Yeah, that's an option. I've done that before.Tom Grossi play by play on the tube.
Bears Vikings on the big screen at the local sports betting venue. Pack and Jets get the small TV.Tom Grossi play by play on the tube.
I agree. I think if he’s on 1 side and Parsons is opposite it would be hard to Defend both guys.LVN is nasty. Stay healthy, please.
Especially with our rotation of DTs.I agree. I think if he’s on 1 side and Parsons is opposite it would be hard to Defend both guys.
we’ve got some good ones. Javon Hargrave didn’t even play today. He logged 22 Sacks over his last 3 complete seasons (1 season he missed a bunch of games)Especially with our rotation of DTs.
Speaking of. I noticed when we have a full Dline, GB makes plays. As soon as I see 3 d linemen, GB starts giving up yards and points.
Let the big boys play.
You can win a lot of games with a dominant pass rush, and a elite QB with elite weapons!I agree. I think if he’s on 1 side and Parsons is opposite it would be hard to Defend both guys.
I don't understand how we ended up with such a weak OL. MLF likes to run first, plus you'd think Gute would want to protect "his" QB.You can win a lot of games with a dominant pass rush, and a elite QB with elite weapons!
Well he thing I noticed is we didn’t have definitive locks at each position this Camp. Imo Partly because Zach and Banks were injured and GB was holding a competition at LG, RG, RT to see what’s what.I don't understand how we ended up with such a weak OL. MLF likes to run first, plus you'd think Gute would want to protect "his" QB.
It is hard to build a line with later round picks today or even undrafted players. You can piece it but somewhere along the way you have to climb the ladder with linemen instead of always going after wide receivers and corners.I don't understand how we ended up with such a weak OL. Yeah, IMO it should be more of a priority. It is hard to build a line with later round picks today or even undrafted players. You can piece it but somewhere along the way you have to climb the ladder with linemen instead of always going after wide receivers and corners.
I think Gute has invested. It may have just been wrong and/or not developed wrong.I don't understand how we ended up with such a weak OL. MLF likes to run first, plus you'd think Gute would want to protect "his" QB.
So he's just incompetent?I think Gute has invested. It may have just been wrong and/or not developed wrong.
Morgan is a first rounder
Banks is a significant FA signing
Belton is a 2nd rounder
ZBB is a significant re-signing.
Im pretty sure he invested in Myers in the 2nd round as well.
I mean, if that's what you wanna say, go for it. It's quite a take.So he's just incompetent?
) Nice work. That looks pretty normal.Gute took over as GM on January 7, 2018.
Just looking at draft capital invested:
2018 5th round G Cole Madison
2019 2nd round C Elgton Jenkins
2020 6th round T Jon Runyan Jr.
2020 6th round C Jake Hanson
2020 6th round T Simon Stepaniak
2021 2nd round C Josh Myers
2021 4th round G Royce Newman
2021 6th round OL Cole Van Lanen
2022 3rd round OL Sean Rhyan
2022 4th round OL Zach Tom (at the time)
2022 7th round OL Rasheed Walker
2024 1st round OL Jordan Morgan
2024 5th round OL Jacob Monk
2024 6th round T Travis Glover
2025 2nd round T Anthony Belton
2025 7th round OL John Williams
Some other noteworthy "investments" (probably not all-inclusive)
2019 - 4 years/28m to OT Billy Turner
2020 - 2 years/11m to OT Rick Wagner
2022 - 4 years/68m extension to Elgton Jenkins
2025 - 6th round pick traded for Darian Kinnard
2025 - 4 years/77m to G Aaron Banks
2025 - 4 years/88m extension to T Zach Tom
2026 - restructure contract for G Aaron Banks
2026 - 3 years/33m extension to C Sean Rhyan
Don't quote me on this but I believe in the "Gute Era" the Patriots are the only team who have drafted more OL than we have. Now of course that only speaks to the number of picks spent, not the "value" of said picks, but it's something to keep in mind
