Weeks 3, 5 and 10 are the only unknowns. One of them is a bye (please be Week 10). The other 2 weeks are games at @ Rams and @Titans

Good luck. Hopefully the walleye are biting.
Thanks.

Mostly large mouth bass and pike are biting where I am headed. I'm pretty much a catch and release guy, unless I am camping, need a meal and the walleye or perch are biting. I also love to Musky fish at least a dozen times a summer. Lots of decent lakes in and around Madison for those.

I think the Bye will be week 5, if it's week 10, the Packers will have 4 home games and a bye in a 5 week stretch. The Rams would make more sense week 10, otherwise if it's week 3, you go to Brazil, come home, then fly to LA, and then home. @ Titans week 3 would be more travel friendly. Just my prediction for those last 3 spots

Edit: I miss read that the Bears are away not home on week 11, and home week 18. With that in place, Bye week on week 10 would be ideal, with @Rams week 5 and @ Titans week 3

Some weird choices there... Packers only have 4 guaranteed national broadcasts all season (TH/SUN/MON night), and all 4 of them are in a row. I'm not sure how many games I'm going to get a look at here in Kentucky, although I'm sure they'll be a hot enough team this year that the networks are going to want to get them on the air at least a couple of nights.

Never saw a team draw 2 Thursday night games in a row before.

Oh, wow! Just checked the calendar for the Ryman Auditorium on Tennessee weekend, and it looks as though I am going to see the Beach Boys!!!! Yay!!

Or however many of them are still alive 4 months from now... God, I love the Ryman. My favorite live music venue in the world, with the possible exception of the Hollywood Bowl. So much history... I sit and wonder who was in that seat the day Bill Monroe first introduced bluegrass music to the world in 1945, or Johnny Cash first met June Carter, or Hank Williams played his first set, then snuck across the alley to the back door of Tootsie's and got drunk. After a while, the bartender said, "hey ain't you supposed to be playing across the alley"? Williams said, "well, they don't serve whiskey over there".

After a half hour, the Ryman stage manager finally came looking for him, and found him playing a solo set (bombed out of his mind) for the customers at Tootsie's. Stage manager banned him for life, on the spot. Hank Williams never played the Ryman again.

I've got a lot of good memories of the Ryman.

I think that it is 5 national broadcasts this season. There are the four in a row starting with Thanksgiving, and then Week 1 in Brazil is the 5th game. Of course, any of the three after Thanksgiving could be flexed out, so tough to use the word guaranteed.

It's also cool to see that all three Gold Package games are against division opponents.

I've been seeing at the Colts and the 1st home game against the Titans. And I've seen both for the viking's game.

Two things. One, teams usually start the season slow especially the offenses. If we can come out in good shape to start the season that would be a big help. But the second thing is the biggest Factor in a team success or failure and one that cannot be controlled. It's the x Factor - injuries. If we have relatively good luck in that department will be okay. If the injury bug develops a taste for packer flesh, then it likely will end up being a gee I wonder what if season.

I just realized the Packers are hosting a Thanksgiving game. Have they done that before?
I noticed that. Oddly enough we played @ Miami on Christmas last year. Not sure what the fascination is with playing the Dolphins on Holidays

Fish goes a ways back with Thanksgiving. Maybe they want to learn how to plant Corn like the Indians. Idk just throwing out some historic similarities :coffee:

I saw it reported that the Lions play 14 of their first 15 games indoors. Not sure what that means. Is that some sort of advantage for them? Could it make them more or less likely to get injured?
