He just wonderin cause I never really pay attention to punting but how did our punter do last yr? Like in comparison to others in the league. Just wonderin cause he had the same number as bidwell i think...

---I take that back the punters with number 9 are
Bryan Barker
Josh Bidwell
Jon Ryan

#11 should be the punter David Beverly from the late 70's-early 80s. He was pretty decent, wasn't he? He took a lot more snaps than Hasselbeck, anyway.

Really Great Thread Pyle.

Check this out... I was searching Packer Numbers... Found this...

Has anyone read this book?

Also scroll down and read the bottom... 1, 2, 6, and 10 are "cheats." They never actually wore that number on the field in a game. For Curly Lambeau (1), Charley Mathys (2) and Cub Buck (10), these were the numbers assigned them in game programs.

here is the link...

I have to go see if I can get a cheap scalpers ticket to see my UCLA Bruins win tonight against Florida. So I will Post this early.

In Honor of the man who started this post (Pyle.)

When we get to his number, I vote for "T.T."

LB. Tom Toner of course - 1973, 1975-1977

(Big Ole Smile.)

****ey was a great quarterback with a so-so team. he should be listed somewhere.

I think Frank Patrick, that tall third string quarterback, also wore 10.

Seeing as how I don't see anybody of note at 23, I vote we move Travis Williams here (the number he wore from 1967-1970) and replace him at 17 with Craig Hentrich.

1. Lambeau
2. Mathys
3. Canadeo

Now the Obvious number 4 - Brett

LOL.. you didn't like Dawson with number four.

I actually was going to do the same thing except I could not think of another number 4

Paul Hornung wa the only Packer player to wear a single digit # between 1957 and 1986.
In 1986 Vince Ferragamo wore #5 andChuck Fusina wore #4.
In 1987 Don Majkowski wore #5.
In 1988 Majik changed to #7.

24 got to be Willie Wood
25 I like Levens
26 Torn Between Cecil and Adderly
27 Sad Number but I guess Buckley
28 Buchanon
29 I love Whisper but Charley Brock get my vote
30 Ahman Green

Sorry, I'm not that old to know every Packer who played under the number 23.
