Welp....I was hoping to not have to develop this thread for a few more weeks. Either way like always below you'll find the roster as it sits right now. Under each position group guys listed first are under contract, guys italicized beneath them are free agents of some kind and I tried to locate and note which type they are. If you notice an issue on types they are (like Yosh in years past) let me know, sometimes sites disagree on this. Practice squad guys eligible for futures I assume listed at bottom of list for now at time of typing.

To be fair, most teams ignore PFF - and have their own inhouse grading systems. PFF just happens to be one fans also have access too...

Yeah I'm thinking Nixon is gonna get paid more than we should offer to match elsewhere and truthfully....we should demand better slot corner play than we get from him IMO. I know many want him back...but that money could for sure be spent better elsewhere.

Yeah I think only Taylor may be the only ERFA we let kinda go test the waters and circle back to if needed.

Honestly first year I can remember I'm in the boat of not a single UFA IMO needs talked to until draft happens IF EVER....if draft falls terrible for us in some ways I could see minimum offer to like a Yosh or Runyan for OL depth if no one elsewhere kicks their can. Shoot, even Deguara I'd circle back with if you don't think you have any potential H back option through draft, UDFA or even perhaps Henry Pearson isn't back in house and an option.

Now truthfully I suspect Gute resigns Owens or Ford or something at safety minimum just so we literally don't have just one but could care less who truthfully as I would want Owens or Ford as a depth guy not a starter.

Without knowing the cap situation I'd be ok with resigning Owens, Ballentine, Runyan and Melton. The proviso here is Owens has to learn how to tackle.

Depending on what we draft I would be ok with letting Campbell and Bakh go. Also am I the only one who HOPES we drop Newman?

My hunch is he is in fact a RFA, unless spotrac knows something others don't lol...guess time will tell. He also hasn't been listed in any news story I've seen listing Packers Free Agents...but I for sure haven't seen them all.

As of a few hours ago, only one signed player is over 28 years old. Preston at age 31. 4 players are 28 and 3 are 27. Only 6 players from the 2020 NFCC remain on the roster.
