundley in my preseason fantasy football championship
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:44 PM - Carl: No reason to keep him if they had already made a decision on him.
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:44 PM - Carl: Another TD!
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:44 PM - thisisnate: i think that was the thinking adam, that they wanted him to have a better shot finding a home elsewhere
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:44 PM - Green and Gold: Here's to wrapping up home field advantage throughout this year so we can see some Hundley against the Viqueens in January.
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:45 PM - adambr2: I'm sure that decision was made before last weekend Carl. There was really no shot Blanchard was ever going to make this roster
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:45 PM - Green and Gold: That's a better leap for White, he's learning
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:46 PM - adambr2: Hope he catches on somewhere
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:47 PM - Voltron: blancahrd may end up on our practice squad
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:47 PM - Carl: There was early in camp when Hundley wasn't doing well
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:49 PM - Carl: Does this butt kicking ease some feelings from last week?
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:51 PM - thisisnate: rofl... "All of the teams in the NFC North... well, maybe not so much the Bears... feel like they have something good going on this year"
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:52 PM - adambr2: Like I said before, 1s vs 1s to me are most telling during preseason. This has all been 2 and 3s...not being a downer, it works both ways...we weren't exactly putting a full strength 11 out there when they went up 10-0 early
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:56 PM - Carl: 1 vs. 1 are most important. STs much improved over last week though.
Sep 3, 2015 at 6:56 PM - thisisnate: if RIp wants to stay on this team, he's gonna have to fix that hair

Sep 3, 2015 at 6:58 PM - 7thFloorRA: He can have whatever hair he wants if he blows fools up like that on the lead block!!!
Sep 3, 2015 at 7:01 PM - sjb12681: Like I said earlier, Hundley is a GAMER
Sep 3, 2015 at 7:01 PM - Green and Gold: Hundley is fantastic at the play option.
Sep 3, 2015 at 7:02 PM - Green and Gold: I still think Neal has the #3 spot over Harris and Crockett, but both have made a damn good case for why it's going to hurt to let either go..
Sep 3, 2015 at 7:04 PM - sjb12681: Going to be some pretty compelling discussions tomorrow morning in GB. One thing I know is BH will be hanging on a sideline with a clipboard for at least this season. Like another poster said, wish it was 5 years from now
Sep 3, 2015 at 7:05 PM - sjb12681: However, Cassel was also a Preseason gem. Pretty sure the Pats made some nice hay out of him if it comes to that
Sep 3, 2015 at 7:17 PM - 7thFloorRA: I want to see these final 5 wr's. White and Janis have to be in and abby has to be out....right? The guy has 1 catch in 1 game and has practiced 1 week each season so far. You can't keep that....can you?
Sep 3, 2015 at 7:18 PM - Carl: Number 5 guy may not due much or be inactive often. Could keep Abby is they think he has the bigger upside
Sep 3, 2015 at 7:19 PM - Green and Gold: I can hear Ted Thompson rubbing his hands together and cackling at the thought of all the picks he's going to get for Hundley
Sep 3, 2015 at 7:20 PM - Green and Gold: 142.4 passer rating...
Sep 3, 2015 at 7:20 PM - Green and Gold: Excited to see what he can do 4th quarter after we demolish our opponents.
Sep 3, 2015 at 7:23 PM - sjb12681: As to the WRs, It may come down to who we can sneak onto the PS for now...They like Abby, But he has been flat outplayed by 2-3 others. Who can stick to the PS squad without getting poached. My thought is it has to be Abby now getting let go. PR do not help
Sep 3, 2015 at 7:25 PM - sjb12681: Cobb, Adams, Montgomery, Janis, White.
Sep 3, 2015 at 7:26 PM - sjb12681: Janis and White up in the air for 4/5. White gets the 4 simply due to AR not feeling Janis right now. Gotta earn that trust
Sep 3, 2015 at 7:28 PM - sjb12681: all that being said, both could be replaced dependent on cuts this week. I do want Janis to stick however. For the record, I also wanted Lyerla for what its worth.
Sep 3, 2015 at 7:28 PM - Green and Gold: Rajion Neal most likely to make the 53?
Sep 3, 2015 at 7:29 PM - Green and Gold: Other than the fumble I thought Abby looked good returning punts, definitely has the ability to make guys miss, which is a skill we've been lacking there.
Sep 3, 2015 at 7:33 PM - sjb12681: i would love to see him on the 53, however, with the concussions and the lack of time, he seems high on the list to be cut loose
Sep 3, 2015 at 7:35 PM - Carl: Hyde has been a very good punt returner with 2 TDs last year.
Sep 3, 2015 at 7:50 PM - dbain21: Didn't see the game..but dang hundley's stats are impressive
Sep 3, 2015 at 8:03 PM - rodell330: How about those TCU horned frogs? Struggling against lowly Minnesota . I wish they played my buckeyes
Sep 3, 2015 at 8:06 PM - 7thFloorRA: Minnesota is respectable. They have a classy head coach too!!!!!
