I have no problem with criticism, but when people make absolute statements, before a guy has even put on a Packer jersey, I find it comical. Then some want to use THAT to go even further and they draw the conclusion that Gute is incompetent.

I'm not really following what posters are the ones jumping off cliffs the last 3 days, but there has been enough of them to make me roll my eyes after each pick.
I get it if they’re doing it to every pick. Literally the only one I criticized and for very good reason. How many QBs went after we picked him? One, Hall who has higher upside. McKee is still available. No one was taking this kid. I’d Love doesn’t work out for some reason, it’s going to be very important that we can evaluate quarterbacks… this pick doesn’t give me confidence they can and looks way more they reacted out of fear. That might not be the case, but this kid’s upside is practice squad or 3rd string.

Didn't mean to single you out, sorry if it felt like it. Like I said, not really following what each poster says, was more of a general comment concerning the negative reactions after each pick.

I don't like/understand the Pick either, but I'm sure if we were in the war room, we might understand their philosophy behind it. That doesn't mean it was or will be a great pick, just that the group making the decisions, felt it was the guy they wanted when it came time to pick.

Green Bay brought Clifford in for a visit so they had their eye on him to some extent

Philly will definitely be the team to beat in the NFC going forward, strong draft, strong roster. We have to build a team that can compete with them, but it may take a few years.

The Bears are having an amazing draft, in my opinion.

The Lions and Vikings have utterly blown it.

I think the WR we picked is a replacement for next year as our WR corps are getting long on the tooth.

The JSN pick was great. Excellent complement to what they have now.

I'm talking about Witherspoon. They had the 5th pick and they spent it on a 180# corner who's a middling athlete and wins with physicality.

That's one of my least favorite picks of the whole round.

I think they will try to run him like Sherman. Shut down Corners on both sides is gonna be rough.

Crosby is done in GB.....figured they would try to select one of the top kickers in the 6th or 7th.
