Watching the Eagles entertain offers for their QBs I can't help to reflect on our own QB situation.
Had Brohm developed into what he was touted to be, what a great position the Pack would be this year. Had Brohm turned into a viable starting QB we would have at least gotten our 2nd pick back (even a 1st or 2nd and 4th) or teams may be interested in Flynn (7th round), turn into a 3rd or even 2nd.
Having some of these extra draft choices this year would have been great, not to mention the possible trade that could have been made.
I can't criticize TT for the pick, I even thought at the time to get a QB like Brohm for only a 2nd round pick was a smooth move. We get an excellent backup QB for little money and latter turn that 2nd pick into a 1st.
It is interesting that TT, except for last years draft, has not done well in the first two rounds, he has really made his living in the latter rounds.
I hope we have a repeat of last year, but I would be happy to trade down this year, especially with TT's track record.