Sep 3, 2015 at 8:08 PM - rodell330: Yep...but unfortunately classy won't keep his job if they stink it up
Sep 3, 2015 at 8:08 PM - rodell330: Good guy tho
Sep 3, 2015 at 8:13 PM - 7thFloorRA: He hasn't been bad there IIRC. They aren't top 10 but they hover around 500 enough to make a bowl game.
Sep 3, 2015 at 8:19 PM - 7thFloorRA: uh oh......nutball Harbaugh already has UM playing well
Sep 3, 2015 at 8:21 PM - 7thFloorRA: until now
Sep 3, 2015 at 8:47 PM - Green and Gold: We can't forget, Tolzien has two years of experience in the offense over Hundley. The offense has access to so much more with Tolzien in the game.
Sep 3, 2015 at 8:48 PM - Green and Gold: Outside of really the one or two bad series today Tolzien has been fantastic too.
Sep 3, 2015 at 8:49 PM - Green and Gold: People forget just how limited the playbooks are in preseason.
Sep 3, 2015 at 8:50 PM - Green and Gold: Feel bad for Pinkard as he most likely will get cut.
Sep 3, 2015 at 8:59 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Pinkard may have made the PS.....more worried about Abby

Sep 3, 2015 9:07 PM - Voltron: They should make PS larger
Sep 3, 2015 9:38 PM - Pokerbrat2000: 15 would be nice......but not until they increase from 16 games
Sep 3, 2015 9:43 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Hundley sure showed why he was a steal in the 5th....Garrett Grayson was drafted in the 3rd round and didn't look half as good
Sep 3, 2015 10:14 PM - Green and Gold: Can't wait to see which WR besides Cobb does work in CHI!
Sep 3, 2015 10:14 PM - Green and Gold: Cobb gets doubled all game and Adams and Janis have career games?
Sep 3, 2015 10:15 PM - Green and Gold: What's interesting about Gunter is that he's totally unlike Sam Shields and Tramon Williams.
Sep 3, 2015 10:15 PM - Green and Gold: Doubt he'll play very much this season unless Hayward ends up massively failing and gets moved inside again. Next year he could very well be a starter.
Sep 4, 2015 6:00 AM - Vltrophy: Tolzien will be QB2 this yr but will have a fight on his hands next year for QB2
Sep 4, 2015 6:02 AM - Vltrophy: Hundley looked good last night
Sep 4, 2015 6:03 AM - Vltrophy: Badgers v Bama tomorrow. Should be a good one
Sep 4, 2015 6:04 AM - Pokerbrat2000: If Hundley keeps progressing at the rate he is, he may become trade bait next year
Sep 4, 2015 6:06 AM - Vltrophy: Redskins would love to have him
Sep 4, 2015 6:22 AM - Vrill: Brett Hundley...wow hes looked damn good
Sep 4, 2015 6:24 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Most definitely more to come from Hundley, especially as he masters a very complicated offense. Along with Gunter, I think he is the biggest surprise of the rookies.
Sep 4, 2015 6:24 AM - Eli Haugen: whats the word on pinkard? bad enough to get him on ir for a tallent stash?
Sep 4, 2015 6:26 AM - Eli Haugen: maybe we can hold hundley until rodgers wheels fall off? have another montana /young scenario 6 years from now...?
Sep 4, 2015 6:26 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Can Ripkowski safely slide to the PS? Yes, he is a good special teams guy, but would rather see Neal as the 4th back and Crocket on the PS as well
Sep 4, 2015 6:27 AM - Eli Haugen: rodgers recently said he is playing for x amount of years... anyone remember what that number was?
Sep 4, 2015 6:27 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Hundley keeps progressing at the rate he is, he won't be satisfied to be a back up in a few years.
Sep 4, 2015 6:28 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Rodgers said 8 more years
Sep 4, 2015 6:28 AM - Eli Haugen: eh. ripkowski is a special special teamer. and our future fb. i think he makes the 53
Sep 4, 2015 6:29 AM - Pokerbrat2000: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/08/10/aaron-rodgers-plans-to-play-eight-more-years/
Sep 4, 2015 6:30 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Tough keeping 4 backs, with 2 of them being FB's....but who knows
Sep 4, 2015 6:31 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Looks like Masthay might have done just enough to keep his job?
Sep 4, 2015 6:31 AM - Eli Haugen: some 5th rounders would be happy being paid well as a backup qb to a living legend. eventually getting the job. 8 years is a long time though.. rodgers waited 3 and was a 1st rounder. hard to unseat a legend until they fall.
Sep 4, 2015 6:33 AM - Eli Haugen: you see some of the good career back ups playing into their 40s. all about tread on the tires. peyton manning has wires popping through. lol
Sep 4, 2015 6:34 AM - Pokerbrat2000: If Rodgers stays healthy and plays for even 5 more, I just don't see Hundley still being a back up and happy as one that far out. Let's just hope we don't have a repeat of the Favre incident in 3-4 years lol
Sep 4, 2015 6:44 AM - Eli Haugen: no way rodgers is unseated at that stage of his career. hundley will have to want to win rings. serve a purpose to a great franchise. #2qb is very important. and look at the positives. paid well to hold clip board. can still walk without a limp at 50 yrs old:)
Sep 4, 2015 6:57 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Everything you read and see in regards to Hundley shows his drive to succeed. I don't see him being content as a #2 lifer like a Tolzien or Flynn.
