Micah does give a very good interview though. The guy is sharp. I think Haf is handling his playtime well. I don't think he needs to be on the field all the damn time. But it sounds like that's what Micah would prefer

That looks like some AI images and fake post......let me fact check....

Could be, hope not.

Damn it....was an easy vetting of the story, I should have done it before I posted.

Good call......it is fake.

Well...in my vetting, I at least also found out that AI loves CeeDee Lamb and Micah for the work that they both do for rescue dogs. :whistling: :coffee:

If this was posted already, forgive me, I was away camping and have been out of touch with almost everything. Although I did listen to both the Packers and Brewers on my radio!

So far the Parsons trade is paying HUGE dividends. I watched both games last night when I got home and WOW, the defense just looks faster, stronger and able to be at the ball quicker. I think a lot of it has to do with Micah's individual play, as well as making the other 10 guys around him better. Our DB's have to be smiling, because the front 7....are actually giving QB's very little time to pass.

Also, a lot of credit needs to be given to DC Jeff Hafley. This, his 2nd season as the DC, has started well and I think the best is still yet to come. After seeing that the Lions absolutely destroyed the Bears, made me even more confident in just how good this Packer team is....can be.

Oh and as if Micah's on the field stuff isn't great enough, THIS, made me absolutely LOVE the guy! (Not that there is anything wrong with that)

What a bummer that this is fake. I'm trying to figure out why someone would do this.

Your take on the defense is spot on. And the shutdown of the Lions is even more meaningful after they put 52 on the Bears.

It will be interesting to see how many snaps Parsons gets. He went from 30 to 50 in the first two weeks.

One rap on him is that he's not good in the run game. I haven't seen that so far. The guy is always around the ball. Maybe he's just being utilized better in GB.

He's gonna want to be on the field all the time.

Doesn't have to be true, it just has to grab attention.

At least these are positive, i suppose many people are looking for positive news stories to brighten their mood. But the best attention getter is more along the lines of: "<political figure's name in opposition party> declares the stomping on puppies is a great activity."

Yep. I’ve been casually tracking that through a pair of sources (espn, pff) not that they are gospel, but at least some measurement of comparing says player. He’s pretty much middle to upper middle in Run Defense. However he’s Elite in QB disruption. I believe he leads the league in Pressures.

I suspect (not factual just my opinion) that a Premier pass rusher has the primary responsibility of disrupting the QB. So on a chunk of plays an Elite Pass Rusher is assigned to attack the QB. When they hand off last second it probably doesn’t put them in an ideal position if Run Defense (they’re 4 yards in the backfield). Unless they are setting an Edge their Pass Rush grade should be weighted a little more and vice versa. He’s basically Quay Walker ranked in Run Defense, so not great but solid.

Yeah I thought the criticism of Parson's run defense was misplaced. His job #1 is to get to the QB and disrupt the play. What has amazed me is how close he gets to the QB even when held or double teamed. It really is like the has eyes in the back of his head. He is very instinctive and I don't think there's an OT in the league who can move him around a QB. Amazing guy to watch.

Another positive, Parsons is forcing much quicker passes. That makes the CB job easier. Nixon has come out of zone and cheated on a few plays. He has had a lot of passes defended and he'll get a pic 6 or two this year.

Thanks for the stats. I truly don't care much about his run defense. I want him going after the QB. Even in the run game, the guy just has a knack for being around the ball.

A poor run defense would be concerning if he was a LB. I think he is counted as a LB, but he is used everywhere to get after the QB. He's much more of an Edge/DE guy who can line up anywhere around the LOS.

WTG Jerry! I bet Cowboys fans don't mind when you are talking on your phone or to donors during a game, in your luxury box.

I wonder why Jerry would then go on to offer Parsons near $40mil if he was so discouraged by that situation?
Jones gave him a pretty sizable offer but it only had like 1yr Guaranteed (roughly). Why offer anything to him if he’s such a bad influence on everyone around him? Once again it’s like Jerry is somehow trying to cover his tracks. Something doesn’t smell right

Cowboys performance Monday night was eerily similar to ours Sunday. Maybe even worse. Kept shooting themselves in the foot at home.
