Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports the New Orleans Saints are expected to tag DE Charles Grant as their franchise player. There has been almost no momentum in contract discussion since the end of the 2007 season.

I know players don't like that "franchise" tag, but it guarentees the guy ALOT of money.