Sep 4, 2015 7:18 AM - desertdog55: Some are saying Tolzien could be trade bait at some time this year....
Sep 4, 2015 7:46 AM - sschind: If Hundley is going to be as good as everyone seems to think there is no way he succeeds Rodgers as the Packers QB if Rodgers leaves on his own terms.
Sep 4, 2015 7:48 AM - sschind: If he is that good he will want a chance to start sooner rather than later (and if he doesn't what does that say about him) and if he is that good someone will offer him more money than the Packers can afford to pay a backup QB.
Sep 4, 2015 7:49 AM - sschind: They will keep him around as an affordable backup until they can't afford him any more and he will move on. There may be a trade involved but I doubt it.
Sep 4, 2015 8:26 AM - Pokerbrat2000: All I know is its a good problem to have 3 quality QB's
Sep 4, 2015 8:52 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: im just glad preseason is over now so we can get to real football

Sep 4, 2015 at 9:10 AM - rodell330: Tolzien is garbage anyways
Sep 4, 2015 at 9:11 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Garbage? Really?
Sep 4, 2015 at 9:47 AM - longtimefan: He played for uw so rodell has to hate
Sep 4, 2015 at 10:05 AM - 7thFloorRA: I think tolzien is suffereing from the same issue as Janis. His body and talent say yes but his head says no
Sep 4, 2015 at 10:09 AM - The program 61: anyone here play madden know how to turn off pass icons when you go to catch it in franchise mode there annoying
Sep 4, 2015 at 10:27 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: rodell is back i see
Sep 4, 2015 at 10:27 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: Madden 25?
Sep 4, 2015 at 11:50 AM - 7thFloorRA: wow...louis nix got released. I thought he was going to be a stud if he could stay out of the dining room
Sep 4, 2015 at 11:51 AM - adambr2: Wow Louis Nix cut already.
Sep 4, 2015 at 11:51 AM - adambr2: Right...many projections had him going in the 1st
Sep 4, 2015 at 11:57 AM - 7thFloorRA: weird. would love to hear the story on why he didn't work out there.
Sep 4, 2015 at 12:04 PM - Pokerbrat2000: due to injuries, Nix never played a regular season game for the Texans. They are loaded on the D line
Sep 4, 2015 at 12:06 PM - The program 61: future raider
Sep 4, 2015 at 1:04 PM - Vltrophy: Barkley traded for conditional 7th rd pick
Sep 4, 2015 at 1:08 PM - The program 61: to who ?
Sep 4, 2015 at 1:08 PM - 7thFloorRA: AZ
Sep 4, 2015 at 1:08 PM - The program 61: wow
Sep 4, 2015 at 1:09 PM - 7thFloorRA: I hope Seattle plays Philly this year so God has to chose.
Sep 4, 2015 at 2:10 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Josh Freeman cut by Dolphins....seems nobody wants him
Sep 4, 2015 at 2:14 PM - adambr2: Didn't realize he was in anyone's camp. Actually I really couldn't believe when I heard the name 'Tim Hightower ' at the game last night.
Sep 4, 2015 at 2:24 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Is it just my perception or does it seem like the worst teams do their cuts before the better teams? :coffee:
Sep 4, 2015 at 2:27 PM - Vltrophy: My bad I thought I put Cardinals
Sep 4, 2015 at 3:16 PM - rodell330: I'm not "hating" because he went to Widconsin haha. JJ Watt went there and he's a stud..Tolzien just isn't any good ...idc where he went to school.
Sep 4, 2015 at 3:20 PM - Green and Gold: Tolzien's ready for his role as Human Victory Cigar.
Sep 4, 2015 at 3:51 PM - Voltron: Pokerbrat2000 thats bc the worst team know they are in trouble, while stronger teams have a harder time deciding who to cut. look at our wr and rb those last spots area tough choice
Sep 4, 2015 at 3:52 PM - Voltron: also it give those who where borderline and cut a chance to see if they can get picked by a weaker team.
Sep 4, 2015 at 5:20 PM - Powarun: I was going to say something similar, the good teams cut late since they have the tough decision to cut since and once they cut they don't have as good of a chance of the player passing the waiver wire
Sep 4, 2015 at 5:32 PM - Vltrophy: Vikings cut DuJuan Harris
Sep 4, 2015 at 6:18 PM - Raptorman: Harris was never going to stick with the Vikings. He had way to many RB's to beat out.
Sep 4, 2015 at 6:51 PM - adambr2: I really always liked Harris. Too much RB depth this camp to bring him back now but I hope he catches on somewhere.
Sep 4, 2015 at 7:04 PM - thepackers1fan4: the packers RBs are stacked this year man
Sep 4, 2015 at 7:04 PM - thepackers1fan4: i dont want to let go of any of them
Sep 4, 2015 at 7:11 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Really want to see more of Crockett, hope he makes it to our PS

Sep 4, 2015 10:34 PM - 7thFloorRA: I think he will be on the PS....but not for long. Once some teams get injuries I think he is a guy they will look at.
