The season is nearing its end. A lot still to be decided. Since FGs were in the headlines recently an interesting statistic popped up. There were 12 FGs successfully made in Week 16 that were 50+ yards. And in December. The game has changed. In 1960 there were only 5 made for the entire season. Does not appear to be one super team. Just a matter of which is healthy and which is playing well. The league reserves the right to change starting times of games this time of year.

Guess the score of each team of each game.
Each game winner you pick correctly earns 5 points.
Pick correctly the winner for at least half the scheduled games and you receive an additional 20 points bonus.
Pick correctly the winner for at least 75% of the scheduled games and you receive an additional 40 points plus the 20 points as well.
If you pick the correct winner for all but one game you earn an additional 100 bonus points plus the 20 and 40 from above!
Guess the winner of ALL the games and you win 150 bonus points plus the 20, 40, and 100 from above!
Guess the correct winner and SCORE of any game and you receive 125 points for each!
And if you should pick the correct winner and score of EVERY game you get 5,000 points mega jackpot!
Go for it!

Please enter your scores for the games below:

Now that Alexander is suspended some of you may rethink your score in our game. Jefferson may set some NFL records with no one to cover him. And a rookie QB could have the game of his life.

With missed extra points, cold weather and funky analytics, it seems like the numbers 22, 25, 26 and 29 are more common than they used to be. So I did use a 22 and 26 score this week.

I likely won't improve on my 0.448% exact score success rate. It would be nice to have OldSchool101's 2.13%, or even your 1.67% bingo rate, hell, even Poppa's 0.83 % rate.

Someone will bingo either of these last 2 weeks. 32 games. The dice should land.

Those pickers who kept their faith in the Packers were rewarded in Week 17. Poppa San hit a score bingo in the Colts Raiders matchup. Milani continues to lead the points race. Voyaguer continues to shine, picking over 66% of the winners this season. OldSchool101 moves up to the top scoreboard. Like Voyaguer, he went 13-3 this week. Happy New Year, and good luck in week 18!

STANDINGS

Player Wk-pts Rec Bingos Tpts

Milani 11-5 75 159-97 4 1720
Poppa San 9-7 65 155-101 3 1450
Voyaguer 13-3 125 169-87 0 1325
Cdn Cheddar 11-5 75 143-97 1 1160
OldSchool101 13-3 125 40-23 1 425

Bingos are correct score predictions.

Some of players have not sent in their predictions lately so their scores and records tend to reflect that.

Tynimiller No picks 31-18 1 350
lambeaulambo No picks 39-24 0 275
Melvin dangerr No picks 11-5 0 75
Pike Badger No picks 14-18 0 70
Budman No picks 9-7 0 65

Those of you who may have missed a few weeks, and wish to improve their pitiful scores, you are welcome back. Any new players who wish to show up the top tier players are more than welcome to join. Good luck to all!

There may be mistakes in the above calculations. If there are any discrepancies in scoring requiring correction, we will forward them to the accounting firm of Peterson, Foster, Olsen (PFO) who will audit your request. They really will.

Darn Vikings and Seahawks! Both cost me from getting over 75%. Crystal ball is getting cloudy.

You guys are blowing the wheels off of me with your correct scores. I can pick 'em with the best of 'em, but still can't get close to you because the correct score eludes me. I'm down to hoping that I can pull a rabbit out of my hat in the last slate of games, and hit some heavy jackpots to get in the hunt.

What makes this game a lot of fun is that it mixes skill with luck, and the standings can change in a heartbeat. What I need is one of the 16 for 16 days, along with about 3 exact scores, and I should have a shot at winning it all. But, it doesn't matter to me if I win, it's the competition that makes it enjoyable.

Nice job @Poppa San

@Voyageur and I were rewarded for picking Love n Co! Although neither expected that shellacking of those strange horn blowing, shirtless Cousins

I thought ******* the Steelers but I did the George Constanza, thinking if I bet on Seattle to win? They’d lose and thus I’d be a winner by putting us in 6th seed contention. So remind me when the Rams lose how I helped our team, while sacrificing my contest placing :roflmao:

Gentleman. Once again. Thank you for a good humbling ;)

It is kind of like breaking par with a good day on the course vs. a few players that happened to land a hole in one.

I never broke par unfortunately. In fact, I only hit par one time. It was an awesome day. Everything was falling right. It wasn't an easy course either. Copied after St. Andrews in Scotland. I loved that course. Wish I could still get out and play.

First time I ever golfed was in college with my roommates. Hit par on the first hole. We golfed barefoot and I had rented the clubs. Don't think I've parred a hole more than a dozen times since.

I gave it up in the 70s. Hit the wrong fairway too often. Hit a condo to the left of the tee. Hit another golfer near the green. Slice a ball over the fence that hit a side road and bounced back 9n a fairway. Gave it up. Took up tennis.
