He can play, and he has a motor that would rival Matthews, but as a Giants fan and watching him play, his lack of athleticism in a way compromises our defense.

He makes up for it in heart, but the shock factor of your post to me is you overlooking a guy like Kiwanuka who can play OLB, or a guy like Canty who is a great 5T, or a guy like Antrel Rolle or Kenny Phillips. Maybe even Tuck or Osi (whose ages might turn you off).

Aside from the obvious JPP, who is just gonna be a force for years to come.

I love Blackburn, and I think his intensity was a huge part of why we made a run this year, but I'm just shocked he gets recognition by other fan bases on a star studded D.

If it was anyone in the nfl I might go with Revis or Ngata. Willis would be the 3rd choice.