Sep 5, 2015 4:32 AM - Eli Haugen: harris is big and he produced( in preseason) but man!!! cuts gonna be brutal!
Sep 5, 2015 7:10 AM - Shawnsta3: He was also the slowest and one is the worst kick returners in football last year
Sep 5, 2015 7:56 AM - TeamTundra: James Jones WR being cut by Giants per JSOnline
Sep 5, 2015 7:57 AM - TeamTundra: Please sign him TT!
Sep 5, 2015 7:59 AM - dbain21: I think they should sign him even if just until the young guys get their feet under them.
Sep 5, 2015 8:24 AM - buggybill2003: I`d love to see Jones back in green and yellow.
Sep 5, 2015 8:35 AM - Vrill: Come back home James Jones!
Sep 5, 2015 8:52 AM - Pokerbrat2000: That was the cut I was hoping for.....IMO..TT is nuts to not sign him (if Jones wants to play in GB)
Sep 5, 2015 8:53 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Panthers are said to be interested in Jones as well.....TT doesn't like over paying for anything
Sep 5, 2015 9:03 AM - Pokerbrat2000: looking more and more like 2 HB's and 2 FB's will be the roster at the end of the day
Sep 5, 2015 9:14 AM - Carl: Neal cut
Sep 5, 2015 9:33 AM - Eli Haugen: i thought harris was most impressive of the bubble backs. big and made plays.
Sep 5, 2015 9:33 AM - 7thFloorRA: I really hope TT gets him. He is a massive upgrade over White. He does that little WR screen short yardage play jordy had been doing since he left town
Sep 5, 2015 9:35 AM - 7thFloorRA: looks like neal and perillo were cut
Sep 5, 2015 9:40 AM - Green and Gold: Jones is a proven WR2 in Green Bay and was by no means bad last year.
Sep 5, 2015 9:41 AM - Green and Gold: Raiders just needed him to do more than he can.
Sep 5, 2015 9:46 AM - gatorpack: James Jones needs to come home!
Sep 5, 2015 9:48 AM - 7thFloorRA: It shouldn't financially hurt to sign JJ so I hope TT brings him back. He is a massive upgrade over White and really solidifies the depth of the position.
Sep 5, 2015 10:02 AM - dbain21: I really liked Rajion Neal. Interesting choice to cut him. Maybe he didn't excel on special teams...that could be the difference for some guys
Sep 5, 2015 10:50 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Matt Flynn was cut
Sep 5, 2015 10:58 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Tim Tebow cut
Sep 5, 2015 11:06 AM - Vrill: We'll keep 3 RBs, 2 FB's and 3 TE's
Sep 5, 2015 11:08 AM - Vrill: Our 3rd and 4th TE have historically played ST. So Ripkowski takes that 4th TE spot even though hes a FB and not a TE.
Sep 5, 2015 11:36 AM - Pokerbrat2000: I wouldn't be shocked if we keep 2 HB's and 2 FB's.....with 1/2 HB's on PS in case of injuries. Ripkowski is more valuable to Special Teams then any 3rd HB would be
Sep 5, 2015 11:38 AM - Green and Gold: Next 5 cuts will be interesting.
Sep 5, 2015 11:44 AM - Zartan: Khyri Thornton is gone
Sep 5, 2015 12:30 PM - thisisnate: inb4 eagles bring in matt blanchard
Sep 5, 2015 1:17 PM - Carl: Reggie Wayne cut already
Sep 5, 2015 1:24 PM - TeamTundra: Hakeem Nicks cut by the Titans
Sep 5, 2015 1:32 PM - TeamTundra: It is reported Abby has been waived
Sep 5, 2015 1:39 PM - thepackers1fan4: nothing has been spoke about abby yet
Sep 5, 2015 1:47 PM - thepackers1fan4: abby cut
Sep 5, 2015 2:38 PM - Vrill: having only 2 RB's on the roster is slim if god forbid Lacy or Starks get dinged up and cannot go a whole game.
Sep 5, 2015 2:44 PM - Eli Haugen: no way we keep just 2 rbs... harris or crockett mafe the team. imo

Sep 5, 2015 at 2:57 PM - Carl: Kuhn can play RB if needed. Not the best option, but he's able to
Sep 5, 2015 at 3:06 PM - adambr2: They've already reported Harris as being 100% in.
Sep 5, 2015 at 3:15 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Derek Sherrod waived by Chiefs...."big shocker" there
Sep 5, 2015 at 3:22 PM - Pokerbrat2000: At least TT has some options now if he feels they need more experience at WR...Jones, Nicks, Wayne
Sep 5, 2015 at 6:19 PM - Green and Gold: Crockett cut damn.
Sep 5, 2015 at 7:10 PM - thepackers1fan4: i really like crockett and neal i think they both played crazy good in the preseason
Sep 5, 2015 at 7:10 PM - thepackers1fan4: sucks to see them go honestly
Sep 5, 2015 at 7:34 PM - Green and Gold: Feel like I'm the only one who thought Harris was the best of the three.
