Oh how I remember him. I remember him and his games against my Raiders.

I did a search on the internet... Here is the the scoop as far as where he is right now.

John "JJ" Jefferson is in his fourth year as Director of Player Development with the Redskins. Previously, he spent five years as the Director of Student-Athlete Life at the University of Kansas.

A member of the famed "Air Coryell" offense that revolutionized San Diego's passing game, Jefferson played wide receiver for the Chargers in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Known for his acrobatic catches, Jefferson was a four-time Pro Bowler.

Jeffeson began his NFL career as a first-round draft choice of the Chargers in 1978 and played under offensive coordinator Joe Gibbs for two seasons. He is a graduate of Arizona State University with a bachelor's degree in history.

You have to love the internet.... It is a powerful search tool.
