Knowing French is certainly advantageous in this, and most parts of Canada. I can read and understand some French. Part of that comes from being in a country where product information and labels must be bilingual English and French. Many kids here are educated in French emersion programs from Grades 1-12 which started in the mid 70's. Being bilingual does give someone a leg up in getting work with the provincial or federal governments, among other opportunities.

It gets me more perturbed as to how we could have lost to this Steeler team.
Amen. We always hear about the NFL being a game of inches. First of all Patrick Peterson made a fantastic play on this ball. It’s catchable if he’s not in position to jump ball it perfectly. When you revisit that play the ball is near perfectly thrown. Perfectly would’ve been 4-6” higher and it’s indefensible.

Good chance Packers Win that game 26-23 even with the missed XPA and INT there.

We actually out yardaged the Steelers by 75 yards. Most of the other stat lines were even.
The failed XPA and eventually a Grade A+ play by Peterson changed the outcome and saved the game for the Steelers. It was a very close game and could’ve easily been a Packers W or at least OT game.

Maybe if we played the game 4 weeks later the result is different.

I had the Bengals listed twice. It was the Jaguars that was intended to be playing Cleveland. I corrected it but did not change the score or pick in any way.

Week 14 was a tough one to pick.

STANDINGS

Player Wk-pts Rec Bingos Tpts

Milani 7-8 35 126-82 3 1325
Poppa San 7-8 35 126-82 2 1120
Voyaguer 8-7 60 134-74 0 1050
Cdn Cheddar 6-9 30 115-77 1 960

Bingos are correct score predictions.

Some of players have not sent in their predictions lately so their scores and records tend to suck. Others may be new to this years pool.

Tynimiller No picks 31-18 1 350
lambeaulambo No picks 39-24 0 275
melvin dangerr No picks 11-5 0 75
Pike Badger No picks 14-18 0 70
Budman No picks 9-7 0 65
OldSchool101 7-8 0 35

Those of you who may have missed a few weeks, and wish to improve their pitiful scores, you are welcome back. Any new players who wish to show up the top tier players are more than welcome to join. Good luck to all!

There may be mistakes in the above calculations. If there are any discrepancies in scoring requiring correction, we will forward them to the accounting firm of Peterson, Foster, Olsen (PFO) who will audit your request. They really will
.

Was simply a rotten week. Lot of teams conspired to make us look dumb.

Unfortunately, in terms of maximizing advancement in the last 50 years I should have learned Spanish. Much of the workforce I encountered was Hispanic and if you could speak it you could succeed. The old requirement that we come here and must learn English and assimilate is out the window. My grandparents and relatives still spoke their language but they knew they HAD to learn English or else. And they did.