Sep 5, 2015 at 7:54 PM - TeamTundra: I like Harris also and thought his performance at New England was the most impressive of the three RBs fighting for the last spot.
Sep 5, 2015 at 8:11 PM - Poppa San: Badgers can't tackle to save their ****.
Sep 5, 2015 at 8:14 PM - Zartan: I thought the Badgers would of been a sightly tougher game
Sep 5, 2015 at 8:16 PM - Eli Haugen: harris is bigger, and made plays. his two drops in game 2 were not enough to get him cut. too much upside i guess.

Sep 5, 2015 9:35 PM - Carl: Alabama too good for them
Sep 6, 2015 5:33 AM - weeds: Exactly. Alabama like OSU ... the best teams money can buy. Still the Badgers youth AND inexperience in the O-line was soooo evident. It was boys against men at both lines of scrimage
Sep 6, 2015 5:34 AM - weeds: I'll say one thing... Stave LOOKED like a QB ...
Sep 6, 2015 6:38 AM - Cheesehead625: Anyone think we should bring in Joseph Fauria in for a look. Big bodied pass catching tightend who might help in the redzone
Sep 6, 2015 7:00 AM - sschind: I'll say this about the Badgers. I Didn't expect them to win but I respect the hell out of them for scheduling a team like this. I get so sick of the non conference patsies that a lot of teams schedule. So we finish with 3 loses instead of 2, not a big deal.
Sep 6, 2015 7:27 AM - Vrill: Alabama RB Derrick Henry is a man among boys
Sep 6, 2015 8:37 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Badgers usual strength is the O line, last night they showed how young and inexperienced this years O line is.
Sep 6, 2015 10:00 AM - Green and Gold: If Pinkard can take a year on the IR and maybe another on the PS he could end up in a situation like White.
Sep 6, 2015 10:36 AM - 7thFloorRA: Sounds like Abby made it to the PS
Sep 6, 2015 11:17 AM - Voltron: he did make ps
Sep 6, 2015 11:24 AM - Vltrophy: Packers talk to JJ's agent
Sep 6, 2015 11:28 AM - 7thFloorRA: saw on "twitter" that JJ is on a flight to GB....take that for what its worth
Sep 6, 2015 11:32 AM - Vltrophy: Saw that as well
Sep 6, 2015 11:42 AM - Vltrophy: Patriots picked up Khyri Thornton
Sep 6, 2015 11:42 AM - adambr2: Who would most likely be the man out if JJ is signed?
Sep 6, 2015 11:43 AM - Vltrophy: I don't think it would be a WR
Sep 6, 2015 11:44 AM - TeamTundra: Demetri Goodson
Sep 6, 2015 11:44 AM - TeamTundra: Or possibly a backup OL
Sep 6, 2015 11:44 AM - Jerellh528: Ya Goodson
Sep 6, 2015 11:44 AM - Vltrophy: Abbs on PS
Sep 6, 2015 11:51 AM - 7thFloorRA: with 4 backup lineman I would say 1 of them. Once the bad boys get back then I could see White getting released if JJ is working out
Sep 6, 2015 11:54 AM - TeamTundra: TE Mitchell Henry signed to Broncos active roster
Sep 6, 2015 11:58 AM - adambr2: Carl Bradford to the PS
Sep 6, 2015 12:15 PM - TeamTundra: Ringo Vujonich on PS
Sep 6, 2015 12:22 PM - Vltrophy: Broncos cut Ball
Sep 6, 2015 12:41 PM - longtimefan: Jones on a flight to GB
Sep 6, 2015 12:42 PM - TeamTundra: Jones has landed in GB and is in route to Lambeau
Sep 6, 2015 12:45 PM - Vltrophy: U beat me to it Tundra
Sep 6, 2015 12:45 PM - Pokerbrat2000: So is White gone if they sign Jones or keep 6?
Sep 6, 2015 12:46 PM - TeamTundra: Demetri Goodson is injured and may get cut or put on IR
Sep 6, 2015 12:46 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Can't imagine Jones not wanting to come back and be a part of this team.....will all depend on if TT low balls him
Sep 6, 2015 12:47 PM - Pokerbrat2000: 2 more will have to be let go after Jones and Guion serve their suspensions...had Goodson as one of them
Sep 6, 2015 12:48 PM - Pokerbrat2000: anyone have a website with updated PS players?
Sep 6, 2015 12:51 PM - TeamTundra: I've been using Ryan Wood Wes Hodkiwicz and Rob Demovsky's Twitter accounts
Sep 6, 2015 12:52 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Thanks TT

Sep 6, 2015 at 12:52 PM - Pokerbrat2000: I won't tell them you hacked in :coffee:
Sep 6, 2015 at 12:54 PM - Pokerbrat2000: James Jones has arrived in Green Bay. Headed straight to Lambeau Field. When asked if a deal will get done with the Packers, he said: "That's the plan."
Sep 6, 2015 at 12:57 PM - Pokerbrat2000: John Crockett signed to PS yesss
Sep 6, 2015 at 12:58 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Ringo, Abbrederis, Perillo, Rotheram, Vaughters, Bradford, Vujnovich & Crockett. two to go?
