Excellent post Bruce! (However, we did expect them to win.)

I thought that was the most impressive victory under Sherman. Undermanned, on the road, against the defending Super Bowl Champs. I remember in an interview when he said he told the team:

"Instead of looking for excuses to lose, let's find reasons to win!"

I thought that was a great line at the time, and I still do.

    Of course WE did...

but then again we are true Packer fans -- fans that are loved by Gods like Atlas -- who contrary to popular belief, Atlas didn't hold up the world. He held up the sky!

    :joy: :joy:

Bravo Bruce.....bravo. That was a true team effort there. With most of the defenses leaders down with injury the back ups stepped it up and knocked off the defending champs. A true team effort.....

I like the influx of some new posters. Keep 'em(the good ones at least!) coming.

Oh yeah, these quotes are just great.

"Instead of looking for excuses to lose, let's find reasons to win!"

"Adversity causes some men to break and others to break records."

I loved that game and due to the outcome, I thought we were going to cream the Jets later in the season.
