The NFL would for sure not allow the Packers not to wear them.

The microphone cause was speculated not long after the game as well. My guess is that the NFL will look into a safer mounting apparatus, whether they acknowledge it publicly or not. They don't want to lose any more stars in the playoffs.

I doubt the NFL will try and force him to wear it. Those things don't add much to the enjoyment of the game IMO and if it did have a direct result in the injury, it's not worth the risk.

I agree that stuff like that doesn´t add any enjoyment but unfortunately the league and media think differently about it.