Sep 6, 2015 at 1:04 PM - TeamTundra: Based on my count, yes two to go
Sep 6, 2015 at 1:05 PM - TeamTundra: I'm guessing one will be a defensive back
Sep 6, 2015 at 1:05 PM - TeamTundra: Very happy with how the PS looks so far
Sep 6, 2015 at 1:05 PM - Pokerbrat2000: If Jones signs, does this push White out?
Sep 6, 2015 at 1:06 PM - Pokerbrat2000: I agree TT, not one name on the PS squad right now that doesn't say "potential" to me
Sep 6, 2015 at 1:07 PM - TeamTundra: I don't think so. I think it will be Goodson if injured
Sep 6, 2015 at 1:09 PM - Pokerbrat2000: I think White's days are numbered, he will become #6 and given they will need to cut 2 more in the coming weeks, can't see him being around long if Jones signs
Sep 6, 2015 at 1:11 PM - 7thFloorRA: Isn't goodson one of the special teams gunners? That position while not critical....really sucked last year.
Sep 6, 2015 at 1:13 PM - Pokerbrat2000: found this site....looks like good updates: http://cheeseheadtv.com/blog/track-packers-practice-squad-signings-here
Sep 6, 2015 at 1:16 PM - TeamTundra: I could be wrong on Goodson, but I think we have too many DBs. Banjo maybe another candidate
Sep 6, 2015 at 1:16 PM - Eli Haugen: perillo looks like he was playable. backman looked better yet.
Sep 6, 2015 at 1:17 PM - Pokerbrat2000: we are deep with average to below average TE's
Sep 6, 2015 at 1:18 PM - Pokerbrat2000: I think Banjo is safe, he is a bruiser on special teams and serviceable on defense
Sep 6, 2015 at 1:57 PM - dbain21: My phone is telling me James Jones is "expected" to sign with the pack
Sep 6, 2015 at 1:59 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Montee Ball cut by Broncos
Sep 6, 2015 at 2:07 PM - Narveson: Per Ian Rapaport twitter: Reunion: James Jones is signing with the #Packers, source said
Sep 6, 2015 at 2:09 PM - Vltrophy: Likely a 1 year vet minimum which is like 800K. I'd say bout $1.2M max
Sep 6, 2015 at 2:11 PM - Vltrophy: I think White remains even if & when JJ signs.
Sep 6, 2015 at 2:13 PM - Vltrophy: Rips learning from Kuhn & will be his successor in a year or 2
Sep 6, 2015 at 2:15 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Wikepedia already has him signed!!! LOL James DeAndre Jones (born March 31, 1984) is an American football wide receiver who is playing for the Green Bay Packers.
Sep 6, 2015 at 2:18 PM - TeamTundra: Per Ian Rapport James jones has signed with the Packers. Awesome!
Sep 6, 2015 at 2:19 PM - TeamTundra: Nerves on beat me to it.
Sep 6, 2015 at 2:19 PM - TeamTundra: Narveson
Sep 6, 2015 at 2:43 PM - Vltrophy: Packers will have to cut 2 more players for Datone & Guion unless they got the roster down to 51 for Datone & Guion. Then just 1 to cut
Sep 6, 2015 at 2:44 PM - Vltrophy: If your that one it would totally suck. Your like yes I made the team. Damn I got cut the day after
Sep 6, 2015 at 2:44 PM - 7thFloorRA: These guys know that the final few roster spots are fluid.
Sep 6, 2015 at 2:45 PM - Rodgers in the House: JJ's back YES!!!
Sep 6, 2015 at 2:48 PM - Cheesehead625: Well, this is great for the team, but having Davante as my number 2 looks less exciting now
Sep 6, 2015 at 2:53 PM - Vltrophy: Will JJ buy his number back from Rodgers or get a different number
Sep 6, 2015 at 3:20 PM - weeds: I'm happy...and surprised.
Sep 6, 2015 at 3:31 PM - 7thFloorRA: I don't think TT would resign anyone that wanted their number back. They don't roll that way. That is RR's number.

Sep 6, 2015 at 4:15 PM - gonzozab: I don't mind the move but don't expect the same JJ we had a few years ago. He's not the same player anymore. Neither was Freeman when he came back.
Sep 6, 2015 at 4:20 PM - 7thFloorRA: Everyone acts like he is this broke down old man. He is 1 year older than Jordy and really has never been hurt.
Sep 6, 2015 at 4:21 PM - 7thFloorRA: he was a stud for the raiders last year. career high in catches. I think he will just fall back into line.
Sep 6, 2015 at 4:39 PM - longtimefan: the PAcker note thread will now be locked..The season is underway and it will get real confusing...So make a ne wpost when something pops up
Sep 6, 2015 at 5:10 PM - Green and Gold: 4 and 5 WR sets now with Jones in there.
Sep 6, 2015 at 5:10 PM - Green and Gold: He had a stretch of the dropsies but cleaned it up pretty well after that.
