It was just announced on SNL that Eli will be hosting on May 5.
Remember there was some talk (from Rodgers himself) of him going on the show and possibly hosting?
Well, I guess it's not going to happen. At least this year.
(If he wins another Super Bowl, it'll happen.)
But it makes sense for Eli to host because of the 2nd Super Bowl and the New York connection.
In 37 seasons, Eli will become just the 4th quarterback to host SNL.
The others:
Fran Tarkenton (1977), Joe Montana (1987, co-hosted with Walter Payton), Tom Brady (2004) and Peyton Manning (2007).
