Both games have been 50/50, just different ways of getting there. I think you could probably argue legitimately that we should have lost the first one, and should have won the second one.

I think a third game would be 50/50 as well, and I hope we get the Bears. I don’t think you can ask for much better than feeling like you have a coin flip shot of winning a 7/2 matchup.

While we will leave it all on the table? Of course if they don't beat us there is no next week for them. Sounds like you're suggesting they might look past us.
Well, they said 2 weeks ago that they would see us again. It is not like they have to blow out the Lions. They are either 2 or 3. But it would be to their advantage to play us because we are beaten to a pulp. Playing the Rams would be more difficult. They would be up against a SB QB, a veteran, and Davante along with a great game planning coach. Rams have a solid defense and they are much healthier than the Packers. Their Achilles is their place kicking plus they are not a cold weather team like us. If I wear the Bears I would prefer to play us.

I'm not going to go digging for it, but I would love to know the time of possession for our opponents offenses, against us, in all our losses. My hunch would be that our defense was on the field, more than our offense. That can be a recipe for disaster, especially late in the game. Too many times it felt like our defense was tired and slow, and tgat us when a good running offense can just run you over.

I hope Hafley decides to bring the safeties up closer to the LOS, tighten up the box and make the other teams try to beat us with long completions.
Which is what Caleb will try to do as he did to win the OT game. But I would rather he take those shots than eat us up on the ground or run around all afternoon and play school yard.

Honestly, I think every team in the playoffs....would love to play the Packers. We will be entering the playoffs as a team that nobody is afraid of.

If the Packers can get the Bears to pass more (assuming that's the WC matchup), they should win. CW is almost impossible to sack, but he can be contained.

That said, I'm expecting a heavy dose of Swift and Monanghai, especially after the travesty against the Ravens.

The Packers have played well against the Bears this year. This would be an almost ideal matchup.

What you say makes sense, but I looked up the game where the Bears beat us - thinking that would help explain our collapse against them. But the Packers actually led in TOP by a good margin - 38:57 to 26:13. Kind of makes me even more disgusted with that loss.
it goes to show us that the biggest reason for losing football games is turnovers. That last one by Doubs killed us. :-(

I think Lambeau is less of an advantage as we Packer fans would like to think that it is. ;)
It used to be.

It’s just not really anymore at all.

I feel no more or less confident at home than on the road against any particular team.

Agree. Although, I would rather the Packers play all their playoff games at home, than on the road.

I think every home team has an "advantage", I just don't think Lambeau is any more of an advantage than the other 31 teams have.

What does Lambeau have to do with Packer postseason performance this century?
I remember kosing to TB and Tom Brady a few years ago. I can't think of a playoff win at Lambeau if this timeframe.

And I think the year the Niners eliminated the Packers was also at Lambeau. I think the Packers had the #1 seed, not quite certain. The score was like 13-7, and the only TD scored by the Niners was a punt block returned for 6.

They are competitive year in and year out. Except for a big road game win over Dallas in Love's first year as a starter, and a near miss the following week in SF...... Well they do make the playoffs every year, or most years. They just can't get over the hump.

Then again, it's hard to get to the SB, much less win it. The Lions were 15-2 last year with the #1 seed and lost on their first playoff game to the Commanders. This year the Lions didn't even make the playoffs.

It seems like forever that the Packers have been one or two players away from a first-seed team. Parsons made a huge difference, but was lost to injury, and the CB group is a bigger liability than an asset.

Beat the Bears and I'l be happy this year.

But if I'm being serious, The Broncos have never won at Lambeau. The Commanders haven't won in GB since 1986 and The Chargers have only one once.

If you look at the record of the Packers playing in Dallas since 1960 and the Cowboys playing in Wisconsin, the Pack have the better road record.

In watching the SeaTurkeys VS The 69'ers, I can't help but observe a few things.

If the Packers win their 1st playoff game next week, they play the winner of this game the following week. Not happy about facing either, but I'd rather face SF. The ST's D looks really good, as does their run game.

Finally, I'm really glad that we didn't have to play all 4 teams in the NFC West this season. We might have had 3 more losses. We drew The Cardinals and barely beat them, without their starting QB.

Depends on who the team is. Teams from Florida have a poor record at Lambeau, for instance. Takes time to adjust to the colder weather. That's one reason the home loss to Brady's Buccaneers in the NFCCG several years back irked me so much.

Plenty of reason for revenge against either team. Whether or not we'd get it is another thing.