Sep 6, 2015 at 5:13 PM - rodell330: So excited JJ is back...a great character guy who knows the system and will help out up points. The more we score the better.
Sep 6, 2015 at 5:15 PM - Green and Gold: I'm liking our PS.
Sep 6, 2015 at 5:16 PM - Green and Gold:
You must be logged in to see this image or video!
Sep 6, 2015 at 5:38 PM - 7thFloorRA: He also was the architect of that 1 yard quick pass that Jordy has been doing the last few years. He is also very key in the redzone on that same play.
Sep 6, 2015 at 5:57 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: James Jones coming back is awesome, now I don't have to see him playing on the same team as that worse than Randy Moss arrogant *** Odell Beckham Jr
Sep 6, 2015 at 6:33 PM - adambr2: Right, if Jones can help turn some of our red zone FGs into TDs, that's worth his salary right there. Hard to believe he actually led the NFL one year in receiving TDS IIRC.
Sep 6, 2015 at 6:42 PM - 7thFloorRA: He owns that goal line inside route. I think his absence showed with the fg attempts.
Sep 6, 2015 at 7:21 PM - Narveson: From CBSSports.com: James Jones back to Green Bay: The biggest move from Sunday. Jones' familiarity with the Packers offense combined with the team's need at outside receiver made this a match made in cheesehead heaven.
Sep 6, 2015 at 7:23 PM - 7thFloorRA: I am going to assume Rodgers was pretty pissed he wasn't on the team last year. He went to bat for him before negotiations and what he got instead was freaking boykin who SUCKED big time.

Sep 7, 2015 at 6:37 AM - The program 61: so whats the final roster ive been living under a rock past 3 days
Sep 7, 2015 at 7:08 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Here you go Program.....add James Jones and subtract one. Also keep in mind that once Datone Jones and then Guion serve their suspensions (1 and 3 games), 2 more cuts are coming. http://www.packers.com/news-and-eve...n-roster/7cb25cd9-8a9f-4bd5-98fc-87ad661bb623
Sep 7, 2015 at 7:27 AM - The program 61: thank you
Sep 7, 2015 at 8:40 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: well it's football time, monday night football out in Blacksburg starts tonight, and regular season kickoff out in Gilette this Thursday
Sep 7, 2015 at 10:12 AM - 7thFloorRA: Myles White has been cut to make room for Double J
Sep 7, 2015 at 10:20 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Saw that one coming
Sep 7, 2015 at 10:24 AM - TeamTundra: I'm glad that it was White which means that Cobb and Montgomery should be relatively healthy for week one.
Sep 7, 2015 at 10:25 AM - TeamTundra: There was some online speculation that they may keep White an extra week due to recent injuries.
Sep 7, 2015 at 10:49 AM - Vltrophy: I figured They would've kept White
Sep 7, 2015 at 10:58 AM - Vrill: So what WR's will we roll with? Cobb, Jones, Adams, Janis and Monty?
Sep 7, 2015 at 11:25 AM - Vltrophy: Adams will be #2 Jones 3 then Monty then Janis is what I read
Sep 7, 2015 at 1:03 PM - 7thFloorRA: wow richard rodgers is switching to 82
Sep 7, 2015 at 1:05 PM - Vrill: So #89 for Jones....nice
Sep 7, 2015 at 1:09 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Good I can break out my old Jones Jersey!! Does anyone want to buy a #89 Rodgers Jersey? :whistling:
Sep 7, 2015 at 1:24 PM - Voltron: Since now a days its hard to say if there will be a lifelong players i pretty much only buy legends jerseys shirts, eg Starr Nitchskee
Sep 7, 2015 at 1:24 PM - Voltron: i have Dallas friends that got Murray jerseys last years and are pissed this year...
Sep 7, 2015 at 1:42 PM - 7thFloorRA: I would hope the team would let you return RR jerseys for a new one.
Sep 7, 2015 at 1:48 PM - dbain21: Happy for JJ and also feel bad for Myles White, thats gotta sting to make the team then get cut. Props to Richard Rodgers for giving JJ his old number as well
Sep 7, 2015 at 2:50 PM - Green and Gold: If Jordy wasn't hurt and on IR White probably would have been cut anyways.
Sep 7, 2015 at 3:14 PM - adambr2: FWIW they do want White back for the PS again. So while it's not the same obviously he's not out of a job if he wants it.
Sep 7, 2015 at 3:47 PM - sschind: If I had a Nitchskee jersey I'd return it and demand they give me one with the name spelled correctly. ;)
Sep 7, 2015 at 4:17 PM - desertdog55: I am glad to see everyone excited about having JJ back...I just hope he can contribute....:)
Sep 7, 2015 at 4:47 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I know what Rodell is doing tonight
Sep 7, 2015 at 4:47 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Not sure who to pick, but I think Ohio State is going to win in a close one
Sep 7, 2015 at 4:58 PM - rodell330: It's game time!!! Go Buckeyes!!! See you all later!
