I don't know when y'all's first preseason game is, but ours is Sunday Sunday, Sunday Bears at Miami and I can't wait!!!!!
We're doing joint practices on Thursday and Friday or I believe and then we're playing the game Sunday at one and since there's only three preseason games I'm really hoping that Caleb and the starters will play some because there's only limited time to practice and I think Ben Johnson believes and getting the guys out there and getting dirty and preseason so hope it's a good clean game no injuries!!!!

I hope the same for y'all and will come back and compare notes on Monday!!!!!!!!!

We've got a free Black Crowes concert on Friday evening and a home preseason game on Saturday at 7 PM.

It's in Green Bay, right outside the stadium in the area where the draft was held.

I'm originally a Wisconsinite with stops in Chicago as a cop and out in California as a cop, plus living in Texas off and on since the early 80s, as well as Wisconsin & Illinois.

For a lot of years, I was a "Winter Texan," spending 6-months a year in Wisconsin and 6-months down here in the RGV. Now I'm just too old to travel a lot and I can stand the heat by not going out in the middle of the day in the hot summers down here but enjoy the heck out of our outdoor pool in the winter. We live in a 55+ retirement community which is more like a resort with all our activities and resources. I put more miles on my golf cart every year now than I do my car.

I'm interested in how much CW plays. Ordinarily I wouldn't expect more than two series, maybe Q1 for the starting QB. But with Johnson new to the team and a lot of offseason moves, maybe the first team plays longer. Ummmm, nah!!!

I actually agree with Rodgers on the low value of PS games, esp for the starters. No coach is going to get into the intricacies of the game plan. And decisions have to be made on guys like UDFAs and additions, so it makes sense for these guys to play a lot.

Anyway please let us know what you see after the Miami game.

That sounds like good living Bubby and I knew you were a cop in Chicago and lived in Wisconsin and had moved to Texas, so that's where the question came from?

I think they'll play him for at least one possession. They're going to want to see how he directs the team and how they respond. He's a smart coach who wouldn't risk going into the season with an important game like the Vikings without knowing what he needs to do for game planning based on the way the team coalesces around him.

Nope.....been confirmed no playing Sunday.
I'll trust my coach, but I wish he was getting some live reps, but I did hear that we just basically annihilated the Dolphins in practice today but again it's preseason and it means nothing.... but it's better than hearing the Dolphins beat us up and down the field....so there's that.

The first series, Tyson a agent and the Bears offense went three and out and looked rusty as he.ll and put it away gave great field position to the dolphins at their own 40 yard line or thereabouts

Luther burden had a really nice play on third and 15 where he knew exactly where the marker was ran to it caught the ball and lunged forward for another yard without even looking at anything to make sure you got the first down as nice to have a heads up player, that's aware of where the first down marker is.
I think this guy was a steel in the second round, I also believe his pic that we used was the final piece of the trade with Carolina...... which is why I believe in Ryan Poles because that may be is the second best trade in NFL history

Bears go for it on fourth and three and Bagent makes a beautiful 9 foot tall throw in the back of the end zone.....that dude goes up and gets it...toe taps and is a touchdown.

Special teams gave up a return to like the 40 and Miami gas test again and are now unlike the 15 yard line so the defense has been kind of stingy but just keeps giving up 3rd downs and also like 3 chunk plays already. I know it's back ups and you have to take everything with a grain of salt but still it's Dennis Alan's formula and right now..... the backups are great in short field but open field not playing so well.

Third and five and they gave up 15 yards.... we're and then gave up like an 8 yard run for a touchdown and I don't think anyone laid a hand on him so still lotta work to go but credit to Miami for just marching down the field.
