I am all for just throwin our money and our picks in thesomehow Dline If we can get some mean boys on that front four to help kampan and jenkins, (I am really hoping we get peppers some how) and maybe get one of those mean dudes from ALA or OKL. I think once that happens, the pack are goona be a team to be reckoned with year in and year out. cause lets face it, the offense is there (besides a little problem on the Oline, which will heal in time) the defense is two good dlineman away from bein a damn good defense. GO PACK GO

Cushing will go too high, and might be overrated. Curry will be top 3.... I would look for Sintim from VA.
But unless there are not DE's, I wouldn't go anything but trenches.
At Guard, Andy Levitre looks solid. He could be a possible 2nd round pick.
for DE, I want Michael Johnson. I think he is a monster, from GT. All the one's I mentioned can be obtained witht he 1st round pick. Only knock is a production question, but has incredible measures, and might be overrated. Safe pick is Orakpo or maybe even Jackson.
I would go maybe Johnson first, Levitre will be in the second round possibly unless he has a good/bad combine. Also, combine pending, I think Sintim will be pretty solid.
Larry English, DE from Northern Illinois might be worth a look.
I would rather see FA aquisitions though.
EDIT: This draft is incredibly deep in the trenches, and in LB. Very rich in many respects. With 3 picks in the first two rounds, GB can get starting guard, DE, and LB.

How about that DE from Penn State? I forget his name, but he is rated pretty high on all draft boards. As long as the guy could rush the passer I'm all for him.

I agree. I think Johnson has way more upside, even if he'll only be a pass rushing specialist as a rookie.
The USC kids are really tempting, but I don't want this team to become the Lions or Bengals where we only focus on skill positions and don't take care of the lines. It doesn't matter how talented the linebackers are if the front four can't eat up blockers, and the DBs can have all the talent in the world but will still get beat if there's no pass rush.
Toronto_Cheesehead said:Everette Brown out of FSU is another DE prospect that we should look at. He's an underclassmen, but if he declares he could be another solution to our pass rush problems. Finding a pass rushing interior linemen in the 2nd or 3rd round would help too.

The only thing after that is you wanna draft a OT who is ready to play not a project like Sitton. Problem is I am really torn between Johnson and Maualuga. I guess draft day will tell.
But I fully expect Thompson to trade this pick for a late 1st round and 2nd round picks, and get somoene who will not be able to start for a few years. Time is now, TT you cannot rebuild forever. I hope he reads this lol.

We need a Left Tackle now. I like Stanchek from WV. Good size, very nimble, 40+ games played in college....possibly can get in the 2nd round.