Sep 7, 2015 at 5:20 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: holy cow what a catch
Sep 7, 2015 at 5:31 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Man oh man Va Tech is dead
Sep 7, 2015 at 5:35 PM - gatorpack: damn give it to that FB lol
Sep 7, 2015 at 5:38 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: just about nothing going their way so far
Sep 7, 2015 at 5:44 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: TD here puts a nail in the coffin of Frank Beamer
Sep 7, 2015 at 5:48 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Yup they're screwed bad, there's no way Urban Meyer's going to take his foot off the gas or pull Elliot
Sep 7, 2015 at 5:48 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: a mad team that got beat in their own house will be allowed to run the score up
Sep 7, 2015 at 5:49 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: nvm that penalty stopped em
Sep 7, 2015 at 5:49 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: but man oh man
Sep 7, 2015 at 5:49 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: very lucky

Sep 7, 2015 at 5:59 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: that play was huge
Sep 7, 2015 at 6:06 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: ohhh oh it's getting interesting now
Sep 7, 2015 at 6:36 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Va Tech lead, 17-14
Sep 7, 2015 at 6:40 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: so far, game is living up to its hype
Sep 7, 2015 at 6:57 PM - rodell330: We will pull away I the 2nd half...I'm not worried it's early
Sep 7, 2015 at 7:06 PM - Carl: Interesting difference compared to Packers games rodell. You'd probably say it was over at half it it was.
Sep 7, 2015 at 7:09 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: ouch
Sep 7, 2015 at 7:10 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: that had to hurt bad
Sep 7, 2015 at 7:12 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Well Carl, we all saw what he said last January where he defended Meyer's misuse of the clock against Bama but didn't do so for Mike McCarthy
Sep 7, 2015 at 7:15 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: and that last playcall is not something MM'd do
Sep 7, 2015 at 7:16 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: He put Braxton Miller in a precarious situation there, at least Mike McCarthy wouldn't do that to Hundley
Sep 7, 2015 at 7:21 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: well, I guess it's technically edgar's call now, but still
Sep 7, 2015 at 7:23 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: feel bad for Michael Brewer
Sep 7, 2015 at 7:28 PM - desertdog55: Wow, they have a pretty easy schedule. Toughest games will be Minnesota and Michigan St, and they get both of those at home.
Sep 7, 2015 at 7:31 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: that's a bad PI call
Sep 7, 2015 at 7:32 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: ohh man
Sep 7, 2015 at 7:32 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: fumble
Sep 7, 2015 at 7:36 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I gotta admit I loved that spin move
Sep 7, 2015 at 7:38 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Yeah, I think Va Tech is in trouble without Brewer
Sep 7, 2015 at 7:42 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: not out of it yet though, a stop here and they still have a chance
Sep 7, 2015 at 7:46 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: holy cow
Sep 7, 2015 at 7:51 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Va Tech has to limit them to a FG or they are done I'd say
Sep 7, 2015 at 7:57 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: came back down 14 before with 17 unanswered, but ... I don't think they got it this time
Sep 7, 2015 at 8:02 PM - Green and Gold: Any thoughts about RFID sensors on each NFL player?
Sep 7, 2015 at 8:03 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: creepy
Sep 7, 2015 at 8:05 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: well, btw Meyer pulled his starter so I think you gotta take back some of the bashing he gets for score running
Sep 7, 2015 at 8:14 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I mean, I get the whole good sportsmanship thing, I think you do gotta carry a certain amount of respect for your opponent, but you get beat at your own house by a team, have a chance to get revenge, as a player I'd be wanting to go all out within my talent to do that
Sep 7, 2015 at 8:15 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: and probably would not want my coach to just call knee take series every time
Sep 7, 2015 at 8:21 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: and beyond that, let's not pretend that Mike McCarthy didn't go thrashing and pouring salt in the wounds of the Bears and Eagles last year
Sep 7, 2015 at 8:23 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: good play by Va Tech backup though
Sep 7, 2015 at 8:34 PM - desertdog55: McCarthy saying “We will proudly stand as the 95th team in the history of the Green Bay Packers when we kick Chicago’s ***,” is being used as bulletin board material by the Bears this week.
Sep 7, 2015 at 8:36 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: wpw he actually said that?
Sep 7, 2015 at 8:37 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I am really really shocked, that just is not like him
Sep 7, 2015 at 8:38 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I mean.... he's had great offenses and is a coach I love and really hope stays, but I mean that is just .... I mean as bad as Bill Bellichek has been sometimes about these things, I don't recall even him saying something like that
Sep 7, 2015 at 8:39 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: that to me is just going a bit over the top

Sep 7, 2015 at 8:41 PM - Green and Gold: Robertson Daniel is interesting from a measurables standpoint. Check out his NFLDraftScout page.
Sep 7, 2015 at 8:42 PM - Green and Gold: How long until the Vikings sign White??
Sep 7, 2015 at 8:43 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I mean I guess I'll have to check my sources on that but I really hope MM did not say that, because to me, he's always been a coach that's just focused on business and never assumes anything, and for him to say that is dangerously close to Rex Ryan territory, and let me tell you I got no respect at all for Rex *********
Sep 7, 2015 at 8:58 PM - Green and Gold: It's 0 - 0 and anything can happen.
