Do they not award it this year?

The Defense?

Jordy Nelson?

John Kuhn?

John Crockett?

Sadly I got nothing for offense... Maybe "the hoodie" Not JJ... Just the hoodie

Bunch of players with good performances on defense... But has anyone been consistently good all year. Shields when he wasn't hurt maybe?

Burnett has seemed to move in the right direction as well.

But I have a hard time saying the Packers had a bonafide superstar caliber player on either side of the ball this year.

Kind of pathetic that a 10-6 team has nobody on Offense that people can realistically say "Oh yes, he was the MVP of that offense!" Personally, I would vote for Kuhn on the basis that he seemed to make the least amount of mistakes and may be in his final year as a Packer :( Jones a close second for coming back to GB and having an ok season as well as rocking that hoodie! Speaking of.....I'm just waiting to see him get clothes lined by someone tackling him by the hoodie....although that would require him to be running pretty fast....so never mind.

IMO the entire offense deserves it: They've been pretty damned offensive for most of the season.

Maybe Josh Sitton. He's one dude who has been able to stay on the field this season almost all the time. He got a Pro Bowl selection. And he at least tried to play left tackle in place of Bahktiari when the team only had two slugs left to fill the spot.

Richard Rodgers, if for no other reason than "the catch". The season is already over if they'd lost in Detroit.

James Jones. He is the only one who has played above his abilities this year. No one else has even played to their abilities than him.

Now if we are counting guys who didn't play then its Jordy because apparently the entire offense falls to pieces without him.

He did Sunday night or at least it looked like he did from the 700 section of Lambeau.

I would say hands down JC Tretter. The guy is able to jump in any line position and actually be good at it. I think he's much better at run blocking than Linsley is. Seems like when he's on center is when our running game is clicking.

I wouldnt give him the mvp, but I agree with your assessment that the run game seems better with him there

This is sad. 3800 yards 31 td's and 8 int. Rodgers is hands down the MVP just like he always is...
Think about that for a second, you all consider that so horrible that not one person thinks Rodgers is easily the MVP. And people!e call me a spoiled entitled fan because I am not happy not winning super bowls...

I mean seriously, wtf?

An MVP isn't just the guy with the best stats. That can be a sign of the position played, the relative achievements of other players at that position, etc. I'm with Milani that Josh Sitton deserves it with a nod to Tretter, who might be making his first start at LT this Sunday. No WR or RB on the Packers this year has been consistently valuable to this team in 2015. Sitton has been his usual rock, as noted made the Pro Bowl on merit (not just name recognition), and moved over to LT when the team needed him. That's valuable.

Trying to figure out which skill player is the MVP is really more of an exercise of who wasn't terrible. I don't like that game.

How many td in 1st 7 games = 15

Last 9=16

Two more games and only one more to... His 2nd half suck for his standards

When I think back on the offense's performance this season, the thing that will stand out first is that catch in the end zone. Rodgers throw on that play was more impressive, but I would give it to the other Rodgers because I feel like it.

We stole JJ and he clearly has given us the most value, the root word in valuable.. If we had not picked Jones up I'm confident we'd have already been sent packing (no pun).
Also, his experience could be one of the key factors in an upset or two this postseason.
