According to NFL Network, we can only miss on one game to make it in. First, the Lions and Vikes HAVE TO WIN or we are out.

Then if any 2 of the following happen, we're gone:

Cards, Dolphins and 49ers lose
or
Panthers, Houston, or Tampa Bay win.

So, we need at least 7 out of 8 in our favor. Plus, we have to win too.

I'm not feeling too bad about this season. 1) I don't believe we're a quality playoff team anyway. 2) this team did much better than I ever imagined they would do. 3) There is some hope for next year provided Brett comes back. 4) This off season is vital for the Packers to make the next step which means Ted Thompson has to renegotiate a few contracts, sign a few free agents and he has to have a great draft.

Honestly, I can't wait for next year.

If we make it into the playoffs we deserve to be there. But it is no ones fault but ourselvs if we do not. We probably could have had two more wins under our belt and been in a playoff spot if it was not for two games in specific i can think of. Which would be that Rams game, and the Bills game.

I think it is a done deal too. I would bet my life and every thing I got that we will not get in. But it is just the concept of it. Because people will downsize what the Packers had did if we would have made it in.

yep, the packers are the only team alive out of the 7-8 teams in the NFC! Atleast we have that for the next 12 hours....

I dont understand why people are upset about the Giants game. I know there were some questionable calls throughout the game but the Packers would not even be in the spot we are in now if it wasnt that we lost games that we should have won....It hurts for me to say that because I want more than anything for the Packers to be in the playoffs!!

Last years Draft was loaded with talent. This years isn't as talented but you can find good players in every draft. I wouldn't expect to find 4 or 5 starters from next years Draft. Last years Draft was just one of a kind IMO in terms of talent all over the league.

A guy named Greg Jennings comes to mind....so does a couple of O linemen...One O lineman in particular......We had a very good draft.

Not to get off topic, but good players can be found in every draft. Great players on the other hand are very rare (usually not more than 5 or 6 in each draft class - and very few of those are found outside the top 5 of the draft). We need a few great players, not a lot of good ones.

1) GB win + GB clinches strength of victory tiebreaker over NYG**

**Packers clinch strength of victory tiebreaker over NY Giants if all of the following occur:
ARI win, DET win, MIA win, MIN win, SF win, CAR loss, HOU loss, TB loss.

If Green Bay and NY Giants end up tied in strength of victory, then tie will be decided by best strength of schedule.
