I saw results of a poll yesterday. I believe it was the Milwaukee Journal. 52% to keep MLF and 39% to part with him. The rest had no opinion.

I saw a Facebook post a week ago from a woman who posted “who cares about the games, hell yes he should be back!”, which was agreed with by other women in the thread.

Nothing says “we’re a serious franchise” more than half our fanbase placing “eye candy” higher on the head coach qualification list than “does job well.”

Anybody can get canned. Just ask John Harbaugh or Doug Pederson.

I wish I could have been a fly on the wall and eavesdropped on these negotiations.
I never got the Pederson move. He just won a Superbowl for them with great playcalling. But maybe he was kind of back and forth

Think the women like MLF?

This guy had one of the better running QBs in the league and didn't script a play or three for him against the Bears? He's so innovative! Please. Not even a tackle eligible play all year. Too predictable, run right into the heart of the D-line and blow a down. I'm not impressed. Poor game/click management. You call a TO and then get a delay of game penalty?

Why is it that New England can turn a total dumpster fire with numerous holes into a powerful juggernaut overnight, and we have to hear “hang on! Be patient! Youngest team in the NFL! Growing and developing!” for like 5 years.

Packer leadership was clearly committed to MLF Gute and Ball all along. Taking heads and the barstool crowd talk about things dragging out. They played Saturday night. The deal was DONE 6 days later. That includes travelling back to GB, a Sunday, team exit meetings/interviews etc. I don’t think there was ever any question we were going in this direction. I also don’t think there are (or should be) any ultimatums re: MLF’s staff. The coach picks his staff. If you aren’t going to let him do that? You shouldn’t let him be the coach. The odds of winning a Super Bowl any given year are slightly above 3%… If you think that somehow just because we’re THE PACKERS we’re entitled to one as a matter of course… you’re delusional. The teams that win in any given year are the teams that are relatively healthy and playing at the end of the year. Thats the goal for next year and down the road.

The Patriots are a jugernaut? LOL, you’d have to explain your definition there.

Not sure if you’ve been paying any attention to football outside of Green Bay or not, but at the moment they’re 15-3, the 1 seed in the AFC and the conference favorite to go to the Super Bowl. At the time I’m writing this they just picked off Stroud for the 4th time in the first half.

I guess if “arguably the best team in the NFL” doesn’t meet your definition of a juggernaut, I’m not sure what does.

Jordan Love was 17th out of 32 QBs in the league. For the statistically challenged, that’s in the bottom half.

I guess MLF has had the Packers in Jugernaut status in the past then

17th out of 32 in what? Because he was 2nd in QB rating and 6th in QBR.

Or is this just one of those examples of people using statistics to paint whatever narrative they want?

You said he was one of the better running QBs in the league. He’s in the bottom half… 17th out of 32. I don’t want designed runs for Love except in verrrrrrrrry limited special situationa, if at all

Absolutely! Unfortunately, not once in the last 4 years, and they always choked when they were a juggernaut.
Yet by your definition clearly capable of creating a juggernaut. (You might want to consult a dictionary)

Nope. I was referring to Willis who never saw action if Love was active. What a waste.

I was talking about Willis.
Exactly how would that have helped us beat the Bears in the playoffs? Willis didn’t didn’t play. Love had a phenominal game. Im a little confused how one can argue that a guy (in very limited action) performed as “one of the better running QBs in the league” while at the same time alluding that his team did nothing to facilitate that.

They now have an excellent coach with good drafting, etc.
Just wait now for the Raiders. Brady will have a positive effect plus I'm thinking they take the Indiana QB who in 2-3yrs might be very, very good.
